“The woman I take to my bed is the one I’ll marry. And since you dragged me to yours, you’ll spend the rest of your life in mine.”

Emily never knew Sebastian Graves—her brother’s best friend and the ruthless president of Empire Group—had been obsessing over her for ten years.

After a heartbreak with her ex, Lucas Cantrell, she gives in to a reckless night with Sebastian. But he’s not the kind of man who walks away after just one night.

By morning, she’s Mrs. Graves.

“I’ve waited a decade to touch you. Do you really think I’ll let another man even breathe near you?”

Now, Sebastian won’t let her out of his lap. Every night, she trembles beneath him.

He drowns her in pleasure, buries her in affection, and gives her everything she never asked for.

The man who finally claimed his favorite woman after a decade is insatiable—possessive beyond reason and addicted to keeping her close.

Lucas is unraveling.

The love he took for granted is gone, and rumors are swirling that she belongs to Sebastian now.

He’s still waiting for her to return… but fear is creeping in darker than ever before.

What if Emily really doesn’t love him anymore?

Emily has just gotten out of the worst relationship after nearly dying. When Sebastian finds out that Emily and Lucas are finally done, he makes his move. His move being marriage. But Lucas can’t seem to give up on what he took for granted and the woman he treated like dirt. But regrets don’t fix the betrayal and abuse she suffered, nor will it erase the words Lucas spoke.

I read the series out of order, reading book 4 first. That didn’t affect the story as each trilogy is completely separate. The first series is much better than the second as the second need serious editing.

While I liked the series, this isn’t something that is masterpiece and has editing issues but the storyline itself is enjoyable if you like a grovel. It doesn’t read like a book from the US, but more like one you would find on Dreame or one of those similar sites. That being said I did enjoy it. It was a pretty quick read. It has lots of smex and steam. I did read the next book in the series and enjoyed it. Just not a must read.

Ava Selwyn is excellent at writing steamy love stories that involve triangle connections, are angst filled and sometimes have danger lingering in the background. Her newest book won’t disappoint her devoted readers. Sebastian Graves sat back for ten years, waiting for his opportunity to snare Emily Crawford. When her long-time relationship with another man falls apart, Sebastian moves with the speed of light and marries her the following day. As in any good romance story there is a villain and a hero. Sebastian is obviously the hero. In this story the villain is the woman, a jealous viper, who is determined to replace Emily with the ex-boyfriend. I loved this book but I thought it ended too abruptly and could have included a bit more to the story. All in all, it is a really good read and I recommend it.

Trash.
Author needs to work on Emily's moaning while having sex. Because it's "Ahhhh" after "Ahhh" after "Ahhh... sebestian.. aghhh." Like I'm skimming through pages and all I see is "Ahhh."

There's nothing happening except bad smut in this one tbh. It's chapter after chapter about bad sex. They don't even talk much to each other if they're not kissing or having sex. And if they do talk, it's just useless stuff. Seb is like a sex addict or something.

Lucas is still a piece of shit and abusive. No character growth in him or Emily. The storyline is all the same. Amelia needs to be more interesting or change her tactics.

I want to read the 4th book in the series so I'll definitely finish this trilogy.

could have been great

The first book of the series wasn’t terrible it kept me a little hooked by the second book cousin/brother Harold was introduced and his character acted like an 11-year-old mentally handicapped person

And halfway through the book most characters were acting ridiculous it was hard to finish

As an example Harold the cousin/brother had to go into the hospital and the doctor gave in to him demanding Emily bandage his head. Emily is a jewellery designer there’s nothing to do at the hospital and he goes oh the patient wants you to bandage his head I guess that’s what’s gonna happen

Every character turned ridiculous and silly

Needless to say the second book was a huge disappointment

Confusing

Not sure why I’m still reading this trilogy. Guess it’s just my need to see it thru. Not sure if English is author’s first language because some things just don’t make sense. I love grovel romance but there’s nothing romantic about this. First book the MMC was abusive and just plain stupid. You want to cheer when she finally escapes to this books MMC. Nope. He’s sexually abusive. It’s not sexy how he uses sex, and quite frankly, I’m now skimming past those scenes. Maybe author is a male or in an abusive relationship that she thinks those scenes are normal. I find it awful. And Harold? Is he a cousin or a brother, it keeps changing. This is not a Good Read.

This is book two of the trilogy. And things are getting so good! The relationship between Sebastian and Emily is wild, passionate and they seriously "go at it" all the time. Sebastian is insatiable and I love it. Emily is the luckiest woman. Her ex boyfriend Lucas is so mad and jealous and he totally deserves it for the way he treated Emily. He needs to grow a spine. Sebastian who had always been secretly in love with Emily swooped in and took what he wanted. I can't wait to see what happens in book three. These are the kind of stories you can't put down.

So its was ok but once again it feels like one of those Reel Shorts mini series... It was a bit confusing at time because sometimes Harold was a cousin and on the next paragraph he was a brother.

Also I don't understand how Lucas can just forget she broke up with him all throughout book 1 and said it again in book2... The drama is a bit exaggerated as well as the spice scene... A bit too much and very unrealistic in my opinion.

