When a threat came to Cyborg Alpha Planet, they need a strategist to keep their safety. CyborgEvolution is still a problem to them and that’s how they came to the plan to kidnap Talia Reeds, who worked in military.
Rune is a defense commender who needs help, but he fell for his mission. Honestly, this is why I dropped 1⭐️ - the falling in love, the instant attraction were a bit off. Too quickly the feelings were evolving besides the 1st book where it seemed the actions were less fast peaced. I wanted more struggling between them, more actions. I get these books aren’t that long, but it was nice to have more of the feelings.
I fell in love with this series, I am obsessed with them. I finished the 1st book, “Human Required”, as fast as this one. The authors are doing a really good job expanding this universe. It was nice to meet again Aeon and Olive. 🤩
3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 1.5 🌶️. This book opens in a festive and winter December on earth where we meet Talia. Once again this poor human woman is abducted by mysterious military men with uniform wearing an Alpha planet symbol. This appears to be set 3 years after captain Talia was suddenly and honourably discharged from the military after discovering files she maybe shouldn’t have about our infamous cyber tech company.
This book is set 6 months after the first and focuses on a new duo. Talia and Rune. But characters from the first book appear in this, so you would want to read their story first to not get spoilers.
I didn’t feel as much of a connection with Rune and Talia as I did with Olivia and Aeon. Their connection was very insta-love and happened very early on. Not sure what it was I just didn’t connect with them quite as well. I also found some parts of the story repetitive and with a few inconsistencies.
I liked that the book had an addition to the main story of the first book with almost a new bad guy/mission against these pirates. My head went to the space pirates from treasure planet! Probably not the same vibes tho.
Favourite quotes:
“It was desperate and hungry, a way to pout everything I couldn’t say into her. The promise that I’d protect her, the fear of losing her, the hope that maybe, just maybe, we could build something real in this chaotic, broken world”
“Ten miles in twenty minutes was possible if I maintained top speed” it’s 30mph for those wondering 😂
I enjoyed the story again and the follow on for our precious planet alpha community but I would have liked a better connection with the main characters.
This book was kindly sent to me to advanced read (ARC) from the author and the wings & words community. This review is being left voluntarily and is my honest opinion.
Thanks to the authors and Wings & Words for the opportunity to read this book. My first cyborg romance and I wasn’t disappointed. This was a nice blend of sci-fi and romantic storyline. I admit I hadn’t read book one and just took a risk going straight into number two; based on other reviews I can see things were recapped in the first 30% of the book and so don’t think I missed too much of the origin story. We are the other end of the spectrum to a slow burn and so the pace felt quick. I quite enjoyed that there wasn’t a lot of tactical detail going on and it focus more on the main characters and their journey.
This is the second book and I recommend reading the first to follow the story line of the characters I loved this story line romance and danger and proactive is rune over his planet and Talia both characters evolve in this book and I really enjoyed reading these books looking forward to the next book if there is one😊 it’s blossoming story line
I really enjoyed this book. The story of Rune and Talia was well written, and flowed well with book one. In saying that, I feel like it was very similar to book one, in terms of how the story begins. I loved the ending and the spice was mild, but great! I also liked how book two carried on and we keep finding out more about CyberEvolution! Really enjoyed and will definitely be looking out for the next instalment!

Thank you to wings and words , Celia Kyle and Anne hale for allowing me to arc review this book. I really enjoyed this book, loved the characters and the world building was good. I devoured it in 2 days. There is action, drama, romance and danger through this book and I recommend you read it.
Such a fun sequel to the first book! This was a lovely read, beautiful world building, fun characters, an action packed plot! I really enjoyed this book and definitely enjoyed how it continued on from the first book! I would’ve loved a bit more of a struggle or some hesitation from the FMC in the beginning or perhaps for it to happen over a longer time frame? But I do love how she joked about Stockholm syndrome, I found that very honest and funny! Thank you wings and words for this super fun arc read!
im so glad to have gotten a sequel to book one. again this was a really enjoyable read. the world building was good, the characters were likeable, and the book kept my attention well. a continuance to the first one i enjoyed it. there was action, danger, drama, and romance.
