I was so glad to be involved in the book tour for this. Its very close to my heart as I too am a caregiver.

It was lovely to read a first hand honest account of a caregivers feelings at times. Because the care support class I used to go to, everyone said how 'rewarding' it is to be a carer. They talked about the good happy times.

Rodger is sick, but he’s not alone. Bobbi and Mike take him into their home and as his condition worsens with age, Bobbi takes on his care. This book takes us on an incredible journey that does not shrink from pointing out the inadequacies of health care system (especially the VA system) as well as the very human weaknesses of both the family members and the professionals.
Bobbi Carducci has done an amazing job of making what could have been a depressing woe-is-me story into a book that pulls the
