The last person Ivy expected to fall for was Santa.
Ivy is charmed when she meets Nick at a party and is willing to trust her heart and give him a chance. At least until she discovers her newest contract is working for his company, and there are strict rules about fraternising with clients.
Nick has two goals during the festive season, to make sure the children get their toys, and to share the Christmas cheer with those around him. He never expected to have his heart captured by the beautiful elf now working for him.
As the sparks begin to fly, the two of them realise that some things don't listen to the rules and that Christmas magic will always find a way.

Sleigh Rides with St. Nick was the book I was reading during a very stressful move. Luckily this book was easy to get into and was just the type of sweet easy read that was perfect to read during this time.
This was such a sweet romance. I liked reading about Ivy and how she falls for Nick. They meet at a party and then later Ivy realizes Nick is the new client she's doing marketing work for, despite her contract forbidding romance they grow closer. These two were so sweet together and I liked reading about them and getting to know them better and seeing them open up to the other. The sleigh ride scene was great and I also liked the way the author gave Nick some backstory about why he gave out presents and how that came to be. I thought it was fun how St. Nick or Santa Claus is considered a god in this universe as that fit with the way gods works in this universe. I just wish the book was a bit longer as I would've liked a bit more and see their romance deepen. The epilogue was a nice addition.
There are a few mentions of other characters from previous books in the series, which was fun. This series has been so much fun so far. The books are light and easy to pick up with sweet romances with a bit of steam.
To summarize: I really enjoyed this book. It was the perfect read for during my stressful move as it's easy to get into and has a sweet romance. I liked Ivy and Nick and seeing them fall for each other. I liked getting to know the characters and seeing them grow closer. Their romance was sweet with a bit of steam. I would've liked a few more scenes of seeing their romance deepen toward the end. The epilogue was great and showed a glimpse of their future.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sassy, sweet, and just the right dash of steamy—Santa, you can jingle my bells anytime.
Look, I may sound like a broken record, but if loving Laura Greenwood is wrong, I don’t want to be right. Her books are my literary comfort blanket—yes, the metaphorical equivalent of my Charlie Brown blankie, thank you very much. When the world gets too dark, my TBR list too angsty, or my reading mood starts resembling a Victorian ghost child, I reach for Greenwood. And Sleigh Rides With St. Nick? Oh honey, it delivers exactly what I ordered: festive fluff, paranormal pizzazz, and a romance so charming even the Grinch would blush.
This isn’t your average “ho-ho-holiday” romp. No, here we’ve got urban romantasy vibes wrapped in tinsel and sass, with a St. Nick who’s equal parts heartthrob and heartwarming. The characters? Utterly delightful. We’re talking jolly with a side of flirty, and positivity that doesn’t make your teeth ache. It's like Laura popped open a bottle of literary Prosecco—light, bubbly, and just a touch naughty.
The plot glides along like a sleigh over fresh snow: smooth, fun, and over far too soon. And while the steam level is more mistletoe tease than fireplace inferno, there's just enough heat to keep your cocoa warm.
In short: if your soul needs a balm, your bookshelf needs this book. It's funny, it's charming, and it’ll have you grinning like an elf on espresso. Just be warned—you will want to read another Greenwood book immediately after. But honestly? That’s the best gift of all.
A wonderfully sweet romance continuing the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency series, with gods and mythology from round the world mixing. The god realm is fun to picture, a Greek temple next to a Chinese shrine, an Italian restaurant and Hade's night club "The Underworld". The idea of ancient gods dating in the modern world is also great. The story is lighthearted with plenty of humor, and there are some lovely heartfelt scenes between the main characters as they try to find a way round the clause in her contract.
Ivy had just gone to the Jinx mixer with friends for fun, but after being abandoned by them she's approached by a handsome silver haired stranger and they swap numbers before she has to save her friend from Zeus.
Nick only went to the mixers for the food, though he had to admit the company at the most recent one was good and he was looking forward to seeing her again, he just didn't expect her to be his next meeting as his new marketing consultant. His aim is to ensure children get their toys and share the Christmas cheer as the Lord of Misrule, he never expected to find love along the way with the elf now working with him. But can they find a way to make it work until her contract is over as there's a clause about 'no fraternising with the client' and he doesn't want her to lose her job.

SLEIGH RIDES WITH ST. NICK is the eleventh book in the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency series by Laura Greenwood. This particular story is about St. Nick (aka Santa) and Ivy, an elf. Get ready for a slow build to their steamy get-together and an unexpected romance.
Nick and Ivy met at a couple of Jinx events and decided to go on a date. Before the date, Nick has a meeting with a new marketing agent. Ivy's day starts with being introduced to her new client. And it's all downhill from there.
Ivy's company has a no fraternizing clause in it. A date with her new client could cost Ivy her much needed job.

