Apparently the Spanish and English editions both have the same ISBN. The chapters (in my English edition) are:
1. The Founding Fathers (Morris, Ruskin, Carlyle)
2. Pre-Raphaelites in England and the United States
3. Morris and Co.
4. The Craft Guild in Britain
5. The Craft Ideal in the United States
6. The Aesthetic Backdrop
7. The European Contribution.
Beautiful color illustrations.

I love this book. It offers a very quick and concise explanation of the Arts and Crafts movement in Great Britain. The accompanying photos and illustrations are wonderful. This book serves as an excellent introduction to understanding this movement. I also love the brief exploration of how the movement was carried on and expressed in other countries.

Seems more like this was written in 1897 than 1987. Ick.

Excellent overview of the Arts and Crafts movement in the UK and US, with a nod to later German and Vienniese interpretations. Nicely illustrated and briskly written.

Walter Crane's swan and rush wallpaper design is on the book jacket. Since I could not find the cover image I uploaded this instead. This seems to be a companion book, similar in design and execution to Poulson's "William Morris" and is likely to be of the same high caliber.
