Guardian Wolf (Black Mesa Wolves #1) – J.K. Harper
Hot! It was time for Lily to let her wolf out to play, and once she made up her mind, wow! Did things ever heat up in a hurry. Kieran has waited for two years to stake his claim on Lily, so when she starts to make her way over to him, he knew his wait was just about over.
Great story with even better characters, this short is the beginning of what promises to be an awesome series. Looking forward to part two.
Alpha Wolf (Black Messa Wolves #2) – J.K. Harper
Wow! And I though the first book in the series was hot! I think a fire extinguisher should come with this book. Hot and steamy, this couple are sizzling off the grill in spades. What’s a guy supposed to do when his mate refuses your advances. Rafe has been waiting for over a year for Sara to realize she’s his mate, yet still she denies it. His frustration is mounting, as is hers. She doesn’t even know why she’s reluctant to claim him as her mate. His patience is running thin as she tries to figure herself out, as she feels the need to prove herself worthy of her pack.
Ms. Harper has taken this series to a new level with this book. Her plot is packed full of excitement, suspense and overflowing of hot sexy shifters. Awesome read and looking forward to the next episode. Loved it!
A Wolf in Geek’s Clothing – Amelia Faulkner
What a different take on shifters! I loved this! I totally loved the fact that Sauri is so wild, yet not savage and has to learn the ways of the humans in order to survive, and the fact that Ryan has to learn the ways of a shifter to do the same. Two hunks from two different worlds, yet fate has brought them together for a higher purpose. Awesome story that is totally different than any other I have read, with characters that will have you eating out of their hands in no time at all. Great job!
Claiming Their Royal Mate, Part One - Andie Devaux
Weretiger unknown! Loved this. Unknown to her, Daniella is a weretiger ripe for her change and coming into heat. Owen, put in position to protect her by his prime, Erick, until he could claim her, knows she’s his mate, yet still keeps her safe for Erick. From thinking she’s a normal human to being introduced to not only were beings but other paranormals she thought only existed in myths, Daniella finds it very difficult to grasp everything that is happening to her and around her. What will happen now? Will she stay with Owen, or will she go with Erick? Full of intrigue and lots of action, this is a definite must read. Looking forward to part 2. Be prepared, this is a cliffhanger
Her Master’s Corruption – J.E. & M. Keep
A little bit of darkness in the paranormal world of faeries, trolls and elves. The authors have given us a new take on the lives and loves of the underworld’s “little people”. Totally different from most stories I have read, this book requires your total attention, but is worth every page read. A bit on the dark side, with a little BDSM twisted around the tale, Lhea finds she only wants to be with Master, her captor whom she has been tortured and “blackened” by. After being rescued from his clutches, all she wants to do is return to him. Her heart has been stolen by him and he’s all she wants.
Well written, you won’t want to put it down once you start.

Ughhhh! A cliff hanger to end all cliff hangers. What an intense story this is. My only disappointment is that it is only part one of the series. Full of suspense and intrigue, this book will have you hanging on the edge of your seat, biting your fingernails, as it unfolds. Will Serena make the right move? Will she tell Connor who has control over her, or will she continue to follow the orders of Samuel, hoping to free herself and her sister Charlotte? OMG! I so need the next part of this series. So many unanswered questions. Extremely well written. This is the first story from Ms. Raines that I have read, and I can assure you, it won’t be the last.
Alphas Divided, Part 1 – Jamie Klaire
Wow! What a great start to a series. What do teenage girls do on their 18th birthday? They find trouble! What they don’t know is what is waiting for them! OMG this is an awesome story. I love the plot so far. The author has certainly thought this one out and found a way to apply it to “paper” so to speak. My only complaint is that it is only part 1 of 3. Can’t wait to read the rest.
Touched by the Dragon Lord (Braving Darkness 4) Book One – Scarlett Grove
If you are looking for something a bit different, this is the book for you. With the plot set in a post-apocalyptic setting, which involves aliens and the trigger of WWIII, this story tells of human transformations, death and lots of the paranormal, be it zombies, witches or shifters of all kinds. Something is triggered within them both when Circe and Xavier touch for the first time. Both fall into a form of fever, yet deal with it in different ways. As they make their way to safety, they encounter a wood dryad along the way, who gives them a bit of a prophecy that they will have to follow. Even though apocalypse stories are not my favourite genre, I loved this story. Be prepared though, as it ends in a cliffhanger, as this is only part one. I am looking forward to the next part!
Becoming His Mate: Douglas Mountain Shifters – Lillian Dante
What an awesome way to end the anthology. A great story of how, when we try to change our fate, we sometimes do more harm than not. The story of Cole and Heather travels from their highschool love affair to now, almost ten years later. This “shifter” tale has numerous twists that will have you scratching your head and sitting on the edge of your chair, as we take in another different view on their ways. Between the shifters and the warriors, and the wars they have had and will have, this is a tale you won’t want to put down until it’s over.
All of the authors in this anthology have tremendous imaginations that allow yours to soar right there beside them. Truly an awesome read

Great introduction to this house of writers
This series of books is a great way to pick out a new favorite author. I was very surprised to find a story about gay werewolves. The stories are well developed with fine characterization. Most of stories are five star with one or two four star ratings. Adult readers only

Got this for a $1. I really liked several stories in this and will definitely be looking up more from those authors. That's one of the things I love about box sets like these. They are usually a $1 and I get introduced to new talent. That's a win-win in my book.

More part ones that had no conclusion - only cliffhangers. This annoys me. Especially when it doesn't specify before you start the novella. I would have passed on the whole bundle of I knew this.

If I have to explain why I choose this rating I have to say it is a very good book to read but the editor should have proofread the story. There are so many added words and words that should not in use.

What A Mixture of Shifters and Alphas!
It was great to read such a variety of great stories from so many different and great authors! I stopped many times after reading a story and found and read all their sequels. Thanks for the great stories!
