With her friends in happy relationships and two insanely overprotective cousins, Aaliyah Botros is beginning to wonder if she’ll ever get her chance at love.
So she can hardly believe it when she bumps into a former flame while on a road trip. Joseph is just as charming as ever and the years have been good to him. Very good. He’s even more handsome, muscular and disarming than when they were young. But despite the connection she still feels, Aaliyah knows her family will never approve.
Joseph can’t believe his luck running into Aaliyah after all this time. Truthfully, he never stopped thinking about her after high school. Now she’s even more beautiful and fierce as a 25-year-old woman. But while he may be a respected police officer in his community, he knows it won’t be so easy to earn the respect of the Botros family.
All it takes is one night to reignite the passion between Aaliyah and Joseph, but with her strict family and their cultural differences in the way, is their relationship doomed from the start?

This is book four of the Botros Brothers series and tells the story of Aaliyah Botros and Joseph Samara, who were old flames back in high school and six years later find each other again, when Joseph stops her for speeding. Aaliyah was raised by her aunt and uncle, her cousins Tariq and Amir’s parents, ever since her parents died when she was quite young. They expect her to marry someone of her own stations and didn’t allow her to go off to college or even have a job of her own. All she has had is volunteering at Fiddah’s charity foundation, helping young girls with nutrition especially which is her main interest. She would love to study it at college and then make it a career. She travels with Sara, Tariq’s wife and VP of Botros Oil, Soraya, wife of Amir, and their friends Keira and Kaleena, off for a girl’s spa weekend, while Sara also does some business. They were travelling to the small town of Hariq when they were stopped and the other women made lots of comments about the police officer, due to him being so handsome. Aaliyah didn’t let the others know about her recognising Joseph, not being sure if he had actually recognised her! That evening they leave the hotel to visit the local street fair, where Aaliyah unfortunately attracts the attention of a slimy older man who noticed her in their hotel as well. He grabs her and drags her onto a dance floor and refuses to accept ‘no’ for an answer. The other women are being kept back by his friends, until Joseph and his police partner catch sight of the trouble.
They race to the rescue and Aaliyah has to finally reveal that she knows him, to the rest of the girls! He makes the effort to see her around his work commitments and she ends up staying at the hotel for a few more days after the others leave to go back to Kithab. She gets to see how well liked he is in his community and he is exactly as she remembered him, just even more handsome and well built! He left her all those years ago as her family wouldn’t allow their relationship to go anywhere, giving her the decision of him or her family and he couldn’t allow her to make that choice. One night together beings all the magic back with a bang and they don’t want to lose what they have together. Neither wants to give up being together, but her family still won’t approve, due to his status and job. He has clearly done well in his job, already being a lieutenant and also helping with coaching young boys with the local football team. The cat is out of the bag as soon as she stays for those extra couple of days and Tariq in particular is concerned. He wants to check out Joseph, but Sara soon reminds him that she wasn’t exactly in his social circle when they met and that their relationship has worked. The biggest problem is Tariq and Amir’s mother, who had issues with both of their relationships and tried to force them to reject their choice of woman. Now she has Aaliyah’s relationship as her target and she isn’t happy with her choice, even though they were in love before and having met again, are unlikely to want to give it all up again.
All of Joseph and Aaliyah’s attempts to get the family, seem to work with the other members of the family and their friends, but her aunt is dead set against him! Everyone else around her is married or engaged and she wondered if she would ever find someone to love, like she had all those years ago. She never forgot him, but her aunt and uncle are set to make their dislike of him ever clearer. When her aunt tries to force matters at a family dinner, even grandma Fiddah is disgusted with her daughter, as is Tariq, who a few years ago would have been agreeing with his mother. The dislike and prejudice against a police officer for her niece hits a raw point with another and Aaliyah soon finds herself with more supporters for her new relationship than detractors. It will be a difficult decision for her to make, but her love for Joseph was meant to be and she won’t give up on her second chance at love! A lovely round up of the rest of the family and their status quo, a few years after these events takes place, at the end of the book which makes a lovely ending. Easy as a standalone book, but so much more interesting of you have read the rest of the series. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Leslie North has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Aaliyah and Joseph. Aaliyah and Joseph had been a couple until her aunt and uncle broke them up because her aunt didn't think he was good enough for her. She has made plans with her cousin-in-laws and her friends for a get away weekend to a spa resort. On the way to the resort, Aaliyah gets pulled over for speeding. When the officer comes up to the car, she sees that it is Joseph. He acts like he doesn't know who she is. Later that night the girls have gone to the bar to get some drinks and Aaliyah gets bothered by a man she wants nothing to do with. Later that night Aaliyah and her girlfriends go to the street fair and are dancing when the same man grabs Aaliyah and starts dancing with her. Joseph and his partner are working the street fair when the mood in the crowd shifts just before a fight. He had just taken a bite of his sandwich when he hears raised voices on the next block where the street had been roped off for dancing. He throws his dinner into the trash and rushes to the toward the disturbance with Mahmoud. At first he can't tell what is going on, The raised voices and agitation came from a small group out on the dance floor—a cluster of eight or ten people circled a man and woman. The women in the group was trying to get to the dancing couple while the men were laughing and keeping them back. At first it looked like a game. Then Joseph saw the look on the dancing woman's face and she was angry and scared. And she was familiar. Aaliyah. Joseph blew his whistle and the group parted so he could get through. The women went to the one dancing and one of them told the man to let her go. The man said they were just dancing. Joseph strode up. “Remove your hands from the lady,” he ordered. “We were just dancing!” the man insisted. “Did she agree to dance? She doesn’t look like she’s having fun.” “You know how women are.” Joseph starts asking questions and the answers he gets shows the man doesn't know how to take No for an answer. Things happen and the man gets arrested and this allows Joseph to talk to Aaliyah alone. Joseph takes Aaliyah's statement and then drives her back to the hotel where she is staying. He asked her if she would like to get a cup of coffee with him on his next day off. She agrees to the date. They talk about the past on their coffee date and he tells her that now he found her again, he is not letting her go. When her friends leave, she stays for a few days so that she can be with Joseph. He ends up spending the night with her on her last night in town. He tells her that they will make is work this time. When she gets back home, she tells her aunt and uncle about Joseph. Her aunt is not happy about Aaliyah being with a police officer. She wants her with someone high class. This caused Aaliyah to have words with her aunt. Joseph has made plans to come to Aaliyah's family dinner so that he could meet her family but it doesn't go so well since her aunt causes trouble between the family and this makes Aaliyah leave her aunt's home and go stay with her brother Tariq and Sara. Aaliyah's aunt wants to talk to her and asked her to come to her house. When Aaliyah gets there, things do not go well for her. Her aunt has invited the same man who grabbed her at the street fair is there and her aunt won't let her leave. Joseph calls Sara to see if Aaliyah is there and when told she isn't he starts to worry. He is told that she was going to her aunt's house to see her that afternoon. Aaliyah is done with her aunt after the trick she pulled that day. She packs the things she wants and waits until she can leave without her aunt and uncle knowing. Joseph and Aaliyah's family are at her aunt's house getting ready to come in when she is walking out. She runs to Joseph and tells him what happened. He decides that he is taking her back home with him. Will things work out between Aaliyah and Joseph? Will Aaliyah forgive her aunt for the things she has done? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Sheikha's Determined Police Officer is the fourth book in the Botros Brother's series by Leslie North. Although this book focuses on a new couple, there is plenty happening with the couple from book 1 (Sara and Tariq) and book 2 (Soraya and Amir).
I will admit, I read books 2, 3 and 4 of this book one after the other and so for me part of my opinion is coloured by what I know happens. However, the reason I really wanted to mention that was that I noticed a shift in writing style by North between book 1 and the rest of the series. It isn't a bad thing, it's just interesting and also means that it is now vital to read this series in order to understand the plot and the character dynamics. The last three books seem to read like three parts of the same book as the series turns into an ongoing thing that looks at the POV of multiple characters, especially the couples from book 1 (Tariq and Sara) and book 2 (Amir and Soraya). It seems we are officially in soap opera territory and I love it.
However, book 4 gives us insight into the life and romance of Amir and Tariq's cousin, Aaliyah, who was raised with her cousins after being orphaned. Aaliyah is a vibrant and determined young woman, who shines brightly despite the pressure she receives for just being a member of the very rich and influential Botros family. She loves the wives of her cousins, Sara and Soraya are among her dearest friends. When Soraya and Aliyah join Sara on a business trip, Aaliyah meets her childhood sweetheart, Joseph.
Joseph and Aaliyah are a very sweet couple and I was cheering for them from the get go. They have romance, love and chemistry. He's just an ordinary bloke from an ordinary family - and a police officer! - which we just know her uncle and aunt will create trouble for their niece. The Botros kids are just lucky that they have such a supportive grandmother, who happens to be one of my favourite characters in this series. I like how the author has dealt with the "trouble making".
Although predictable at places, I have really enjoyed both this book and series. I recommend this to anyone with a penchant for rich men with hearts of gold, strong women (bonus points if you like a hot, protective sheikh).