The writing felt almost robotic sometimes. The only reason why I read book 2 is because I don't like not finishing a serie lol

This series is not for the faint hearted.
My 4⭐ is rated based on the humorous grovelling that’s stretched onto the entire length of this book, by Lucas. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a good revenge that needs 3 books to cover his great regret. And the love-connection between Emily & Sebastian is fine. Fiery, spicy and sweet. If you’re up for straight-forward romance.

And if we just move past the repetitive paragraphs and insanely-detailed shmex scenes - it’s a good refresher for after an intense series.

Lucas

Still in the dark and wrapped up in his own delusion of a relationship he doesn’t want to accept as being over. Lucas is still not putting Amelia in her place and still blames Emily for all the chaos that ensues, even when he causes it himself.

Emily moving on with Sebastian is interesting and has a lot of insatiable intimacy.

Some of the men’s actions come off as not just possessive but obsessive as well.

Author needs a better editor or a person to proofread before printing - some actions and locations are not in sync.

The plot was fast moving and well put together. As it moved from book to book, there was giant change and flowed well.
Will I reread? YES
Would I change anything? NO

Where the first book had a really good set for the ground of the second book, the second book was a total letdown. There was hardly any details of any of the characters and it was rough to read with all of editing mistakes and jumping around in story. I really wanted to read and enjoy it but i couldn’t get through it. I kept asking myself about little details and moments that seemed to be missing and just not there.

What even was this like there was no plot or bui up with the main characters which I thought they would have because last book they didn’t and it was just bad like I dnf idk how much but It felt like a lot. This story was literally smut, fight with her ex, smut, fight with her ex and it was just a ongoing cycle, the first book had potential that i was hoping to see in this book but now both of them r one stars to me so ya

Really bad and confusing

This is the second it the series and it’s only slightly better than the first. I don’t think it was edited. The author can’t decide if Sebastian’s brother is his brother or his cousin and she drops people’s thoughts about what is going on randomly. The guy who has a crush on her calls her Ms. Emily instead of her name. Who does that anymore?? If you like sex about 75% of the book is just that. Actually got bored and just skimmed through

This book had no twists just a lot of intimate and sexual content.
This would definitely a book where both men had obsessive personalities and seems to see the main female character as their possession. Both alpha males with the same traits.. it would have been nice to have seen a few twists to the book however as this is only book 2 I might be premature in branding this book as boring - (however didn’t stop me from reading the steamy book)

This is the second book in the Possessive Billionaires, Precious Sweethearts trilogy. This one is Sebastian’s story. He and Lucas are obsessed with Emily, but in different ways! Lucas is delusional! This romance kept me reading non-stop. So much drama, chaos, passion, deceit, suspense, spice and undying love. A amazing page turner!

Writing errors

The one thing that drives me crazy in books is finding SIMPLE errors that should have been caught. There were some instances where they seemed to forget where the scene was taking place and then said something that didn’t make sense to where they previously just were. However, it was a decent book.

good grief I hate to bash an author's writing but this is some of the worst I've ever read. I think the author might be ten years old. idk how I even got this far. the premise of the story is good which is why I stuck around but I just can't anymore.
there is zero character development, zero relationship development, zero story development. you name it, it's not there.

Better than the others

Overall, it's better than the rest of the books. It still needs editing. There are so many inconsistencies. She had a high neck dress, and later, it was thin straps. She had no clothes, then a nightdress. Pulled me out of the story. I'll read the last in the trilogy but probably won't read more.

Its better to skip the series. The characters are badly written, reminds of short skits thats advertised in insta and utube.
You dont get connected with ny character.
The main leads have billions in networth and act like frat/brat boys.
For no apparent reason all the men like Fmc. 🤦‍♀️

Just skip it.

Same as the other. If you want trashy, poorly written, OTT daily motion Kdrama/soap opera in a book this is it! It's enjoyable if you arent expecting a real story or any non wild outcomes 😂
Its great for when you are in a mood where your brain cant handle a real story and you need nonsense to entertain you

More sex than plot

Sebastián is a whipped man for his wife for he got her to marry him by the power of orgasms. In this one Emily has men flirting with her. Lucas is spiraling. Amelia is trying to up her manipulation game and Emily just wants to live her life...and orgasms.
Family is told....after a series of events.

Better than first book

Was really disappointed with first book. This one was a bit better. But again, how can people be so back stabbing? Amelia and Lucas just need to stop and go away, then this could have been one book instead if three. Hopefully 3rd book will be best of the three.

Emily has never had anyone to care for her until she meets Sebastian, her brother's best friend. Lucas never really took proper care of her, yet he still refuses to let her go. Then Sebastian and Emily secretly get married. This book is packed with twists and turns—can't wait for the third one!

Personality transplants

It's like the main characters are completely different people in this book. I hope book 3 gets back on track but I'm doubtful. I only finished this book bc I read the first one & I can't stand open ends.

This is a fun trashy romance novel. If you are reading this for some intellectual awakening, this is the wrong book. Overall it’s okay the writing is pretty easy-to-follow and the plot is set out like a kdrama.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was written by AI

Definitely a “hate” read. Entertaining in a how much more ridiculous can this get way. It sounds like it was written by someone who never had a conversation with a human.

I just skimmed to get the basics, but I'm pretty convinced this is either fully AI or it was used for the bulk of the story. Allegedly. Just my opinion, not an accusation. It's just like one of those ppc stories, over-the-top drama with the OW and ex-H that use AI.
