Great info from a good source. Gives some good insight into the practice and theory of using a community based approach to therapy, especially in a family setting. Hopefully this will help me in my new job.

The book is a good source of understanding of the solution focused approach, as it is written by one of the people who have developed this therapy: Insoo Kim Berg. The downside of this particular title is that is it focused primarily on the use of the therapy in social service settings. It will be helpful if you work in Child protective services for example, but less relevant in private practice. It is still a good base to learn more about the therapy from the original author.