Aaliyah has watched her cousins fall in love. She wants what they have. The girls went on a trip. Aaliyah was driving and got stopped by a police officer for speeding. When she saw who it was she couldn’t believe it. It was Joseph her first love. When they were teenagers her family didn’t approve of him. He didn’t want her to choose between him and her family so he let her go. Her girls were making comments about him. She kept quiet. He didn’t say he knew her either. At the resort a man came up to her. She politely dismissed him and when they went to the street fair that man approached her. His friends held back her friends. Joseph was on duty. He went to where the commotion was. He saw her. He started asking questions and the man was arrested for his comments and the way he forced Aaliyah to dance with him. Joseph took her statement. These two have had it rough. This time Joseph will not let her go no matter what her family thinks. Her cousins married below their station why are they given her a hard way to go. Aaliyah invites him to dinner. Her aunt treats him badly. Again they try to make her chose him or her family. They want someone who can take care of her. Fiddah accepts him immediately. The family doesn’t know her father was a police officer. The family has money and status but they don’t know their history. Aaliyah moves in with Sara and Tariq. She wants Joseph he was her first and only love They have a fight on their hands her cousin wife makes Tariq see reason. Joseph refuses to let her go. She stays with Joseph and he doesn’t want her to go. Their upbringing was different but she is willing to learn. She has always had people waiting on her she has to learn how to do things herself. Good story! The whole series was great!.

I loved seeing Tariq and Sara, Amir and Soraya, the kids, and Fiddah all again. Mr & Mrs. Botros not so much. Aaliyah, Sara, Soraya, and twins Kaleena and Keira, all go on a spa get away. Aaliyah drove and gets pulled over by a police officer on the way- Joseph Samara. He was Aaliyah’s high school sweetheart, that she gave up because the Botros’ would lose their minds over a boy in his standing. They reconnect and are still drawn to each other. Sadly, they were right about the elder Botros’. My heart broke for them as they are perfect for each other. Everyone learns about the hows of the relationships between Tariq and Sara and Amir and Soraya happened. Everyone had always sheltered and protected Aaliyah and she was sick of it! How was she to have a life? At a street fair the women attended, a very wealthy man grabs Aaliyah and forces her to dance with him, his friends keeping the other women at bay. Thank goodness Joseph shows up. Things come to a head. I want to throw up over the forceful dude. Fiddah’s community center for women is so cool. I love her so much for it. I can’t understand why Aaliyah was forced to not go to school etc. I love how Joseph and Aaliyah reconnect and realize that they were meant for each other. They are so cute together. Joseph is amazing. He is a cop, as well as a coach and does a lot for his community. World War family erupts when the elder Botros couple find out about them. We find out that there was more to Mrs. Botros’ nasty response all these years. I’m glad there was a reason and that she wasn’t just a …. Bleep. I wish there were more books but this is the last in the series. I hope the author comes back later with books about the kids. I would love to read books about Leylah and the twin boys. As well as all of the kids. Oh and a prequel about Fiddah and her husband. It sounds like it was a bit of a doozy.

