Great short stories from church members on a variety of subjects. A nice little heart-lift. And less cheesy than I had anticipated.

I have recently realized that I LOVE to read and hear other people’s stories. I have also realized that there are good places and bad places to seek these stories. This book is one of the good places. It definitely is aimed toward the Latter-Day Saint audience, but I think that can be inferred from the title. I felt totally uplifted and encouraged. My only wish so that there was a more updated version. This one is 15+ years old!

Contributing in this book was one of my favorite things never happened to me; I always liked to write, but my story published?! I was shocked to find out that my story was actually chosen to be part of a group of wonderful stories. Since then I have been keeping up with writing, my profession is Physical Therapist, but after becoming a stay home mother, writing has taken a great part of my daily life. I cannot stop!

Not as corny as I expected. The only Chicken Soup book I've ever read.
