Hauntingly beautiful, its one of those stories that sticks with you for a lifetime. The art, the detailed characters, how it touches on so many different aspects. Very well done!!!

Ughhhhhh. One fucked up manga again.I'm so annoyed with many psychos in the book.

Spoiler alert.

SUMMARY of craziness in the manga.

Okay. SO we have the fraternal twins here, a boy and a girl. The manga opened up with the girl, having a brother complex and obsessing with her twin brother. The brother has a girlfriend and keeps it secret to her sister, well cause she might be CRAZY.

The sister dont talk to anyone at school. Only to her brother. She is just freaking annoying. And I dont get it why the boys on their school are actually crushing on her and calling her ice princess as a compliment. Eeeeew. The sister was actually just a being a bitch people!

Oh, and before I forgot, the twins are actually very sick and born with a weak heart. The sister has a heart transplant while the boy has a heart operation.

And then here comes another boy. Who allegedly is the childhood friend of the twins. He likes the twin sister and follows her all around although its quite obvious that the "ice princess" was just bulshitting him all the time. She is being so crazy and obsess with her brother sleeping with his girlfriend and actually calling it disgusting since according to the crazy sister, she and her brother was actually meant or each other.

I told you she was crazy.

Then the tables have turned

I dont really remember where did it all change but suddenly the crazy ass sister start liking their mysterious 'childhood friend' and then she sort of started getting over her obsession with her brother when . . . Tantananananan . . . the effin brother is the one who is so fucking jealous with his twin sister and his boyfriend.

I mean, what the hell is wrong with these people? So where actually is the twins parents? So yeah, a major plot. The twins parents are actually doctors and when the twins are young and very sickly, the twin sister needed a heart for the operation but it was impossible to get heart for transplant ASAP so he did some abra kadabra in one of his patients to declare the child as brain dead and begged the parents of the child victim for organ donation.

The father then give the heart from the brain dead child to his daughter, the one I was calling the twin sister.

So . . okay. Then what happened? Back to the present (The operation happened when they where young), it is revealed that the twin sister's boyfriend was actually the brother of the child victim who was technically killed by the father to harvest the heart for transplant. And now he was back to have revenge. Sick right? Just wtf moments.

Then what was he actually planning to do as a revenge anyway? Well, when the twin brothers discovers that his twin sister's boyfriend was not actually their childhood friend and was fake HE FUCKING KILLED HIM. Well, its an accident anyway since the twin sister's boyfriend threatened the twins that he will going to report their incestuous relationship to their parents and that they were sleeping together. Another eeewww.

After 'killing' him, the twins fled to the country side but it didnt last long since we know that the sister is actually very sick and has a weak heart, well, she died. It is also revealed that the twin sister's boyfriend did not actually die and well we can say that the twin sister and her boyfriend actually learn to love each other. Sort of.

So yeah, the twin brother was devastated with this and decided to commit suicide. The end.

Fucckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
For some reason, I was really mad while reading this book. The twins is obviously obsessing with each other. I believe it is also jealousy and possessiveness since they actually only do this when the other one was having a relationship with other people but after that. Nothing.

Annoying. This is a really dark manga with crazy psycho people.

O.W.L.s Readathon 2020

My feelings after reading this are really mixed. I kinda liked it, but at the same time nothing really happened. All I can really say is that I'm curious. I really want to see what strange, dark, twisted road this manhwa will take me down....

i really liked a lot about this manhwa. i think they really captured how it can feel being so SO codependent that it feels like you can never be the same without them. some of the dialogue feels very genuine and real and you can help but feel for the characters even though they're really messed up. the art is stunning and the symbolism is subtle but there.

the only thing that i don't really like is it feels sort of all over the place at times, its difficult to understand without rereading a few chapters.

Overall, the story is intriguing and i read it through one day, i would recommend it to a friend if they're into this genre. 4/5

Referencing Baudelaire and Argento, obsession is a destructive rot. Park Chan-wook should make this into a movie. The drawings are pretty, with cute details like the patterns on shoes and socks, but the doll eyes are disconcerting. Twincest.

Flowers of Evil has an intricate plot and beautiful art.
It's... simply brilliant and quite addictive.

Great points:
- curse of the twins
- complicated love triangle
- you can't foresee how the plot will unfold

Bad points:

-tragic ending T.T

This was one deep, psychotic book. Really enjoyed it. Usually, I hate tragedies but this one was fitting. Ironic how you think Se-Wah was the messed up one the whole time when really it was Se-Joon. I will never look at twins the same way again....

EH. Not a lot happened in this manga, it was a lot of talking about feelings, he said/she said and generally back and forth gossip and emotions. The premise is good and the characters are definitely twisted and could be interesting if the story were told in a different way.
