PRINCESS. Luella Eritrais is a fae of many faces. Shunned, magicless Princess of Solis. War trophy to the dragon King. Vincire to five powerful males. The Chosen. And now, the lost Princess of Luna. Her power is building, and this time, she’s not sure she wants to stop it. But to keep those she loves safe from the storms she carries, she must uncover the truth of her heritage—and pay whatever price it demands.
UNBOUND.
The revelation of her wings ignites a desperate chase for the mage who glamored them. Luella and her Vincire embark on a voyage to find the prior Prima, hoping for answers. The secrets they uncover on the wind-swept archipelago known as the Fallen Isles are more grave than she imagined. Surrounded by the males she’s beginning to trust, Luella must learn to fly, or risk being caged by her own body.
STOLEN.
Their fragile sanctuary shatters too soon. The Tenebrae and his Umbra arrive, and not even newfound allies can keep Luella safe. Stolen once more, she is forced to confront a darkness so terrible that even the King and his den of serpents seem like a mercy. Luna. Her home by birthright, but not a place she wishes to claim—not now. Blood pools fill the throne room, heads on spikes decorate the halls, and on the throne sits her true enemy: the Tenebrae, the god of darkness who seeks to shape her into a weapon. To survive, she must fight to hold onto her sanity, and the promise of her Vincire.

Absolutely unreal. I don’t think I have words left in my body to express what this book means to me and how much I love it!!!!!
This series in general is one of my favorite things ever, but this book took it to a new level. Books one and two were like a warm hug, very indulgent and just everything I love in a slow burn book. This one was rough. Not because of the writing or length. All of those things absolutely excelled in this one. I’m talking about the darkness. This book dove a lot deeper into the violence and trauma and just overall terrible things. I was absolutely floored throughout all of part three. I think my jaw unhinged at the very last line of part two (ifykyk) and didn’t close even after I finished the book. There were SO many answers to questions I had in books one and two, and also I have even more questions after finishing this one.
The set up for hurt/comfort in book four is there and I’m SO excited for it!!!! I can’t wait to see Luella in the aftermath. Her character growth was so personal to me. She’s still so sweet, but definitely grew a lot. I loved that her stutter was acknowledged in a way (more in her internal dialogue) and that she started to overcome it. I would think that the events at the end would make her regress, but she only grew stronger. I was so proud of her for how she stood up for herself and others in captivity.
And the guys! Don’t even get me started. Their character growth in this one was unreal! I especially loved Graves. I was wondering why in book two we didn’t get very long chapters from his pov, and I could definitely see why in this book. He had so many secrets and they’re so heartbreaking. I also loved the Tharen reveal with the Solstice and Luella’s wings. It’s sweet she would feel safe with him even though she doesn’t really acknowledge it yet. I felt like Vale took a bit of a back seat in this one, but the ending scene made up for all of it. My eyes were so blurry I could barely see the screen.
Now excuse me, because I’ll be thinking of this book for the rest of my life…
⛄️ Unhinged MMC’s ⛄️ Touch her and 💀 ⛄️ They’re soft for only her ⛄️ RH - MMMFMM ⛄️ Innocent/Soft FMC but strong ⛄️ Caretaking - Lots of Hurt/Comfort ⛄️ Dark ⛄️ Captor/Captives
So much more! Check out the TWs before reading.
GOODNESS. Might I say this is my favourite book from the series. We’ve come such a long way 😭 Oh my goodness I don’t know how to put this into words. The growth of all the characters and each individual one is insane.
Plot - 10/10. Character development - 10/10. Characters 10/10
WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS HIDING. There were so many moments that had me at the edge of my seat. Luella has gone through so much in this one and it’s breaking my heart, but i’m a lover for books that does just that, twists it in the craziest ways possible. I cried for her lots in this one, it felt like she was almost giving up but trying her hardest not to UGH I CANT. “for the softly strong female she was becoming” I don’t think i’ll ever stop thinking about this book.
The depth in these characters 🤌 gorgeously done. I don’t even think I have a favourite MMC and that is TELLING. Each one has their own uniqueness to them with similarities but usually with so many MMCs it’s so difficult to differentiate personalities for each one but this is done in a way that is so intricate I love. I love love seeing Az and Lu together, and how safe she feels with him and Bastian. Then Graves HIS STORY BROKE ME 🥹 I CANTTT.
I cannot WAIT to see Vale and Tharen’s growth in the following books because I JUST KNOWWWW ITS GONNA EAT. The way it’s set up right now UGH I CANNOT WAIT.
I also wish I could highlight every single part of this book because the amount of lines where I was just like WOW BEAUTIFUL “highlighting that” 🤌
AND CAN WE TALK ABT THE TITLES OF THE CHAPTERS! I love how creative they are and honestly like the amount of detail put into everything, this right here is a work of art.
If you haven’t already read this series, this is your sign to pick it up NOW!
I've been waiting in anticipation for this third installment in the Moon Song series for months now and it did not disappoint at all. In fact, this book blew me away and somehow exceeded my expectations. Like how?! The genius that you are Micah Nicole.
This book picks up right where book two ended and so you're thrown in the midst of an epic scene that has you hitting the ground running and immediately hooked. I loved the plot progression in this book (especially in part three, like wtf did I just read?!) and you get to see more expansion of the world. The world-building is written so beautifully and smoothly into the story that I could picture everything so vividly.
And the characters! Oh my god, the character development that continues to take place in this book is absolutely stunning and real and raw. Micah Nicole does such a great job writing her characters that they feel like real people with so much depth to them. Luella is such a sweet, soft girl that has been through it. I love the slow progression of her character development. The attention to detail with her trauma and her learning to see her own strength is remarkable. It feels so relatable and genuine that I can't help but root for her every step of the way. As for the guys, I have no favorites. Put a gun to my head and I still won't be able to choose! They each have such unique personalities and depth to their characters. I loved the direction Micah took with Luella's relationship with each of the guys. And that ending?! *cue the fat tears pouring down my face* I need the next book immediately!
Ugh, I wish I could better express how much I love this series. This book was a thick one and I read it in under two days. I can't get enough of Micah's writing and cannot wait to see where book four will take us!!
Hmmm… I’m conflicted. After reading over 700 pages I feel like I can’t give this three stars, but no rating above feels right and nothing below four stars also feels right.
The one thing about this series that makes me so mad is that she still hasn’t leaked how to control her magic. The first half of this book was literally them traveling trying to find people to help her with her magic, just for nothing to happen. She wanted to learn how to fly, so I’m sure with a little push she would have wanted to learn how to control her magic. There is also still very little romantic and plot development… this series is starting to feel drawn out.
The Tenebrae capturing her and everything that went on made me feel sick. The fact that the three men she felt most comfortable with, Az, Bastian, and Graves, were used by him to get her to give in, and now she no longer feels safe with them is devastating. Also, the fact he cut one of her wings off was horrifying. Finally, the ending was kind of dumb because you are telling me he literally had a hold of her, yet left her and portaged away… not believable.

2.5 stars. In some ways better than the last book, but definitely struggled with pacing. The ending also felt like it was dark for the sake of being dark and not really advancing the plot.
