I wish i liked this series more than I did. The writing from Allen is good, great even and the art is soldi throughout. But the plot feels like it has very little substance, nothing major happens to shift Magik as a character and the new cast, while likable, probably aren't going to show up in much else (aside from Allan's upcoming Mirage comic) anytime soon.

A fun read if you like Magik as a character, but not much more than that unfortunately.

Read in single issues on Marvel Unlimited. My favorite ongoing of the ‘from the Ashes’ run. I’m very content to read more stories about Illyana and Dani.
