Awful book. There are SO many better books on the subject. If I recall correctly, this book seems to say that cutting is just an attention seeking behaviour, and it doesn't explore the many psychological and sociological reasons for it. It is just horrible, like I said, there are many other books that are much more helpful and in depth.

This book was odd. I found it kinda laughable at times. Some parts did resonate, but overall it had an interesting theme of that 'attention seeking' aspect. I wouldn't buy or recommend this book. I got it from a library just to see what someone would write about this topic, awfully done. It's really a one-dimensional point on the subject.

I liked it, I found it helpful. It did mention cutting for attention though which is bs so idk about that part. Overall though, I found it helpful.
