Thank you to Tanya Vought for gifting me this book so I may bring you this review.

Gracelyn and Giovanni story was so beautifully written that it captured my heart. This story has everything fate, faith, Inspiration, love, loss, grief, letting go, finding yourself, second chances, miracles, and soul mates. Get your Kleenex box handy as there are some tear jerking moments.

Each character touched a place in my heart. However, Gracelyn, Giovanni, and Angelo were my favorites. Gracelyn and Giovanni bo

While I thought Granted Wishes was a beautiful love story, I couldn't didn't connect with it at all. I'm not sure if I craved the angst or some steamy, sexy scenes, there was just something missing. At about the 90% mark the book got to my speed, but by then the story was over.

Gracelynn lost her husband and after moping around for too long, her best friends (and co-workers) send her on a mandatory vacation to try and get some sense of "normal" back into her life again. Reluctant at first, Gracel

Something magical is happening in New Hope...

Granted Wishes was unlike any other story I've read before. The characters are quirky, sweet, determined, stubborn at times, but truly likeable and overall good people who have been dealt a raw deal in life. Gracelynn is worn down from the loss of her husband and it seems no amount of time will heal her broken heart. She still manages to be one spunky gal, who happens to be really good at getting Gio’s boxers in a bunch. When an accident leaves her st

I am giving this review on behalf of Kats Book Promotions/ Katsindiebookblog. This was such a sweet book. Do you believe in angels? This book will make you believe in them after reading it! Gracelynn lost her husband a few years back. What are you supposed to do to cope other than go in autopilot mode. Even though she was working regularly, it wasn't showing. Her best friends / bosses forced her on a 4 week vacation or lose her job. She went not so willingly. They packed her up, punched in her G ...more

I received this book to read and review, Tanya Vought is a very talented, intriguing and creative writer, her writing style is witty, quirky, full of passion and brite star on the horizon. Tanya's characters are defined and well written. The way she described them is fantastic and well thought out. This is the frist book by Tanya Vought I have read and it is delightful.

This was an enjoyable read. It is the story of Gracelynn who is still grieving for the love of her life 3 years after his death and Gio who is also living half a life after losing his wife. They meet when Gracelynn is looking for a vacation destination that her boss and best friend force her to take and Gio literally runs into her with his truck. They are immediately drawn to one another but Gracelynn feels that she is being unfaithful to her late husbands memory. There are many revelations that ...more

Lots of heart in this debut!

A playful heartwarming read with plenty of romantic tension will leave you with a smile in your heart and a new hope for the loveable characters. From start to finish Granted Wishes is a story that clearly came from the author’s heart. This is a story about loss, love and miracles. Even some laugh out loud moments too. Charismatic supporting characters for the sassy Gracie and sexy Gio. Lots of time passes before these two figure out if they are really meant to be. Wo

I didn't knew that Granted Wishes was a paranormal (-ish) book, so when the voices came I freaked out. At a point I even thought that Gio and Gracelynn were dead and they were living in a parallel universe or something (see Sand Castle by Megan Hart).

In chapters 1 to 7 I felt that something wasn't right and that it was wrong. So I examined the paragraph I was reading and realized that the verbs were in present tense and not in the usual and much loved past tense. I think that might have

This book was a romantic love story about two broken people. Who at the time didn't realize there connection. I felt like the story was beautiful at times but it's wrote in the third person If you can over look that part then it's a book you might want to read. For me I sometimes struggle with reading this type. Graceylynn was a widow who lost her husband it's been three years and she can't bring herself back from this turmoil she is in. Vikki’s Musings

I decided to give this a read this afternoon. It’s an easy and quick little romance. I liked both characters for the most part. I did struggle with the present tense in third person. Normally present tense works better with first person.

