An Unbreakable Bond Morgan Carter is a claimed werewolf. Only her mate, Greyson Crawford, has the right to protect her, and to love her. But that hasn’t stopped rival packs from challenging Greyson’s claim. Morgan is the last silver wolf—the only female with the ability to produce werewolf offspring, which means there are many who would defy pack law to make her their own.
An Unstoppable Evil When war comes to the Silver Wolf Clan on the eve of The Summit, Morgan and Greyson have no choice but to fight for their kind. With the arrival of an ancient enemy, the two realize that the war has only just begun, and to survive the greatest threat they have ever faced, they must learn to trust each other again…
Born and raised in small town Texas, Tera Shanley grew up in books. Her cousin gifted her a signed copy of Beauty by Bill Wallace when she was young and that was it for her. So smitten was she with getting lost in a story, that while other eleven year olds her age were groaning at the accelerated reader program in school, she was racking up the points just for fun.
Balancing chronic book-wormyness is her devotion to the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, camping - her soul is happiest out of doors. And lucky for Tera, her family feels the same. She grew up a wild child helping her grandma ranch cattle, and has a hundred memories out in the wilderness which tend to influence her books.
When she's not eating chocolate, slinging rifles, or soaking up some sun, she's lost in a book, but these days it's more often one she's writing. From historic western romance, to paranormal romance, to apocalyptic (zombie) romance, the genre doesn't matter quite as much to her as the love story.
She currently lives with her husband and two young children, and is owned by two crazy mini-cujos.
If you have been following my reviews for this series you know that each and every book has fallen short for me in one way or another. I am happy to say that SUMMIT OF THE WOLF was as good as I wanted it to be.
I want to start with some of the things that stuck out to me in SUMMIT OF THE WOLF. Morgan and Grey are finally on the same page and sticking together against others that are trying to take Morgan away. I LOVE that Morgan is willing to fight off the challengers alongside the guys and she is pretty bad-ass. There was a ton of suspense from beginning to end. Between The Summit and the crazy amount of challenges that keep coming in Morgan and Greyson, along with the Dallas pack, have a lot on their shoulders.
I just HAVE to get a few things off my chest .... To the Old Ones and the other wolves that suggested and want Morgan to be bred by multiple males against her will, you're a bunch of douche bags. I wanted to jump into the book and punch you all. And to Alexis, get over yourself, Greyson doesn't want you and never will. You suck. OK that is all.
My fingers are crossed hoping that the next book is as good or is better than SUMMIT OF THE WOLF. I really enjoyed this installment of The Silver Wolf Clan series and I am looking forward to the next book.

Once again, Morgan and Greyson have no choice but to fight for their kind and with the arrival of an ancient enemy, they realize that the war has just begun in this exciting paranormal romance.
The excitement never ends with the Silver Wolf Clan as the challenges keep on coming even though Grey has officially claimed Morgan and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Morgan and Grey along with the Dallas Wolf Pack realize that they have no choice but to attend the Summit. Emotional turbulence flows from every page throughout the story, so be prepared to experience the whole range of emotions…sadness, happiness, anger, frustration, passion and fear. These strong compelling characters continue to demand reader’s attention as they fight for their right to live their life and the fast paced, smooth flowing plot captivates readers with suspense, turmoil and romance while the intriguing events continue to draw the reader in and keep them on their edge of their seat in anticipation of what will happen next (FYI I am already impatient for the next book).
Once again, I was completely caught up in Morgan and Greyson’s story from the very beginning and there was no way I could put it down. I need to warn you that there is a chance for the reader to become over-excited during a couple of well-deserved and needed smackdowns.
There are very few people who are going to look into the mirror and say, ‘That person I see is a savage monster; instead, they make up some construction that justifies what they do. – Noam Chomsky
Morgan set her blazing glare on the stranger. “Why do you want me? You don’t even know me!” “I don’t have to know you. You are Silver Wolf.” Rodrigo said it so matter of fact, as if the title was the only important thing about her. “You will bring honor to any wolf you choose.” Grr. Asshat. He doesn’t even use her name….. And Morgan would sure as sugar rather lick a port-a-potty than be a kidnap victim again. – Morgan, Brand of the Pack: Silver Wolf Clan
They Just. Won’t. Stop. It doesn’t matter that Morgan is mated and happy with Grayson and his Demon Wolf. With Morgan being the last of the Silver Wolves, the only breeders that ever existed, there are those who will not stop until they can capture Morgan and make her a breeder for their pack – a sex slave with no rights, destined to be nothing but a rape victim and ‘puppy mill’. Grayson will never let it happen, and the Dallas Pack is there to help – but how will they ever stop the horror of constant attacks against the packs, attacks meant to capture Morgan, but just might wind up killing her and everyone she loves, including her baby niece, the daughter of Morgan’s sister who was killed by the same werewolf who turned Grayson.