Sheikha’s Determined Police Officer brings the Botros Brothers series to a satisfying end while giving us a couple who will fight hard for their happy ending… with unexpected champions on their side. I’ve enjoyed how this series was paced out with a slight continuation of the previous couple’s romance while diving into that particular book’s couple. It did away with the “I wonder how things turned out for them” into a very enjoyable glance into each couple’s future.
Aaliyah’s and Joseph’s romance is, well, adorable, but it’s also a powerful message of love overcoming circumstances and learning how to stand up for what’s right for not only you but the one you love as well. I loved seeing this couple reunited, and their romance has moments of sweet and then spice perfectly balanced. Without giving away spoilers, there is one character I absolutely loathed, and I’m imagining that it won’t take you long to feel the same way about them. Watching Joseph and Aaliyah grow stronger in their feelings for each other, to be willing to oust themselves from their families should they not approve, and seeing the ultimate ending for them both was such a powerful, emotional experience.
I had such a good time here, and I’m sad to see it come to an end. If you enjoy a well-written, emotional, sexy, satisfying romance, then you should be checking out this series soon.

BLURB: Aaliyah Botros is beginning to wonder if she’ll ever get her chance at love. Her two best friends are both in happy relationships. But Aaliyah’s insanely overprotective family seem determined to fend off any potential suitors.
When she bumps into her old flame Joseph, she’s delighted to find that he’s just as charming as ever. In fact, he’s even more handsome, muscular and disarming than she remembered. But despite the connection she still feels in her heart, Aaliyah knows her family will never approve.
Joseph can’t believe his luck, running into Aaliyah after all this time. He never stopped thinking about her after high school. While he may be a respected police officer in his community, he knows it won’t be so easy to earn the respect of the aristocratic Botros family.
It only takes one magical night to reignite the passion between Aaliyah and Joseph, but with her strict family standing in the way, is their relationship doomed from the start?
MY REVIEW: I enjoyed this fourth installment in the Botros Brothers series, and while it is part of a series, you could read this as a standalone.
This was a sun ‘second chance’ trope and I especially enjoyed the meddling family. I liked watching Aaliyah grow in confidence and independence and stand up for herself and for her relationship with Joseph, I like that they complimented each other.
A fun, quick read finished in an hour.

Aaliyah lost her parents at young age, so she was raised by her uncle and aunt, Tariq and Amir’s parents. Growing up, Aaliyah is essentially the sheikhs’ little sister. They are very protected of her. She was discouraged to go to college by her uncle and aunt due to old tradition that a woman with status does not work on a job. She is at loose end. One trip with her sisters-in-law and girlfriends out of town, she runs into her childhood love Joseph, who is a police officer now and even more handsome. They gave up their love at teenage because of her family’s disapproval of Joseph’s family background. Now they are adults. After rekindling the love between them, they refuse to give up again. They are put through the ringers by her family, especially her aunt. Aaliyah tries to take a more traditional route by staying with Tariq and Sara and hope her aunt will relent. But her aunt tries to abduct her and force her to marry a man who behaved forcefully with Aaliyah at the street fair. No one can blame Aaliyah moving in with Joseph after the incident. This is the bright and joyful part of the family saga. I love their grade grandmother who always keeps a young mind and loves her many grade grandchildren. Love is the main ingredient to family unity and prosperity.
Real Love Is Worth Fighting For. READ THE FIRST THREE BOOKS BEFORE STARTING THIS ONE!! Fantastic ending for an amazing series. Joseph let her go once so she wouldn’t have to choose between him and her family. He’s not about to make that mistake again. He wii fight for her this time. Aliyah is determined to make her own decisions from now on and that includes who she loves. When Joseph comes for a family dinner to meet everyone things don’t go well with her Aunt and Uncle. Her Aunt tells her that she has to choose and is furious when she leaves with Joseph. When her Aunt seems to have a change of heart and invites Aliyah for lunch she’s happy for the apology. She soon discovers that it’s a trap and her Aunt expects her to marry the man who attacked her. When she attempts to leave she finds that her car keys and purse have been confiscated. She locks herself in her old room while planning a way out. Joseph is worried when he can’t reach Aaliyah and even more so when her cousin calls looking for her since she didn’t come home. Will they find Aaliyah before Crazy Auntie carries out her plans for her? Tune in, folks! This is devious scheming at its finest!.

