Sin & Fall by Hana Meadows
I'm going to start off by saying that this is my first book by this author and I am completely OBSESSED! I read this in a day and a half because I couldn't put it down!

Zack is definitely the definition of unhinged and obsessed. Zack has a plan and he wants to follow through with it. What he doesn't expect is to be driving and almost running down an angel in the road. Little does he know when he picks up the "little sinner" his whole world is going to flip upside down.
Chloe is on the run from the convent because she can't take it anymore. She did something and she finally had enough so she ran and never looked back. She is running and she doesn't expect to almost be run down. She does not know what to think about him because she thinks he seems a little crazy and unhinged.
Zack and Chloe both have gone through so much. Zach is doing all the wrong things to deal with his grief and Chloe is just running from her problems and doesn't want to go back. What they both don't expect is to start feeling things they haven't ever felt towards each other. The chemistry between them is electric and it doesn't stop. Zach isn't sure how to handle his emotions so he thinks he needs to just push Chloe away but all she wants to do is help him.

Sin and Fall is now one of the best dark romance books I've read this year. Chloe and Zack's story is completely unhinged and had me in a chokehold. I read it in one day. I couldn't put it down. My husband had to listen to me read my favorite parts to him. I don't want to give any spoilers but the ending was perfect.

More like 2.5 stars on this one.
I went in with really high hopes because the plot sounded so interesting. The mmc going through it after his twin sister unalives herself and he goes on a quest to take revenge on the man who ab*sed her and a nun running away after being graped at the church and ab*sed finding herself taking a ride from the mmc and doing a lot of dark things with him.
The smut in this book was good but it did overshadow the plot. There was little to no character development and i felt like i didn’t feel satisfied by the end of this. The story had so much potential but unfortunately the mmc was trying to hard with no development and he came off as unlikable for me.

This book destroyed me—in the best, most unhinged way 🖤🔥
I went in thinking it’d be a quick dark romance... and ended up emotionally attached to a feral, revenge-obsessed man and a not-so-innocent nun with secrets of her own 👀

What happens when a depressed drug addict meets a suppressed nun from a convent? Loooots of sinning, apparently 🥵🤤
I went into this ARC pretty blind, only knowing it was a dark romance about a nun, and MAN was I not disappointed.
Chloe, our fmc, is sweet, but she is far from innocent.
And our mmc Zack? Wicked, sinful, and living on the edge.
Both mc’s have a tragic backstory that absolutely grips your soul, and in one single night, they seem to break free from the grip of their pasts.
It is not a normal love story. A lot of murder, torture, and steamy spice that had me feeling all types of ways. The ending was absolutely PERFECT!
Definitely read trigger warnings, prepare for SA, extreme dub con and non con, borderline SA between the mc’s, and a gore.
4 ⭐️, 5 🌶️ like all of the chili peppers 🥵💀

When a handsome blond hair, tattooed, drug addicted boy is going on the mission of his life running into a girl in the middle of a dark road dressed as a nun was not what he expected, and with the drugs in his system who is to know if she is real.
But Chloe is very real and very much needs help putting distance between her and her personal hell where she just escaped a "convent".
She begs our boy Zack to help her, to save her but what we see is that Zack is the one who needs saving and Chole is the one to do it.
Will she save him from a life in hell or is she willing to burn with him?
Zack and Chloe have both experienced a lot of trauma in their few years of life but when Chloe finds out the mission Zack is on, who is involved, what happened and who he is doing it for, she's ready to get her hands bloody and with his fingers laced through his going on this adventure together.
But when Chloe gets hit with the realization the leader of her pain and trauma is interlinked with Zack and his mission, its as if they were meant to run into each other on that dark road early October.
Its now October 6th, and its time to end it all!.

The concept of all these events happening over one night had me intrigued. So in hand, the romance is also very insta lust and continues to only get stronger and wilder though out the story.
A relationship that’s built on both parties being severely traumatised and by chance, find each other.
This story has some heavy elements of religious trauma, grief and revenge. Yes to the revenge, always. What makes a character better then when they get bitter and even?! 😅
I actually loved each MC’s personal back stories. It definitely shows growth for both Chloe and Zack. I would have loved to delve more into this if there were extra pages.
The main thing that had my attention was the second half of this book. The aftermath?! The epilogue?! These characters are absolutely wild, and feral for each other. Definitely giving us Bonnie + Clyde vibes!
I found this half thoroughly entertaining!
This is a great read if you want something very fast paced. Straight to romance. Lots of somethin’-somethin’ play and an unhinged ending.

Such a pleasant surprise! I expected lots of smut and almost no plot — instead, I got plenty of well-written smut (and I mean really well-written 🌶️ scenes) and an excellent story.
It was so sweet! Okay, maybe that’s not the right word. Let’s say adorable — if that word can describe something very morally questionable — but I’m sure dark romance fans will understand. Who else would appreciate the beauty of revenge, forced proximity, and a rosary leash? Revenge with some very creative twists, by the way.
I love both characters equally. I can’t choose between Zack and Chloe. I’m not entirely sure someone as psycho as Zack should be that loveable, but the author absolutely made it work — and Chloe definitely keeps up with him. Their backstories and character development were fantastic.
Sin & Fall was such an engaging read; I was curious after every single chapter what would happen next. I had never read anything by Hana Meadows before, but I’m definitely going to fix that — because if all her books are this good, it’d be a crime to skip them!