I never read the first one before starting this but I didn’t feel like I was missing information which I loved. There was great explanation on the world and how they came be, I can see where the first book would’ve stopped and this one started so I’m intrigued to read the others.
This books follows Rune and Talia and how they come together to protect Planet Alpha from a serious threat.
The storyline is pretty fast but very enjoyable. I was excited to get stuck back in each day which I think says a lot! This was my first cyborg romance and I definitely will be adding this vibe to my tbr!
I’d also like to thank the authors and Wings & Words for the opportunity to read this book.
This is book two of the "Cyborg Alpha Planet" series, and is interconnected, and we get a pleasant surprise appearance from Olivia and Aeon who're from the first book, so I would highly recommend you read that first - wouldn't want any spoilers.
Meet Talia, our bad-ass FMC, who used to be in the army two years ago, after being suddenly discharged, and now spends every Christmas by herself. Her friend/fellow colleague wants her to move on, go on dates, be happy, and make her promise to think about it whilst leaving Talia to close up for work. Wanting to get home as soon as possible so she's not caught in the snowstorm that's sure to come heads for her car and doesn't notice two dark silhouettes behind her, both dressed in advanced, futuristic tactical gear and an emblem on their collars. But wait, one of them addresses her by her title. She's quickly administered a sedative, and she's forces her to begin to fall into a deep sleep, but not before she recognises the emblem... When she's awake, she's told someone is using her exact strategies carrying out the most heinous missions on Planet Alpha. Will she help? And how did they get their hands on her strategies? And what happens when forbidden romance threatens to take root...
Talia is our fearless, fiery FMC, and from the get-go, I already take a liking to her. She's not your average damsel in distress and knows what she wants. Finding herself on an Alien spaceship, you think she would be a sobbing wreck, right? Not her. She speaks up, demands questions, and thinks quickly on her feet. In comes our MMC and the Training Commander, Rune, a cyborg made of hard rippling muscles and machine! Who is as possessive as he is protective of her. He falls for her first and hard, promising to keep her for himself. Don't we appreciate a man who admires his girl as well? Yes, we f*cking do!
There is more spice in this one in comparison, and I sure did blush. The chemistry between both FMC and MMC is beautifully portrayed, and I do prefer 'insta-loves' more. Their instant connection is sizzling - slow-burns p*ss me off - and the intimate scenes are HAWT AS HELL. I feel like I was literally like this: 👀🍿 as a fly on the wall and didn't blink once in case I miss something. And I know Rune is written for Talia, but I feel like he was flirting with ME throughout the entire book. I is Talia, Talia is I - in my head. Period.
I won't lie the surprise twist at the end made my eyes tear up a little. What a heartwarming ending. I love that! Sage and Tegan are so fun. Their banter and camaraderie with each other is wholesome. And the way Sage and Talia get along is lovely! The rest of the side characters were interesting, too - some less, I want to smack the life out of them. It's action-packed, fast-paced, and keeps you hooked from start to end. The world building is lively, immersive, and imaginative! The plot-line pulls you in, transitions from chapter to chapter seamlessly, and the pacing doesn't drag. A perfect little sci-fi romance!
“I was designed for war, programmed to lead, to fight, and to strategize. No one ever thought to program me for this—for the way my heart races when you enter a room or how your smile makes everything else fade away. I never imagined feeling this… human… until you.”
The cyborgs only want to live in peace but CyberEvolution keeps lurking in the shadows. Now a new danger threatens Planet Alpha, pirates are targgeting pregnant cyborgs and hybrid children. Rune, the security commander comes to Earth and kidnappes Talia ,a brilliant strategist now retired. Their attraction is instant but she resents the kidnapping. But as they work together, respect and admiration grows and feelings develop.