Fighting For Their Second Chance - Aaliyah was shocked but elated when she realised the police the who conducted the traffic stop was none other than her high school sweetheart, but he didn’t act like he remembered her. Joseph was happy to see Aaliyah again years later, but he didn’t think he would get an opportunity to pursue her again. Luckily they met again when Joseph stepped in to rescue her and decided to take the chance when he discovered she was single.
Unfortunately, the obstacle to them pursuing a forever relationship was still the same as adults, but this time Aaliyah decided to stand up for herself and fight for wha5 she wants. It took Aaliyah walking away from her parents and the intervention of her other family members for her parents to realise they had no control over what she did. They finally acknowledged that they had to accept Aaliyah and Joseph’s relationship or lose out on a lot more that just Aaliyah.
This was a great story to read, with wonderful characters and enough drama to keep you turning the pages. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop until I reached the end. It is a definite must read book.

Aaliyah lost her parents as a child and was raised by her aunt and uncle. She has lived the life of a rich girl but she's restless and feels useless. When she goes for a girl's weekend with her friends, she run into her former boyfriend, Joseph. He has never forgotten her and he feels that this is his chance to become a permanent part of her life. Can they find a way back to each other? Can they overcome their differences?
This story is the end of the Botros series so the author allows each of the couple from the prior stories to have their moments. You really need to read the other stories before you read this one. Aaliyah has a big growth curve in this story. She starts out without any direction in her life but finds her own strength and direction by the end. It was nice to see how she grew and became a good match for Joseph. There is one scene where I was rooting for her as she pushed back against other's expectations. Joseph is pretty much fully formed at the beginning of the story. He is just a nice character to pair with Aaliyah. Overall, this was a good ending to the series. I enjoyed the epilogue and was glad it was included.

Long-lost sweethearts reunited Sheikha's Determined Police Officer (Botros Brothers Book 4) by Leslie North is not only the final book in this wonderful series, but probably the sweetest. This love story is delivered to us by the grace and forethought of fate and absolutely meant to be. Aaliyah is beyond ecstatic at finding Joseph once again and Joseph is just as thrilled. And I absolutely adore Fiddah! She is a force to be reckoned with and a true ally for Aaliyah and Joseph. Once again, determination is challenged by none other than Aaliyah's Aunt! For poor Aaliyah, she seems to have become completely unhinged and employs trickery to get her way. There's a bit of heart pounding fear and heartbreak as a result of the plans to bring Aaliyah around to her Aunt's way of thinking. Through it all, once again readers of this series get a front row seat to Tariq and Sara loving life along with Amir and Soraya, Malik and Lana. Overall, neither no one nor nothing can compare to the determination of a couple in love. Aaliyah and Joseph get their much deserved and long awaited HEA. And the epilogue is spectacular, heartwarming and full of joy, family and love! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.
We are back in the world of the Botros Brothers, and family.
Aaliyah and Joseph had a long history as first loves. At that time they were young, and her family didn't approve of Joseph. He didn't want her to lose her family. He didn't want her to have to choose, so they parted ways.
They meet randomly when she gets pulled over in the city he was working in. She didn't think he's even remember her. He didn't bring it up.
He came to save the day when Aaliyah get another man who doesn't want to take no for an answer. He protects her, and lets her know he has never forgotten about him, and AAliyah was the same.
This sweet story really does things outside the norm of tradition, but SO totally works. They really had such deep rooted love for each other that shines just as bright 6 years later.
I enjoyed the story. I appreciated Leslie let us wrap up the story with history from everyone involved. I still wish Malik had a story, but beggars can't be choosers. Please give this series a read. a REAL read. It got great flow to it, and you can seamlessly jump from book to book as it is almost a complete series you don't even realize how easy it flows.
I’ve loved every book in this series and it’s sad that this is the final book of the Botros Family. Sheikha’s Aaliyah Botros has lead a sheltered and protected life after her parents died and her Aunt and Uncle raised her but they where strict and and even broke p her High School relationship with Joseph who they thought he wasn’t good enough and this broke both there hearts but she never forgot about him. Joseph is a very well respected Police Officer and loves his job and when he pulls over a car speeding he realizes that its the one that got away Aaliyah his high school sweetheart and now finding her again after 6yrs he vows to not let her get away and be damned what her family thinks of him. Aaliyah can’t believe her eyes that its the love of her life standing before her big strong and very sexy and after the incident with the rich stranger groping her he asks he out on a date and the burning hot chemistry has them spending a very hot and steamy night together before she heads home. Can she stand up to her Aunt and Uncle and the rest of the family and have the man of her dreams that will fight for her and never let her go. Brilliant book.

