My Mobster #3

Abducted By The Femboy

Rate this book
I don’t care how cute he is, I’m going to kill him.

He tricked me. Drugged me and tied me to his goddamn bed.

I’m used to being respected. Feared. Obeyed.

Not…this.

I’ve always liked my best friend’s crazy little brother. I worry about him because being a femboy in a mafia family isn’t safe.

But he has gone too far. He can’t disrespect me like this.

He’s still cute, though.

And, oh lord, that mouth of his.

I swore I was I straight man. Now he’s making me rethink things. Which the little minx says was his plan all along.

This feral brat thinks we are destined to be together, and after a few nights in his bed, I’m beginning to see the appeal. Having him in my bed is not a terrible idea.

So when this is all over and I escape… do I kill him?

Or do I keep him?

Coffee, spicy books, and a profound disrespect for tomorrow (aka reading until four in the morning). My three favorite things.

I aim to write the kind of stories that keep you up way too late, while squealing, kicking your feet, and falling hopelessly in love with your new book boyfriend (or two... I don’t judge).

Grab that triple-shot brown sugar shaken espresso. Trust me, we’re both going to need it.

Let’s spread those pages.

Love,
Jessica Jackman.

I enjoyed this, but there were parts that seemed repetitive in their explanation.
So glad Carlo finally came to his senses and Ginni gets his HEA, especially after the life he's had so far.

I received an ARC from Book Sirens for my honest review.

I received an advanced copy of Abducted by the Femboy! Thank you to the author for the chance to read and review early!

You know it’s gonna be a banger when the MC wakes up chained to a bed on the first page! “Assertive courtship” according to Giovanni. You know, Giovanni Torrini, “oh he’s sweet but psycho… a little bit psycho…” or however that Ava Max song goes 😂 he’s pretty crazy, but I kind of adore him!
But for real, I have a THING for dudes that wear crop tops.
And Carlo, don’t even get me started on Carlo… I mean, he had a touch-him-and-die obsession five minutes after waking up chained to a bed. So, it’s easy to say they were meant for eachother!

I enjoyed Abducted by the Femboy. It was a somewhat dark, but super sweet read (dark AND super sweet at the same time!? I know, I know. Crazy!). I really dig the Stockholm Syndrome lovers romance vibes.

34 - 21 age gap ❤️
Best friends brother ❤️
Ginni - the perfect lil twink femboy wifey ❤️
Carlo - the possessive “straight” obsessed good boy ❤️
Zero plot, insanely crazy and sexyyyy as hell 🥵

Ginni is the most deranged character I’ve ever read and I love it. In no way, shape, or form is this a playbook to get the person you’re obsessed with to fall in love with you, but it was interesting to read anyway.

Carlo Benedetti is a respected mafia man, he’s feared and people don’t mess with him. So imagine his surprise when he wakes up in a basement he doesn’t recognize, chained to a bed he’s never been in. Ginni Torrini is a cunning and dangerous little thing, who’s been in love with Carlo for years, and obviously the only way to convince Carlo he’s also in love with Ginni is to drug him, kidnap him and hold him hostage until he realizes it. Nobody ever said Ginni was a sane person, but Carlo might just be crazy enough to fall for him anyway.

Reading about Ginni, seeing how his brain processes everything, it’s a perfect fantasy that he’s been willing to bring to life. He’s not the biggest in the bunch but he’s incredibly intelligent and very observant at his surroundings. Somehow he managed to pull off drugging the big bad mafia man he’s been in love with since he was 16. Just the way his mind works is fascinating.

Carlo can’t decide whether he should kill Ginni or keep him for everything he’s done. It’s a slow descent into questioning if this is Stockholm syndrome or if he actually loved Ginni back. Honestly, it’s a bit of both. The way he views Ginni over the time of his captivity, I can’t say I blame him for falling for Ginni. He’s devoted to loving and caring for Carlo and he shows Carlo what it’s like to be wanted, although, there are definitely better ways to show it rather than leaving someone chained to a bed but I digress.

