She's the epitome of perfection but not by choice.

Emerson Morgan has been raised to be the perfect child for her parents. She has achieved many things throughout her life and keeps climbing the corporate ladder. To the outside world, her life seems picture-perfect. But she's actually terrified of failing and is stuck in a loveless relationship to please her overbearing parents.

Arden Sullivan is a businessman in line to take over her family's rival company. He's charming, brilliant, intelligent, and not afraid to make sure everyone knows it. For years, he has seen Emerson as a challenge that he is determined to win... even if she hates him.

But when a business merger happens, will Emerson be able to keep her life together? Or will everything she's worked so hard to perfect go up in flames?

Lovely Lines is an easy to read/easy to follow story of perseverance, strength and love. It shows us the importane of the family you choose, not the family you're 'born' into. The author does a great job at creating characters you really care about, and creating characters you really hate! This is a great romance for readers who prefer affection over spice.

This had such good tropes going on. Easy to follow story, and you really felt for the main character Emerson. I wanted to scream at her multiple times, but she was doing the best she could. Love this and can’t wait for the next book!

Emerson has had to be perfect her whole life. She doesn’t even know how to want anything. It’s frustrating to see her inner dialogue of how much she refuses to allow herself to feel things or want things. Arden cracks away at the perfect facade often. Which both infuriates and intrigues Emerson. This book is good for people wanting a non spicy romance with two intriguing main characters.