Second Chance at Love Sheikha Aaliyah is surrounded by couples in love and having children. Though she has family and friends around her she is very lonely for love. After her parents died she was taken in by her Aunt and Uncle and they raised her in the strict old ways. She was not allowed to go to college or get a job. She just sits around looking beautiful and bored out of her mind. They intend to set up an arranged marriage for Aaliyah but she is rebelling. When she was in high school Aaliyah fell in love with a boy, Joseph, but her Aunt felt he was beneath them. Aaliyah never got over Joseph and it turns out he never forgot his love for her. On a girls' mini vacation Aaliyah and Joseph bump into each other and the magical spark is still there. They are going to try again in spite of her Aunt. There’s a lot of anger and threats but with the encouragement of the Botros family and Joseph, Aaliyah breaks free, finds her true love, and has a surprise. The story has a wonderful happy ending for Joseph and Aaliyah and all the Botros family. I received a free advanced copy of this story from Booksprout and this is my opinion. Linda

Raised by her aunt and uncle Aaliyah Botros gave up her love years ago when Joseph broke up with her so she wouldn’t have to choose between them or him. She wonders is she will ever find love again as her friends and family are now in happy relationships that she wants for herself. She goes on a short trip with four special women to have a little fun while Sara is there to see a project sight. She gets stopped for speeding by none other than Joseph, her lost love who is now a police officer. When they go to a street fair, and she is accosted with unwanted advances it turned out that Joseph is one of the police that came to her aid. It didn’t take them long to realize they were really waiting for each other, but will they find happiness as her aunt and uncle are totally against this relationship and her aunt’s betrayal was really the final straw. I totally loved the grandmother throughout this series.

This is a wonderful series and Aaliyah and Joseph’s story was emotional at times. They met in high school and fell in love but her aunt, who raised her after her parents died, did not approve of Joseph’s social standing. According to her aunt, he was beneath her and would ruin the appearance of the Botros family.she forced Aaliyah to choose her family or Joseph. They would disown her. Now 6 years later, he is a police officer that is respected and loved on his community. He is determined not to let her go again. A wonderful storyline and super characters. I loved how Aaliyah stood up for herself and let her aunt know she wouldn’t be controlling her life or arranging who she would marry. Great series.

I absolutely loved Sheikha’s Determined Police Officer Book 4 of Botros Brothers. In the conclusion of the Botros family we have Aaliyah and Joseph. He had been her first everything but he walked away when her family wouldn’t approve of him. He has become a respected police officer and when her reconnects with Aaliyah, he won’t let her go this time. He will fight for her and she for him. She will not let her family control her. Once again Mama Botros tries to interfere and causes problems but this story would have an amazing ending. The Botros family have all found love and a HEA. I just absolutely loved this storyline and all the characters. I loved how all their lives and stories intersected. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series. You will not be disappointed.

This is the 4th book in the Botros Brothers series featuring Joseph and Aaliyah's second chance romance. When Aaliyah goes on a girl's trip with the women in her family she gets pulled over by the police. Imagine her surprise when the officer turns out to be Joseph her first love who was everything to her but he was forced to walk away when her family wouldn't approve of him. Joseph can't believe that it's Aaliyah and he knows that he's not letting her go again that he'll fight for her and Aaliyah isn't going to let go of Joseph so easy either she's going to fight for him she'll stand up to her family if she has to. You really need to read this second chance romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