"...if they have enough followers, they become a god."
Ivy ends up at a Jinx dating event by accident, and meets a charming man who she clicks with... someone who understands her and communicates the way she does. Unfortunately, a few days later she discovers he is off-limits when it comes to dating -- but they can get to know one another, and be friends, there's no harm in that.
This done in one solid stand alone quick read blends a story about good people doing the right thing simply because it is right with a sweet interplay between between a marketing consultant and a CEO who wants people to buy his product for "good" reasons, not because of gimmicks, etc. There is a honesty to these characters that makes them interesting and inviting. They aren't perfect, not necessarily idealistic, perhaps hopeful that good and right can be enough. Their hope kept me turning the pages, wanting to see how their story unfolded.
I received an ARC copy from the author and though not required to post a review, I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression after reading it.
This was a light- hearted short read you can do in a couple of hours. It’s about an elf who goes to a party and is attracted to a man who she finds out in a day or so is her next client in help in her job. The only thing is she can’t date her clients though her heart says she wants to. He feels the same way so do they follow the rules or their hearts? What will it mean when she realizes he is Santa!
I enjoyed this story and highly recommend it! Outside its in the 90 degree plus Fahrenheit scale but down under its winter so it’s still a great time to read it regardless of where you live or what season you’re in!
Enjoy this story and let it bring a smile to your face as you remember how it was when you fell in love!
Sleigh Rides with St Nick is a quick read that takes us from beginning to end with satisfaction. I loved how this one saw Ivy at a Jinx event and her introduction to Nick. I really enjoy Laura Greenwood's writing style she makes her stories so easy to get swept away with and adds a little spice to shake things up. This storyline played out so well and I loved the progression of the characters. The tropes in this story are great and though not normally a fan of insta love I found myself really enjoying it's placement. Ivy and Nick are so sweet, it made for an enjoyable read.
Ok so this one while a good story was just not for me. I just have a hard time envisioning Santa Claus as a romantic lead. And moreover I don’t really want to. I love nothing more than the joy and the innocence that comes at Christmas. Happy memories of my youth and then even happier experiencing it through the eyes of the children in my life. So was this well written and a sweet with a bit of heat story absolutely. Just Santa and romance didn’t mix for me. My two cents your mileage may vary. I received an ARC from the author these are my sincere thoughts on this story.
Started out strong, very cute storyline with Santa as part of the Jinx series. I don’t know, maybe I’m put off by Ivy’s constant conflict about her work contract and instant disregard for it. The love scenes also felt a bit short-shrift and formulaic. I did enjoy the history of how Nick evolved into modern Santa and how he fit into the modern pantheon that’s part of the rest of the series.
Some of the stories about the couples from Jinx just flow so smoothly along. Then it is later, six months or a year. Some not many have a small hiccup at the begging then smooth out. They are sweet stories I love just reading them. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A budding romance grinds to a halt when Ivy discovers Nick is her newest marketing client. No fraternizing is allowed with clients, but their hearts disagree.
This adult-only romance is full of Christmas spirit and spice! I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
Cute Christmas Story. Another unintended Jinx Matchmaking success. Toymaker Nick aka Santa meets marketing consultant Ivy, the attraction is instant. The fact these to gravitate to one another is romantic. The sexy scenes are tasteful and tender. The story is concise and great for an evening read. I received a copy from BookFunnel and voluntarily leave an honest review.
Cosy sweet romance between Ivy the elf and Nick, as in St Nick, Santa, Father Christmas…. 😎. Another Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency book with all the joy of finding new love and a little bit of spice. Short but satisfying, this is one of Laura’s series I really enjoy as a pick me up, happy read between other genres.
Naughty St. Nick finds love A meet-cute at a party turns into a forbidden workplace romance. I liked how the relationship between Ivy and Nick developed through the book. This is an enjoyable read with a bit of steam.
I received an Advance Review Copy (ARC) of the ebook, and I’m leaving a voluntary review.
Dating Santa? Btw, he prefers Nick… This is light and funny - the ultimate Christmas story! Both Ivy and Nick are lovely. And it have the sleight, the presents and Rudolf…. Awwww You must read it!
I received an ARC copy and I left my voluntary honest review
I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. It was a sweet romance. I liked how Ivy and Nick met at a party and then later when they run into each other again, they start a relationship. I liked how they share interests and compliment each other.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. I love how these books all intertwine together. An how the meeting with nick came about and their storyline too. With a bit of spice alongside.. lol you don’t quite imagine it with st Nick lol !!
Another fun and sexy quick read in the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency series. Ivy and Nick have an instant attraction and connection. Wonderful characters and a smooth storyline. I am looking forward to more in this series.
An adorable romance between an elf and Saint Nick, this is the Father Christmas version, not Santa Claus. Some great backstory and worldbuilding make this a very interesting read. The romance is steamy and emotionally satisfying.
Sleigh Rides With St. Nick book 11 in Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency by Laura Greenwood is a sweet, heartwarming Christmas story. This is such a fun and witty series to read! I love this series!
I received an ARC from the author and am leaving my review freely.
This was good. It is relatively low conflict and has some a good but not overlong explanation of the lore for those new to the series (like me, this was the first, but not the last). It was quick and fun with truly likeable characters and a sweet hea.
A fun and flirty story about an elf that meets Santa at a dating mixer. It has a nice christmassy vibe and I enjoyed reading it, especially with the bonus Epilogue!
Let's take a ride with Santa..... Christmas is supposed to be joyful, exciting & with heartfelt emotions. In this story, St. Nick has his duty to make sure all the children have a present that they wish for. I fell in love with the relationship between Nick & his elf, It's a sweet meet, playtime & finally a proposal of being there for each other. Thank you Laura for an ARC!
A perfect pairing I just LUV the “marketing and manufacturing” twist! And also the various backstories of Nick’s history. I grew up with an interest in world mythologies – this author helps me to continue one of my childhood passions.
Soon, readers can enjoy the upcoming ‘Locking Down Qetesh’ for more romantic pair-offs.
