This is a story that reaffirms the good in people...it reminds us that although we may not think we are good enough because of some flaw in our looks, body, even character, there is hopefully someone out there that shows us that we matter, flaws and all! Brinn has an issue that she has never been as pretty as her sister, or the beautiful cheerleader that got the boy she wanted. So when she is dumped by her boyfriend she returns home to Powder Springs to work in the bakery her family founded and ...more

Great little holiday novella, about second chances for love. Tyler has had a crappy marriage - and a beautiful daughter. Brinn has also been betrayed by love, and instead of being able to lick her wounds in peace, has to be on display for the whole small town to see,

Disclaimer: I'm personally acquainted with Maggie Marr (in fact, one of the characters ALMOST has my name, what a giggle that was, coming across it) but did actually buy my own copy, and read it because I am a fan of her excellent wr

Could have been better...

Some elements of this story were good. I liked the idea that Brinn and Tyler were both recovering from failed relationships and suffering insecurity. However, I was so put off by the ending. It seemed like the author was told you have to end the book in the next 5 pages and Go!

Really cute book. Only goes to show that you never know how someone feels unless you give them a chance to share.

A love story with a lot of snow.

The story of Brinn Bertoli and her family. Brinn and her mother own and run a bakery in a Colorado resort town called Powder Springs. Brinn feels a bit like an ugly duckling but she isn't. She is a compassionate, loving and giving person. Come and visit with the town's people and enjoy their idiosyncrasies and Christmas holidays.