As I read along, I kept wondering about the age of the author. Ms. Vought uses quite a few outdated words, such as Giovanni calling Gracelynn doll along with a few other ones. Another problem for me was the amount of telling instead of showing. Th

I am not a big romance reader. Every now and then a book comes along that catches me and carries me along for the ride. This is one of those books. The romance was not rushed which is what I hate about most romance books. Three years after the main character Gracelynn lost her husband, her friends decide she must get back into the game of life. The only way to do that is to force her to take a vacation, a four week vacation. Gracelynn's life changes when she meets Giovanni. He literally runs int ...more

An Amazing Debut Novel!

This is a story of life, loss and the power of love. Granted Wishes includes the perfect mix of characters who are fiesty, sassy, fierce, strong and yet vulnerable, and even the ones we love to hate! This book brought out so many emotions while I was reading it, from happiness, to sadness to anger and happy tears it had it all. Gio and Gracelynn have the kind of love that we all want, they have a bond that can be tested and yet not broken and prove that true love does exis

I am so glad I received an ARC of this debut. I love to loose myself among the pages of a new author. From page one I was hooked. There was no putting it down. What a "magical" journey I found myself taking. A storyline that was so unique and loaded with emotions. How can one story evoke so many feelings and highlight so many life lessons? So many experiences and life altering events. Be prepared for a whirlwind of a read. A powerful story needs extraordinary characters to enhance and support. R ...more

I was given Granted Wishes by Tanya Vaught for an honest review. This is the first book I have read of hers and it was a heartfelt tale. Gracelynn’s husband died three years ago and her friends tell her she needs to move on go on vacation get herself together and then come back. She ends up at Gio’s cabin with him taking care of her and feeling things that neither of them has felt in awhile. The whole time they are ...more

Granted Wishes is a book about love, loss, and finding your way again. When life throws Gracelynn a curve ball by putting Gio into her life, she does everything she can to avoid the feelings he stirs inside of her. I'm not saying much because I don't want to give it away, but the struggle these two have due to their pasts is heartbreaking, but the love they find within one another makes up for all of that. This book is in third person, I tend to struggle with third person, but in all...this book ...more

Granted Wishes was beautiful written with a unique story line. It flowed naturally grabbing my attention from the first page to the last. It's a story about grieving after a spouses death and having a second chance at finding your soul mate, with a little help from angel. I would definitely recommend this debut novel if you like to read a feel good romance. I look forward to reading future books written by Tanya Vought.

This was a clean contemporary romance. Although there were some unsavory parts for the most part the romance was sweet.

It took awhile for the couple to finally unite because of their previous relationships which ended in sad losses for both. However, the chemistry between the two was established pretty early in the story. So, not a lot of resistance on either side.

Interesting reveal and magical-like intervention in this story which lends to a good cozy read during the holiday season.

>Review - Granted Wishes -

>I received this from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock. I am an independent reviewer. This is the first book in the Granted series.

>This was a very strange book. On the surface, the story is a romance between 2 people who lost their first loves. What is written, though, is a lot of description of the mundane. Every thought and feeling the 2 main characters, Gio and Gracelynn, have are described or discussed. When Gracelynn goes into

Giovanni and Gracelynn have each lost their first loves. Their grief keeps them from moving on. As such, they're stuck in this endless cycle of simply existing without really living. The day they meet is the day their lives could change but only if they're willing to let themselves move on.

The attraction between Giovanni and Gracelynn made the progression from strangers to lovers natural, but that was all it was for me. I struggled to connect with either character and I'm not sure why.

"Granted Wishes" by Tanya Vought. This is a love story about two people that are both lost in their grief that end up finding each other. I enjoyed watching the relationship develop between Gracelynn and Gio. It progressed at a slower pace than many romance novels, which isn't a bad thing but, unfortunately, at times it seemed a bit too slow. I felt for both characters, knowing the pain and heartache they experienced in the past, and, it's always nice to see someone that is struggling mo

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review, which I'm happy to do. The premise of this book was an incredible tale of immeasurably and everlasting love, despite the fact that many would scoff at the possibility. Two special individuals, Gracelynn and Giovanni come together under mysterious and unbelievable circumstances, and an assumingly angelic event sprinkles them with a warm friendship that builds to abiding love.