I think Dante’s book will definitely be interesting just because Dante’s character is so elusive, he’s quiet and calm but he always knows what’s going on.

I received this book through BookSirens in return for an honest review.

Dear Jessica, you have to stop when the reader's heart cracks loudly, not when it's about to shatter into a thousand pieces.
OMG, Ginni. I wanted to jump into the story and hug him, protect him, and above all, shake Carlos awake. Sure, the little whirlwind is a little unhinged, but that's part of his charm. The love he feels is something raw, beautiful, and so multi-layered that it's rare and therefore incredibly precious.
I can't believe how long it took Carlos to understand.
Just close your eyes, Carlos, then you'll feel it!
And Marko... that was the next part where I wanted to jump into the story, but to do really bad things to him. My protective instinct is still burning and I... okay, I'm taking a deep breath. Anyway.
I have a feeling that this series has set out to break my heart, and I'm totally on board.
Anyone who doesn't read the story of these two has only themselves to blame. Ginni, to me you are a wonderful, chaotic, and creative being, and I would be honored to be your friend.

I’ll preface this by saying that I did not read the first two books in the series. The promise of a psychotic twink was too much temptation for me. With that being said, in no way did I feel lost or like I was missing information as I read.

Ginni was an absolute delight. Deranged to be sure. Living in his own world. Cuckoo for coco puffs. But I was living for it. And who could blame the poor guy. His family was atrocious. But Carlo. Ah. Carlo was this perfect match for him once he actually got past his hang ups. Mafia guy admitting he likes a little loony twink is a big step for him. But they did pair up so nicely. Ginni, for all of his issues and delusions, just wanted someone to love. More importantly, he just wanted someone to SEE him. Carlo did that for him.

Did I have to roll my eyes a time or two? Yes. Did I have to suspend my belief? Yup. But I don’t care. This was a fun read that had all the dark and deranged things I love. Would definitely recommend.

I do wonder though, why no follow up with Marco and Carlo? Cause I really think Marco deserved a punch or ten. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I read this book as an arc read.

I actually really enjoyed this story despite the story being essentially the two MMCs in a kidnapped environment and no major outside characters. You learn a bit about the organisation Carlo works for and about Gianni's family but there are very limited interactions.

Carlo identifies as straight at the beginning of the book and has never had any interest in being with a man but you seen this change over time although I don't necessarily think it changes to anything except him liking Gianni. Carlo holds onto the belief he isn't falling for Gianni but even through his POVs from pre kidnapping you can see he has noticed little things about Gianni all the time.
.
Along with the craziness that Gianni puts Carlo through you learn just how bad Gianni's parents were to him and even his brother who Carlo thought was a good person. Despite how bad Marco was to Gianni he still wanted his brother in his life though and this made me sad. Gianni just wanted to be loved.

This book has just the right mix of happiness, romance, sadness, smut and comedy and I would recommend to mm readers who are not afraid of spice.

I was a bit unsure about this book. But I must honestly admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the story. It had body and what kind of body. Carlo Benedetti, is kidnapped by Ginni [Giovanni Torrini], the black sheep of his family. Untreatable and unmanageable. But he has been in love with Carlo all his life. quote: "Beautiful, brilliant, and absolutely f*ing unhinged'. The big boss and a dangerous man. But that really doesn't stop him. "quote: he is insane. Completely and utterly f*ing batshit bonkers". It was really a pleasant surprise, deep emotions and feelings and I really couldn't stop reading. I felt sorry for Carlo in the beginning, but that quickly passed. Ginni sometimes broke my heart herself, so damaged and yet just normal. Certainly normal than that so-called family of his. The more we learn about this dynamic duo, the more you see them as a possible couple. How else can you see it quote: this is kidnapping. I prefer assertive courtship." Yes, I really enjoyed this book.