When Aaliyah and the rest go away for a girls treat away, she is pulled over for speeding by none other than her high school sweetheart that she let walk away, rather than make her choose between him and her family. Joseph is very happy to see his past and only love. He tried to forget her but didn’t succeed, now here she is again and he is determined to try to win her again. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy he is back. This was a great read: Aaliyah and Joseph are obviously made for each other, but nothing about them getting together is going to be easy. There is a betrayal, some laughs and of course, a lovely romance and the epilogue ties all their futures together satisfactorily. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
Aaliyah Botros feels left out as all her other close female friends have found their one true love while she was still out there floundering. That was soon going to be coming to an end as they were heading for some girls time. Little did Aaliyah know, but she was going to meet a blast from her past. Joseph Samara, her high school boyfriend was about to reappear in a big way in her life. This time he was not planning on leaving. He was more mature and established in his community knowing what he wanted out of life. For Aaliyah, he had always been it, but her family thought she could do better. An amazing story so fitting to end this outstanding series.

This is book 4 in North's Botros Brothers series. This book follows Aaliyah's story - raised by her uncle and aunt (Tariq and Amir’s parents) after her parents died, she is floundering her way thru life with overbearing and overprotective family members. Will Aaliyah find her HEA in a chance meeting with her high school sweetheart and first love? A beautiful second chance romance, wonderfully delivered in a smooth flowing storyline that is sure to captivate with it's wonderful characters. Loved this read and this series!

Aaliyah had had one love, Joseph, but he is a police officer so too low class for her aunt and uncle, the choice them or him, Joseph decided that he had to go, that was several years ago. Now she's off for a girly few days with her sisters in law and cousins, she gets stopped for driving too fast, it's Joseph, does he recognise her? He does! Later they go to a fair and the man who was bothering her at the hotel is there, Joseph saves her, will they be able to get together again, for good, or will her family stop it again? This is Book 4 in the Botros Brothers Series. It is a stand-alone of sorts but you would enjoy it much more if you had read the entire series as the previous couples as in this book and are part of the plot. I adored this book just as much as I did the other 3! Leslie develops her characters so well in this series I loved seeing all of them pop up in all of the books. This last book did not disappoint for sure!! I am sorry to see it all end but I loved the Epilogue so very much, it was perfect!! Do yourself a favor and grab this series!.

Teenage sweethearts Aaliyah and Joseph came from very different backgrounds and when their relationship was discovered Joseph called time on it to save Aaliyah from having to choose between him or her family. Years later they accidentally cross paths again and it is clear the attraction remains. This time around they are adults but again problems arise when her Aunt attempts to interfere. They love and support each other and will not allow her to come between them again. Having the support of other family members has a different outcome this time around.
Love catching up with Sara and Soraya and their husbands from the other books in the series, a wonderfully entertaining series.
This was a wonderful series and I recommend starting at the beginning, some characters will reappear in other stories. We get the last story and this time it's Joseph and Aaliyah's turn, they've known each other since high school but because her aunt and uncle didn't think he was good enough for her they split up, which I actually thought was stupid. But luckily the feelings are still there when they meet again years later. Let's hope they take the second chance and don't care about her aunt and uncle. This is highly recommended reading.

Waiting What would it be like to have your family dictate who you can associate with? Aaliyah was that young lady even though she rebelled against the restrictions she was still held back. Spending time with her new sisters helped in many ways especially when she gets stopped for having a lead foot. Can meeting her past lead to happiness or will her family step in to trample that happiness as they did in the past? Can Joseph prove that he is worthy of Aaliyah or will the status differences be too much?.

Sheikha's Determined Police Officer is the fourth book in the Botros Brothers series and it is about the younger sister of the family. This is a second chance romance story about Aaliyah Botros and Joseph Samara. They had been high school sweethearts but went their different ways after graduation because Aaliyah knew that her family would not accept Joseph. When they reconnect it is fireworks all over again....but what will the family think. This book also has the other siblings and their spouses and now children intertwined in the story, so I would recommend reading this series in order as each book builds on the previous in little ways.
Aaliyah's parents had died and she was raised by Tariq's parents. On a girls trip, she runs into Joseph, who had been her high school sweetheart. They started seeing each other again, and fell in love again (or yet). Tariq's mother was not having it and made it so uncomfortable, that Aaliyah moved out. It even got worse, so she moved in with Joseph. Fiddah was happy for them and supported themm 100%. It was a very good story about families and what is important.
