This is the second book in the Chalmach Chronicles - series, continuing the stories of Dendrik, Alanaine, and others from Book One, and also introducing Winjan Winden.

Dendrik’s life has changed. A lot. But at least his job at the library is the same, the books are the same, and his patrons are the same. After all, a man can only handle so much. So when a library book turns out to have highly illegal insculptions that for some reason only Catch can see, there seems to be no choice but to report it. However, the young patron who found the book has no intention of leaving the mystery alone.

Winjan was lucky enough to be born with a penchant, the second strongest connection to alhmeir, next only to a tal’Vor. Unfortunately, the type of penchant left something to be desired. But when a client shows up and is willing to pay a lot of money, just to test Winjan’s ability, he finds himself in deeper water than he thought possible.
An Ohren for Your Thoughts
Alanaine is officially the new owner of Chalmach’s most famous mansion, and a secret forest. She suspects the latter to be the reason why Joulin Huile Eleid one early morning sends an al’madi to her door with an invitation to the palace. But to Alanaine’s surprise, the request has nothing to do with the forest, but has far darker and dangerous implications, and digs into her past as a tal’Vor.

He writes in both Norwegian and English.