The year just started but can confidently say this is going to be a top read for the year. Ginni's been in love with Carlo for years, his older brother's best friend. Well, Ginni's done waiting around for Carlo and decides to kick start their relationship on his own terms, via a legendary "assertive courtship".

Words can't express how much I love Ginni. Is he delusional? Does he have a touch of madness? Absolutely, without a doubt. He's also painfully endearing, sweet, and achingly fragile. He's the definition of loving with your whole entire heart. Love that his delulu manifested into real life with the most perfect HEA 🥹

Fast burn, high heat, found family, and charmingly unhinged. Will definitely re-read this before the year is over.

Ginni and Carlos story... Definitely check the trigger warnings because there are a few that may fall into the no-gos for some readers. This is definitely a story about obsession, incredible longing, that manic kind of love that is so overwhelming it is not healthy. Ginni literally kidnaps and then slowly pushes Carlos to the limits in all ways making him question his sanity, and his sexuality. Overall this was an interesting, albeit super spicy, read. I liked the dual points of view especially seeing the little breaks in Ginni's mind toward the end of the storyline.

I did recieve this as an ARC review, but all opinions in my reviews are based solely on my personal reading preferences.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would, my only problem with this book is I wanted it to be longer. I could read multiple books about Carlo and Ginni. This will be a book I reread again and again. Poor sweet Ginni I’m so glad he got the hea he deserved and longed for so much. Really looking forward to the next book in the series!

I honestly wasn’t sure if I would like this. But I sure did. I mean crazy AF femboy kidnaps capo. Sign me up. It was unhinged. Being inside the mind of Ginni just wow. I felt the manic. It was sweet and some part but crazy in other. Definitely a really good mixture. It works for them. I mean it is far fetched but honestly why would I want to read something that was normal. Nope. I would totally recommend. The writing was really good and the story was interesting

Ginnie was heartbreakingly unhinged. This was definitely not a healthy beginning to a relationship, but you can't help to feel for Ginnie the more you learn about what happened to him. He tried to make sense of the world around him with how broken his mind was forced to become. I literally wanted to cry for him. I am glad Carlos came to terms with his feelings, even if they might be a little Stockholmy; but at least he became the person, the safe space that Ginnie needed to be himself.

Holy Smokes. That was a crazy ride. there were times I was completely entranced with the fantasy Ginni created. I was actually mad at Carlo for not appreciating him. I actually disregarded that Carlo was kidnapped and there involuntarily. My whole heart will forever be enraptured by Ginni.
I received this as an ARC and I am absolutely reviewing it voluntarily. I have read every book in this series and I am already looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoyed this book! Definitely not your every day mafia book for sure. From bondage to true love. Ginni did not deserve how his family treated him!! Conversion camp should be outlawed!
I loved watching Ginni and Carlo’s relationship develop. So glad Carlo didn’t let a little abduction keep him from falling for Ginni.

A different but interesting storyline. Something I never read. In love with him since he was 16, Ginni (Giovanni) kidnaps Carlo, a Capo for the "Mafia". He keeps him cuffed to the bed for 2 weeks in hopes that Carlo will fall in love with him. Low to medium angst, HEA. 3 🌶️

ginni had my heart from the beginning. delulu to the extreme but beneath the delusion was a broken boy. i wanted to hug him so many times.

carlo truthfully doesn't deserve ginni. i completely understood how his emotions might be skewed considering he was kidnapped by one hell of a femboy BUT his waffling back and forth at the end really frustrated me.

i really enjoyed the book until the last 20%. the ending felt rushed and definitely wasn’t what ginni deserved. i needed more of their hea. even maybe an epilogue would’ve helped. i wanted to see their intimacy outside of captivity. the ending just left me wanting so much more and felt almost disconnected from the pages i had read before.

i will say out of all of the mcs from the series ginni is my favorite.
