Great book to learn something about cinematography, but not that great to someone with no prior knowledge. Indeed, sometimes it was quite difficult to follow all the technical stuff, and most of the numbers aren't explained properly. Anyway, if one insists on finishing it, even if ignoring some unclear parts, it still pays off the effort.

This is an excellent book for those who really want to understand in a very simple way how to get the most of light in photography and film production, very efficent book!!
