An excellent little book I was given as a gift. I would have given it 5 stars except it is limited by size to only a few pages of plant suggestions on each location. It helped me learn how to pick the right plants for various situations instead of trying to force things to live where they cannot. A simple concept but often where many folk go wrong when starting out, leading to heartbreak and expensive mistakes! The format is excellent...you start with looking at the conditions you have somewhere, and you get a list of things which would thrive there and a few pictures, simple. I just wish it was ten times the size!

The best landscape plant idea book I've read, and I have quite a few. I refer to it over and over.

Enough information to get you thinking about how plants need specific habitats to thrive, but not really enough choices to help in the design process.