The fourth of the Silver Wolf Clan series picks up where the last books did, ramping up the action and costing the lives of friends. The only hope now is the Summit and, hopefully, pressure from the old ones to stop the attacks and attempted kidnappings, and protect not only Morgan, but tiny Lana and teenaged Marissa. And then there is Gray’s stupid, self-centered, sanctimonious father stepping back into the scene and causing even more havoc. Can we not get a BREAK here?!
“We would have invited you to the wedding, but Grey assured us you were a prick.”
Ha! You tell him, Morgan! "Her control over that pesky middle finger of hers was impressive.”
Of course, it isn’t just the wolves that are a danger. Nope. Let’s add in some ancient vampires to round things out – vampires, who are the very reason Morgan is the last of her kind. Again, a break here?
I am so thrilled I found the first book, the aptly named Silver Wolf Clan. My review rating has risen with each book, to this one, which hits the five-star rating I have been reaching for. A wonderful series!!
I received the books of this series from the publisher in exchange for realistic reviews. This is one of my favorite urban fantasy series, and I highly recommend it.
If you like my reviews, I would be honored if you would leave a “This review was helpful” on Amazon or whichever site you use to purchase your books. Thank you so much!

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***Received the ebook for an honest review, but I bought this book and the rest of the series!
The cover is another beautiful one, but her eyes aren’t big enough to be a focus which is sad! Amazing hair though!
This is the 4th book in the series. Each book is around 100 pages. It is for adults only due to the violence and steamy scenes. I highly recommend reading them in order because it matters!
Okay, it just keeps getting better and better! I loved this one too! I love how strong and fierce Morgan is becoming, and Grey is pretty amazing taking care of his pack and protecting them. Alexis makes another appearance showing her usually colors and bitterness. The rest of the packs are archaic and even the old ones made me want to slap them! How can a group be so moronic! I think Grey, Morgan, and Dean handled the Summit fabulously! Lots of surprises and action contained in these pages! The only sad part is now I have to wait for more because it isn’t written yet! I’m not a very patient person…sigh!
I highly recommend the whole series to any of my werewolf lovin’ friends out there! Time to find something new to read :)
REVIEW I had mixed feelings about reading this book because on one hand, I wanted to know more and read more about the characters but I knew there were no more books available after this one, so on the other hand, I kind of didn't want to read it as I didn't want the series to come to an end either.
This cover is dominated by Morgan both in her human form in the foreground and in her Silver Wolf form in the background. The font style and placement of the book title, series name and author name are all in the same style as the rest of the series which makes the series really cohesive. I bet they look brilliant side by side on o book shelf! All the individual book covers would encourage me to pick them up in a book store to learn more about them so I'd say they certainly do their job well.
As I have said with the other titles in the series the genres I have seen listed for this book series are Paranormal, Fantasy, Shapeshifter, Werewolves, Romance which totally fit this book and book series. I also noticed that someone has added Urban Fantasy too which I also agree with. This really is a great shifter series that contains everything from the claiming and mate bonding to pack dynamics and how challenges are dealt with along with how misbehavior/wrong doing within packs are dealt with. Also the more unusual aspects of two packs co-existing close to each other as Dean and Grey are doing in this series.
Once again I really, really enjoyed reading this book, I just truly hope it wasn't the last in the series. I still have so many questions about the futures of the characters in this series. I enjoyed meeting the other packs when Grey's and Dean's packs both went to the Summit and shared accommodation. I found the scene description of the male wolves waiting in an airport so funny, all the pacing and these big tough males, two of them alpha's struggling with being round people and then being cooped up in an airplane together too. Poor Logan being teased about his love of gossip magazines.
A lot of the action and angst for Morgan happens at the Summit. Morgan even ends up feeling "alone" and distanced from her mate Grey. Grey tends to internalise things and has a just get on with it attitude. Whilst they are at the Summit it becomes apparent both Morgan and Grey are struggling with all the attention on them and their wolves are taking over more and more. In the end Morgan actually speaks to Grey about the fact she needs Grey as himself as well as his wolf. It is soon revealed at the Summit's annual meet that the elders and some of the wolf clans and alphas are quite archaic in their attitudes to women and particularly to Morgan and the possibilities that she may one day produce children so re-population the once thought extinct Silver Wolf Clan. It seems the elders also think they can have a say in what may happen to Lana in the future should she be turned, both Morgan and Grey insist that will be a choice for Lana to make not anyone else no matter how important they think she could be to the Silver Wolf Clan and it's re-population. Other major incidents in the Summit are the male fighting challenge....now I wonder who could enter and win that? There's also a female fighting challenge but no one ever enters that . . . could that all change this year? Would/Could Morgan be provoked enough to fight?
