I enjoyed this book. Might have given it 5 stars except the protagonist was a Green Bay Packer fan.
It was a fun, positive Wisconsin/Illinois read. I loved the settings--Pearl Lake and Chicago. The people of the town were true Wisconsin. All-in-all, it was a fun, cozy mystery.
It was well-written and edited. However, it was almost too positive. The good guys were good, and although the bad guy seemed good, he was the only anomoly.
It was unique in the fact that the main culprit turned out to be a friend of the protagonist.
I will definitely look for more of Griesbach's works.

Small town living
Very good read, done in a manner to keep reader interested without profanity. I enjoy a mystery that doesn't use extreme profanity. The story line wandered a bit, but I stayed interested. Would definitely recommend to a fellow mystery buff!

Enjoyed the Read
This was an enjoyable book particularly because I'm from Wisconsin and I live on a lake.. kept me interested and felt like home.

Different
This was my first book from this author. It was enjoyable but not quite what I was hoping for. In my mind I would call it an ok read, it just took to long to get going. I for one enjoy a book that within the first twenty five pages grabs my attention and doesn't stop from there. This just didn't do it. I was hoping it would be like Wisconsin author Victoria Houston's Loon Lake Mystery series, Victoria is one of my top 5 favorite authors. Keep at it Mr. Greisbach.

Was not sure how things would tie together

Enjoyable read.
I enjoyed reading this book. The combination of mystery and a bit of Native American heritage was very interesting. I hope this author writes more novels in the future.