Beautifully written, perfecly balanced and well executed. The author's knew how to keep the reader in a full engagement with a blend of heartwarming and thrilling story ,well developed characters that pull all your emotions and a rich and complex overarching plot . Don't want to give away to much but before the dangerous attack by the pirates, Rune leaves a heartbreaking message to Talia that left me clutching my chest and tears in my eyes. Highly recomend this series, the second book and already shows to be Epic!
I was lucky enough to be apart of the ARC team for this, so thank you Celia Kyle and Beth at Wings & Words for the opportunity!!
Human Reclaimed is the second instalment in the Cyborg Planet Alpha series and it hit just as much! This is such a fun, easy read that has, action, a little suspense and romance. It is definitely on the mild 🌶️ scale but you do get a dash of spice!
This book follows Talia and Rune on their journey to protect Planet Alpha from the latest threat. With Talia's tactical know how can she help Rune and his planet survive the looming doom or will the world as they know it crash and burn taking them with it?
This is a fast pace book, however I did feel like I was reading a copy of the first book, especially for the first half. It did change into its own, but there were still a lot of similarities. This did't take away from my enjoyment of it, I still loved it and would recommend! I did thoroughly enjoy the twist and cannot wait to see how that turns out! I think this book is well written and flows easily, I will definitely be eager to read the rest!
I enjoyed this book. It pulled me in and held my attention from beginning to end. This book starts off with a bang with Rune coming to Earth and kidnapping Talia. Talia is a retired strategist. She used to work for the US military until she was discharged with little to no explanation. Now her strategies are being used against the cyborgs and they need her, so they take her. There is a connection pretty much instantly between Rune and Talia, but Talia isn't happy about being kidnapped so is trying to maintain some distance. She decides to help them and as they work together, the respect grows between them and feelings start to develop. I found the characters and the story engaging and really enjoyed delving into this one. It was written well and flowed at a good pace and smooth. The book is at a faster pace which makes sense with the premise and the set up of the story so it never felt rushed. It had a good balance of building story and character/relationship. I'm excited to see where the series goes! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Cyborg Planet Alpha Series by @Author Celia Kyle Human Reclaimed is book 2 in the series!!! My review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thanks to @Wings & Words for revealing this book and series to me. I ADORE the CPA Series. The first book was a straight 5 ⭐️ for me. Unfortunately this one seemed I dunno. Lacking for a better use of word? The "battle" was over before it started...there was more detailing and indepthness to their prep than the actual fight, when it came down to it. Then boom. Done and the person responsible under military arrest with claims the heads of company "didnt know" about it. There could have been alot more indepthness within the story. Overall, I did enjoy the story as always. And the Cyborg finds love theme that runs through these stories. It would have been 3 star but because I throughly enjoyed this series the flat line starts at 3 stars for this particular series.. #planetalpha #cyborg #celiakyle #scifiromance

A promising 2nd in the series that stumbles early but redeems itself with heartfelt character growth and a satisfying conclusion.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ – 3 Stars Title: Human Reclaimed Authors: Celia Kyle & Anne Hale
Thanks to the authors and the Wings & Words ARC community for the opportunity to ARC read Human Reclaimed and continue my journey into the Cyborg Planet Alpha series.
The first 20% felt almost like a carbon copy of Human Required, which was honestly disappointing. We needed more evolution, less déjà vu. The relationship between Rune and Talia also moved so fast, and the entire saga wrapped in a couple of weeks. This story really needed a bit more tension and yearning to lay the groundwork for some strong emotional depth.
That said, the last 30% completely turned things around. The story tightened, the stakes rose, and I found myself genuinely invested again. Talia was a standout. She handled her situation with clarity and strength, exactly how I wished Olivia had in Book 1. It was incredibly satisfying to have an FMC take charge.
Rune, though? Absolute perfection. His growth and devotion to Talia were beautifully written. I also loved that some of the intimate scenes came from his POV. More authors should do that, as it adds so much depth.
While the tactical discussions could have been trimmed and the story felt familiar early on, the closing act made it a solid and enjoyable read overall. I am looking forward to seeing how the next instalment expands the world of Cyborg Planet Alpha, especially after how the next story looked to be setting up at the end.
