This book is set out like a child’s history book. A paragraph of basic info, then some random illustrations with long captions. I’m not particularly keen on the style for kids, it’s too bitty. I can see no reason for it in an adult book.

This book is set up like a DK Eyewitness book, with both graphics and text. It is a very good introduction to James Cook and his three expeditions.

The first book I had read when I was kid.
This book has made me dream to travel around the world to see what is the other side of the world.
