I fell into this story. Lost in the fast paced love/hate relationship between Kellan and Hailey. For Hailey, helping her mom was the most important thing in her life. She put her dreams and plans on hold to help out. And finding a decent paying job was top of the list! But she never expected her life to change so drastically by just tripping into Jimbo's Bar. But polar opposites are there to meet her. Her co-workers. One insanely handsome and sweet, the good guy and a total package. But the other...a lethal concoction. Dark mysterious, and broody. A piss poor attitude hidden by ruggedly good looks. What's a girl to do?
"For the second time in one day, I was met with a pair of eyes I could find myself lost in. When he'd touched me, a searing spark had inexplicably shot through my entire body. Looking at Kellan was like looking at a piece of art."
Fighting fire with fire does nothing to dampen the lust and crave these two fell for each other. But when together the flames burn hot and hard. Burning anything and everything around them. But when apart, uncontrolled and leads their misery only to grow. Nothing seemed to go right. Kellan's anger is the biggest block. He is used to doing things his way, unworried of who he hurts or affects along the way. Never even thinking himself capable of and feelings beside instant relief from any woman. But Hailey isn't like any woman before her. She has placed herself under his skin and he can't free himself from her. But then again he doesn't want to.
"I need this...him and only him. Its been him all along. How stupid I've been to even fathom otherwise. I was drawn to him like a moth to flame the very first day I had met him. His searing eyes beckoned me, burned a hole straight into my soul where he resides. His body had mine on full alert from the moment we touched, as an electric currant ran through me, shaking me to my core, blazing my insides with a scorching intensity the likes of which I have never experienced with anyone, and doubt I could ever again. I love him with my whole being and I plan to show him with my body just how deeply my rivers run for him."
But when all seems to finally come together for them, they never really see how fragile their relationship actually is. A misinterpretation takes place and neither person will be the same! I loved every second of this books. Its one that will keep you up late at night and leave you scrambling to get the next book!!

That mother f-ing ending.
BEWARE CLIFFHANGER
CLIFFHANGER WARNING
This wasn't my type of story. I didn't care for Kellan, he kind of redeemed himself, but then at the end I got pissed. That stupid cliffhanger. I DO want to see what happens even though the book made me mad. I will say the Heat factor was pretty darn hot.
BUT THAT DAMN ENDING. That mother clucking ending pissed me the heck off. CLIFFHANGER WARNING
My rating all boils down to that damn ending.

omg I didn't expect that ending. I must have more Kellan like now.
ok Kellan is a cocky, arrogant, full of himself prick who you just want to lick, while he pulls your hair. is that tmi. This book draws you in from the the first page.
we have sweet (Hailey ) meets spicy ( Kellan ). Hailey is home from school to help take care of her mother who has cancer, while home she gets a job at the local bar Jimbos where she meets the very sweet. sexy Jordan and the smart*** Kellan. Of course she's drawn to Kellan, he's a bad boy. but is he really all that bad, of Hailey is attractive to Jordan as well. his sweet, treats with respect but there's no spark. everyone is telling her to stay away from Kellan, but she sees something in him that the others dont. Hailey is like a drug to Kellan we see her bring out a side of him that stays dormant to others, but Kellan didn't realize how far he was willing to have Hailey go. I can't believe it's a cliffhanger. I really must have now, definitely a must read.

Another great read by Kiara. I have to admit at first I really disliked Kellan, not because he wasn't written well because he is a JERK! He is your typical badass type, tells it like it is, doesn't take anyone's s***, etc. Then as the story goes on you can't help but really feel for him and he redeems himself... that is short lived though! Kellan & Hailey have some great chemistry tht you won't want to miss. As always Kiara has a way of writing an unexpected ending that leaves you dying for the next book!! I can't wait for book 2, I already have some crazy assumptions running through my head and I want to know if any of them are right! Keep the books coming Kiara. :)

Wow talk about suck you in from the start! This book is quick paced, sexy, fun, a bit frustrating and a heck of a lot of a stupid man!
Haley is starting her job at a bar to help pay bills and take care of her mom whom has cancer! It's a bit of a struggle getting used to but when she meets the sexy as sin bartender things get a bit crazy!
Kellan is a smarta$$, quick witted and sex on a stick! He promised hisself that he will never let a woman into his heart and he sticks to his rules! That is until he meets Haley!
But when he over hears a conversation every thing changes for them both!
Omg I can't wait to read the next part, I want to know when happens next!

I seriously thought my tablet was going to melt when I read this book! Kellan and Jordan both left me wanting more of them for completely different reasons...
I hazard to say that it was close to a Team Edward Team Jacob situation. I was utterly jealous of Hailey and thought she was a totally lucky girl!
This book is an awesomely juicy read!

Great story-line, great chemistry between Kellan and Hailey. Both are feisty and there is so much push and pull in this book, it left my mind reeling, my emotions bouncing off the wall, and the ending...yeah, I'm begging for book 2. Speaking of which...I have a hot date tonight with my new favorite BBF! Can't wait to see if book 2 takes me on as wild of a ride as Burned did. Amazing book Kiara. You've made a fan for life!

An Absolute Must Read!
I loved this book! Once I started I could not put it down. The writing and character development is phenomenal and the chemistry between the main characters Kellen and Hailey is absolutely hot. Though in the beginning I thought Kellen was a big jerk, he did redeemed himself as the story unfolded. This was my first book by Kiara but definitely will not be my last.

I got the book on Amazon Unlimited. I certainly didn't like Kellen and Hailey was... Ehhh...but I kept reading to see where the story would go. All I can say is I am so glad I continued reading. (So much so that I purchased the book.) Great storyline and I can't wait to read the next installment!

OMG! What an awesome book! I could not put it down! Kellan Haines is one sexy badass, but he's got a heart and shows it to Hailey. An emotional rollercoaster...I truly enjoyed this book! I'm going to click on book 2 Fire and Ice: Rekindled! Loved it Kiara!!!

This book has it all! Kellan Haines, the lead male, is a tattooed and muscled bad boy that is sinfully HOT! He has a sexy, dirty mouth, and he knows EXACTLY how to use it.
When Kellan first meets Hailey, sparks fly immediately between the two...and not necessarily in a good way, either. While Kellan and his best friend, Jordan, tend bar at Jimbo's, Hailey literally stumbles through the door on her first night at work. As Kellan hangs back, amused at her entrance, Jordan comes to her aid like a true gentleman. Jordan's laid back, easy spirit and boyish good looks have Hailey swooning over him from the moment they meet.
When Jordan introduces Hailey to Kellan, his brash, cocky attitude and need for dominance override his desire to make Hailey his own, and his insults have her fuming. But all that melts away as Hailey and Kellan find themselves alone. He can't deny his attraction to her no matter how hard he fights to, and Hailey is suddenly caught in a love triangle between a man that's no good for her, and a man that's too good to be true.
The many twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat, and this book took me on a roller coaster ride from the first page to the last. The ending was definitely unexpected, leaving me revved up and EXTREMELY hot and bothered for book two!

Kellan is a self centered jerk. Hailey is a naive girl. Jordan is a good ole boy. Georgia is just a sassy woman thrown into the mix. Kellan's behavior was humorous in the beginning with the banter between him and Jordan. Georgia's sass was entertaining as well.
I had a hard time getting pulled into the story. I felt like it was rushed and didn't build up to the relationship/lack of relationship situations sufficiently. I think the story line was good and the cliff hanger was interesting, but I wished the story had more depth.
