This book is a collection of various short stories dealing with a wide range of subjects: from sweet love to horror, vampires to werewolves, and even other worlds.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and getting to know the many authors who contributed. There wasn't a story I didn't like.

If you enjoy fantasy/paranormal/scifi, you'll enjoy reading the tales in this book.

I have two stories in this anthology, so I didn't count them. I rated the single stories and half of them are five stars! :) The other half takes down the count, and that's why the whole anthology has only 4...

Short story anthologies are tough to rate. Inevitably there are first rate reads mixed in with the only okay. In this case, one DNF where I found the writing style so stiff I couldn't get past the first few pages.

So, I love horror and I love short stories. Give me both in one book... let's just say this is going to be a good review. Oh-and I just checked-its still Free!
Gear yourself up for some tortured tales that will have you flipping those pages rapid fire. Strange Portals has got you covered from vampires to werewolves, from pixies to leprechauns, from Santa's reindeer to Satan's limo.
Take a tunnel to a bleak future Earth where people can't breath the air anymore and are getting ready to go to Mars.

Maybe it wasn't fair for me to read this book. I'm not a fan of horror or short stories, but my daughter has a story in the book so of course I had to read it. I also found an author whose books I want to read.
