Masks & Murder
🎃 Murder wears a mask… and it’s stalking Dominion Point. 🕯️
The Masquerade Ball is the highlight of the season—enchanted costumes, glittering lights, and a chance to be someone else for a night. But when a series of eerily staged murders shakes the academy, Paige Calloway finds herself in the crosshairs of a killer known only as the Harvest Reaper.
Partnered with a new Vigilante cadet and locked in a silent standoff with her broody mentor Ashford, Paige is determined to prove she belongs on the front lines. The only problem? The killer might be closer than anyone thinks… and this time, the mask might not come off.
Secrets are unraveling. Shadows are watching. And beneath the sparkle of Halloween, something wicked is hunting.
Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries with a twist of capes, slow-burn romance, and smart, determined heroines who know how to find trouble—and a murderer—before trouble finds them.

Halloween Harvest
Okay so the good the bad and everything in between. Firstly this is far and away the best of the series. It’s like they finally got out of their way of trying too hard to build what was there by virtue of the storyline and just let it unfold. Well for like 80 percent of the story anyways. I like the tension building between Paige and Ashford and some recognition on what’s really between them even if they’re not naming it yet or admitting it fully. The Cass and Celeste thing is a surprise but I’m for it, hopefully it goes well for both of them. Also can we not be the cliché girl in ever horror movie like ever lol. I mean it works out and it’s kinda funny but seriously for a strategy student come on!
I will say there are a bunch of timeline or consistency issues. Some could just be repetitiveness. But there are places where for example Paige is wearing one thing and then suddenly she’s got something completely different with no explanation. Time flow was weird. I’m not sure how long the events were in this book. I’m also not sure if that’s an issue for me or not, like was it a week a month a couple days. It’s odd. I think the last like 20 percent or so was dragged out a bit too much. I’m not usually one for saying this cause more story is almost always better but I think this one would’ve benefited if it was a bit shorter.
So in summary best book of the series to date and overall an enjoyable and entertaining read.

Masks and Murder - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
Book 4 in the Dominion Point Mystery Series, Isadora Brown and HC Cardon's Masks and Murder sees fear of a merciless murderer rise at the academy, as he strikes again and again.
This time the killer's focus is on 'non-Dom' Paige Callaway...but why does he spare her, just to terrorise her repeatedly?
As the Halloween Ball approaches, her friends and even her rebellious grandmother, Evelyn, encourage Paige to attend.
How it will turn out is anybody's guess, so grab a copy of Masks And Murder right now to answer all your questions and more!

Paige is back in Masks and Murder, book four in The Dominion Point Mystery series, and this series just gets better and better with each book I read. If you have been reading the series, then you know all about Paige, and in this book, she has another murder mystery to solve, and things take some crazy turns. This is a well written, superhero mystery with unexpected twists, danger, suspense, and so much more. Masks and Murder is a great addition to the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
