First off, the book was written in 1908 and seemed much longer than the 120 pages listed in my Kindle. Second, I had never heard of Commodore Barry, which is surprising considering his significant contribution to the Revolutionary War as well as the founding of the U.S. Navy. His life is due for a more modern biography as his exploits, if not true, would seem unbelievable.