I LOVED every single thing about it. Unhinged, feral, psychotic. Pick your poison, because Zack embodies all of it. Honestly, he’s one of the most unhinged MLs I’ve come across in a book so far. But beyond the chaos, there’s more to him than the madness. Strip away the violence & obsession? You'll see a broken man shaped by grief, loss & injustice.
What I also love is how the story challenges the idea of “monsters.” It asks you to look deeper, to question what really makes a monster. So, while on the surface this looks like an unhinged romance soaked in blood & obsession, underneath lies a deeper message:
Monsters are not born. They’re made.
Underneath all the madness & carnage, this book forces you to face a brutal truth & I devoured every second of it.

Well, I can surely understand why some people would like or love this book, but unfortunately it wasn’t a book for me.
While the smut was extremely hot and I cannot complain about it, I felt a little bit lost when it comes to the plot. It seemed to be all over the place and the events happening made me confused at times.
The main characters were likeable. Zack was a little bit psycho, but considering what happened to his sister, it’s no wonder. Chloe, on the other hand, was incredibly strong after what she had been through during all those years.
I didn’t like that the book was so insta-lust and insta-love, however, I have no problem understanding why the author decided to go with it — the action takes place during one night. So yeah, totally understandable.

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read.
This book follows a nun who throws down the rosary and runs headfirst in the arms of the villain. Not metaphorically - literally, drugs, knives and a mouth that would make a sailor blush. But there’s more to Zach than meets the eye and the question is: is he willing to let her in to dance with his demons?
This book was written for booktok. That’s not a good thing. The problem is there seems to be so much emphasis on shoving as many popular booktok tropes in as possible that it takes away from literally every other aspect of the book. The plot gets lost, there’s little to no character development and the MMC is trying far too hard to be sexy and just comes across as mean and unlikeable. It’s a shame because the plot had potential and I was very excited about the prospect of a nun on the run but sadly I ran all the way to the DNF tab in storygraph.
Overall, if you like cheesy booktok dark romances have at it but it really wasn’t my thing.

This book follows a nun who throws down the rosary and runs headfirst in the arms of the villain. Not metaphorically - literally, drugs, knives and a mouth that would make a sailor blush. But there’s more to Zach than meets the eye and the question is: is he willing to let her in to dance with his demons?
This book was written for booktok. That’s not a good thing. The problem is there seems to be so much emphasis on shoving as many popular booktok tropes in as possible that it takes away from literally every other aspect of the book. The plot gets lost, there’s little to no character development and the MMC is trying far too hard to be sexy and just comes across as mean and unlikeable. It’s a shame because the plot had potential and I was very excited about the prospect of a nun on the run but sadly I ran all the way to the DNF tab in storygraph.
Overall, if you like cheesy booktok dark romances have at it but it really wasn’t my thing.

Holy sh*t. This might be one of the spiciest books I’ve read all year and that’s saying something. Chloe and Zack’s story was so beautifully crafted in both of their darkness. They both needed each other in their own way and discovered that who they were with each other is exactly what they were needing. This book is dark and I loved every second of the depravity. I would highly recommend to any dark romance reader out there, but make sure to check your trigger warnings. Love, love, loved this and wish it would have been longer.

Sin and Fall by Hannah Meadows
The plot was super interesting and it was very driven which is super great for a book in my opinion! The plot really stood on its own and had a great bit of enhancements when it came to the spice that was prevalent!
I loved seeing the characters grow together and more! This book has your feelings all over the place! It was super interesting and ultimately a great read!

I went into this book blind and my god it was worth it!
I’ve never read a book that has characters like that.
The FMC Chloe is a nun. Yup you read that right. But she’s far from innocent if you know what I mean. The MMC Zack is a drug addicted but on a revenge journey.
This book was unusual for me and it’s a short read too.
Chloe and Zack crossed paths one night and the rest is history.
They take us on a journey of revenge (on both sides) and I was here for all!
I especially like their wedding night.

Sin & Fall was delivered in the perfect blend of dark, delicious, and emotional. Hana’s writing has yet to disappoint me. I was hooked from the first page! I’d love to see more of Zack and Chloe again in the future because I absolutely loved how their chemistry helped heal each other’s wounds.

This was so good, I really enjoyed it. It was dark and unhinged just how I like it. Chloe and Zack both went through dark, traumatic things that shaped their darkness, and together they were perfect for each other. They ultimately helped one another heal, and I loved their brand of bloody unhinged vengeance.

Zack and Chloe are unhinged and psycho but perfect for each other. Zack is dealing with his traumatic past and Chloe has her demons from her time in the covenant. Both are drawn to the other's darkness.

Perfect for anyone who likes instalove. Story takes place within 24 hours.
This review is solely my personal opinion.
S&F has so much potential if just made a little longer. I didn't feel a connection to the characters as there was VERY minimal character development. I did start to feel the connection grow but it was all sexual.
I also didn't like the giant gaps at the end. It made me think was that she ran out of time.
I did LOVE the spicy scenes because they were unique and something different than normal.
I had mixed feelings regarding the ending. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVED it until they were consummating their marriage.

Depressed, addicted psychopath meets strong but broken underground psychopath? I mean… say less. I was hooked from the start. This book is heavy on grief and trauma, so definitely check those trigger warnings, but it was worth it.
I really loved this story. Zack and Chloe’s dynamic had me glued to the pages. My only wish is that we got a little more background on the plot, there were parts where I still felt a bit lost even after things were revealed. But honestly, that didn’t take much away for me. The smut? Hot. The pacing? Fast and addictive. Overall, it was a dark, emotional ride that I flew through.
Note to the author: Huge thank you for the ARC! I loved getting the chance to experience Zack and Chloe’s story.

Straight off the bat Hana Meadows throws us into a twisted story. Personally I did get the vibe like more smut than plot but I’m all for it, definitely a thrill of a ride.
