Very glad this ended largely optimistically, will have to catch up on how things have progressed since the publication of the book and also start eating a lot more local foods!

A lot of interesting stuff, but it felt unnecessarily long and repetitive.

This is the kind of book that I would like to keep at my desk at all times. The book talks about everything from the history of fuels and requirement of fuels to where we are right now. The different options which could save our planet and how we could achieve a sustainable future.