I enjoyed this book - the 2nd book of the series, which follows Talia & Rune as they look to protect Planet Alpha from Pirates!
I found the story development & pace of the book was a bit slow to begin with, as tactical scenes were played out, mainly because the seemed to be repeated from the 1st book, but as you moved into the 2nd half of the book the paced really picked up & the storyline rocketed.
The character development was fabulous, Talia's inner strength & the portrayal of Rune's devotion to Talia *chefs Kiss*, plus the added intriguing morsels that were divulged on the infamous CyberEvolution, really peaked my interest in wanting to know more, so I eagerly await to see how that develops within future books of the series.
I enjoyed this book. It kept me interested from beginning to end. Talia Reed was discharged from the military after she received some controversial documents. No explanation. No justification. Just out. Now she's been abducted. But there's a really good reason. The cyborgs on Planet Alpha need her help. Yes, cyborgs. They need her military expertise to protect their people from being abducted. It doesn't take long to convince Talia of the real threat and she agrees to help. She gets a little something in return from her abductor Rune.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary review.
The ending of this one really bumped it up to a full 5 stars for me. The action in the third act had my heart pounding, and that last chapter (chef's kiss), I was tearing up. These stories have all the action typical of a sci-fi novel and the fluff of a small-town romance. It was so sweet how they seem to feel a sort of recognition, which leads to a fiery whirlwind romance that I just love, and you only typically see in fated mate novels. I'm a sucker for near insta love. This one was spicier than the first, another plus, and that last spice scene is H O T Something will have to be done about the evil cyber corporation, which leads into an exciting hook for future installments.
Fab read, really enjoyed reading this book, it is the second book in the series, though they are stand alone they have some characters mentioned from book 1 so if you can I would recommend reading the first book too. Its a paranormal romance that is based on planet alpha. It is a book that talks about the evolution of cyborgs and freedom and I really enjoyed the story, had a few plot twists along the way and a sprinkling a spice but not much. The MMC and FMC were great and I enjoyed reading their story. I would definitely add to your TBR.
A pair of brilliant, blue eyes, and a stinging jab in her neck are the last things Talia Reed remembers before waking up in the medical bay on an alien planet. Kidnapped as a tactical asset, she never expected to find herself joining forces with the cyborgs to defend their settlement, or falling in love with one of them.
Brilliant action and sweet, steamy cyborg romance. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
This a great story, there is so much going on right from the start, and once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Rune and Talia have an attraction but things are changing fast. They learn to trust one another and defend Plant Alpha. I wonder who will get the next book. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it
This was another exciting addition to the series and it really started off with a bang and didn't look back ;) Talia, a retired strategist, gets kidnapped by Rune to help defend planet Alpha. Expect to get caught up in the action, drama, danger, and sweet and steamy romance as they work their way to a fab HEA. Definitely a page turner and I'm looking forward to the next book :D
I like this story. This time the cyborgs kidnapped a former military strategist. With the colony under attack by pirates, the cyborgs look to defeat them by kidnapping the person whose strategies they are using. Talia is quick to let go of her anger once she realize that it is innocents who are being taken.
I love this book! Although the start was very very similar to book one and had me double checking I was reading the correct book but further in its very different. Mildly spicy but with a great storyline that evolves throughout the book!
The ending is intense! I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen and ended up devouring the book as I was so engrossed!
another amazing book in this series. I really enjoyed reading this book. this book had hooked to see what happens next, taila and runes relationship moved quick but is super strong. the storyline had me hooked and was nice to read about past characters also. hope there's another book soon
this was a really good read! i enjoyed the character development and the story and it was nice to see the progression of the community in this story. full of romance, and tension and drama!
I knew early on that this was a 5☆ read unless something dramatic happened. I loved the writing, which is easy to read, the character growth, the world building doesn't bog the story down. Talia and Rune's connection and emotional exploration with each other and the community makes for a great read. Then there were the tears. Looking forward to reading more about Planet Alpha.
