Excellent book!

Gwen and her 6-year-old son have fled her abusive husband and landed in a small New York town. She is soon hired to babysit the young daughter of the richest people in town. Gwen is happy in her position, but she feels the undercurrent of something terribly wrong with Priscilla and her husband, Nick. She is also feeling an attraction to Nick that she is desperately fighting. An attempted kidnapping and the murder of Priscilla starts the mystery ball rolling.

There are so many things going on that trying to figure out what, who, and especially why stay just beyond your grasp until the last page. Incredibly good mystery .... fully flushed out characters... I find it hard to believe that this is the author's first book. If you like mysteries, you will love this one!
