A brilliant twist to a popular genre. From the first chapter, I was begging to know what was going to happen next. You are immediately thrown into a situation in the book that causes the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on end. The vivid images that rattled around in my mind caused my breath to catch in my throat and the onomatopoeia was utilized perfectly. The characters are well portrayed; there is of course the strong, sullen type, the comic relief and the banter that can be found in a ...more

Erran was being brutally beaten to a pulp.
Detective Artie Franco (DP/D) met Dianne (Artie ex-wife, DP/D) at the Police academy. They had 2 children together Clara, & Kyle.
Dianne was screwing around on him & they got a divorced. He got full custody of the 2 kids.
He soon rekindle his relationship with Lilly (nee Belgard, HS sweetheart, step-mother, finance). They got married & had their 5th wedding anniversary at the Signature Room & Restaurant.
They both enjoyed sex.

Recommends it for: ALL
I read the exert that was made available through Amazon and from the first sentence i was hooked. Unable to physically stop myself from reading on. The story itself draws you into it. Your surrounding world drains away and all you are left with is the want, no, the need to continue reading.

I don't give out 5 star reviews lightly, in my opinion a 5 star review is reserved for 'important' or 'memorable' books. Books that i would refer on to my friends and family, titles that stay with me and i us

Recommends it for: suspense thriller, Lauren Bradshaw fans

I received a free kindle copy of Daddy's Girl by Lauren Bradshaw, published by Xlibris in an Amazon promotion in exchange for a fair review. I gave it four stars. The large amount of typos, spelling & grammatical errors cost it a full star.

It is a fast moving suspense filled thriller. The grisly graphic events show the inhumanity of man to man but they advance the storyline. The characters are well drawn & the dialogue is crisp. It kept me guessing & I like that in a book.

I was given an electronic copy of this book for an honest review. This novel surrounds Detective Artie Franco and the Major Case Unit as they race to find a killer. The story went where I expected it to go, but this really was not a detraction. For the most part, the plot and the characters were well defined. The biggest problem that I had with this novel were the numerous grammatical and typographical errors. With some polishing and final editing, I think that this book has the makings of a goo ...more