Favourite characters that have remained so throughout the series are both the main alpha's and their mates Grey & Morgan and Dean & Rachel. I absolutely adored the young teen character of Marissa, she gains so much confidence in both herself and in her new pack, so much so when two males give her unwanted attention and over step the mark she reports back to Grey whose wolf takes immediate action on Dean's advice and challenges the wolves in the fighting ring. Prior to the fights Marissa makes certain gestures at the males and is gleeful when Wolf doles out his own form of justice to them! By the end of this book I was warming up even more to the growing character of Lana too. She comes across as such a cutie yet seems so wise too when prompted to call Grey daddy to irritate other characters, she then ends up calling him daddy anyway with Morgan's blessing. Another totally adorable scene is when she growls when she is eating at the Summit's last night barbeque! Is she merely mimicking those around her or could her own inner wolf be rising to the surface? We learn a little more about Dean's pack in this book. The fact that Wade the packs doctor is a more dominant wolf than he shows. The way Dean, Grey and Wade have land bordering each other and use all three properties in the regular runs together in wolf form. We see Brent find someone who he would potentially like as a mate but will she be interested when she hears of all the drama that goes on around Morgan, the Silver Wolf? I enjoyed their being more female shifters featured in this book and hope that the series continues and has more female wolves too. I also enjoyed the "bad" trouble causing character of Alexis, when will she learn her lesson that she will not manage to come between Grey/Wolf & Morgan/Silver Wolf. Alexis once again tries every tactic she has at her disposal to the point of being reprimanded by various characters including her very own mate Jonathan. How does Jonathan put up with Alexis? Could Jonathan be trouble in the future for Grey & Morgan? At One point in the book something that Alexis says ends up in possible devastation for Grey & Morgan. . . . as for whether Alexis gets her wish you'll need to read the book! I couldn't possibly say but lets just say Alexis truly is a vindictive conniving bitch in this book and knows just how to use the elders expectations for the Silver Wolf Clan rebirth to her advantage!
I also want to find out more about the next chapter for both Dean and Grey's packs, with wolves wanting to pledge to Deans Pack and I'm looking forward to how things could change in Grey's Pack. There is a point in the book where things come to a head with Dean and Grey when Dean thinks more of his wolves may be wanting to transfer to Grey's pack. Is that the real case or is it merely a misunderstanding?
Once again I feel I could go on and on about this book and the series as a whole too but I shouldn't nor want to reveal everything. I just can't explain how great this series is, I'd say if you are a lover of shifter books they are a must read to add to your reading lists. If you love a great kick butt female character then these would be a good recommended read for you too. Other series and authors I would say comparable to the Silver Wolf clan by Tera Shanley are Kelley Armstrong's Women Of The Otherworld Series (which has shifters, witches and more!) Rachel Vincent's and her Shifter Series and her Menagerie Series (with a travelling menagerie of shapeshifters and more!) Amanda Carlson and both her Jessica McClain shifter's series (and for another kick butt female, but more mythology in genre, her Phoebe Meadows series). Back to great shifters there's Karina Espinosa's Mackenzie Grey Series, J.A. Belfield's Holloway Pack, Nikki Jefford's Wolf Hollow Series and Keri Armstrong's The Awakening.
My immediate thoughts upon finishing this book and series so far were, Oh wow amazing! Totally love this book and series! Please tell me there will be more Tera Shanley??? There is so much more this series and it's fantastic characters have left to give. There is the brief appearance of vampire Larius to be built upon along with whatever disaster or action the dragon plans to take against a Silver Wolf Clan being reborn. I'm also looking forward to Lana deciding on what she wants to do or become in the future along with young Marissa eventually being faced with choosing a mate, though I have my own thoughts on who she would/could possibly choose.
Our heroine Morgan Carter is the last silver wolf. Silver wolves have the ability to breed offspring and were thought to be extinct. Morgan and her mate Alpha Grayson Crawford along with their friends the Dallas pack have fended off claims for Morgan. Even after she bonded with Grayson wolves are determined to have her for their own. The threats have caused stress for this young pack and newly wed couple.
The tale begins with an intense battle scene and we get to witness Morgan and Greyson’s badassery. A visit from a stranger and Grayson’s dear old Dad added interest and hint of trouble to come. They head to the Summit, a gathering of clans, to try to put an end to these attacks. They all hope the Old Ones at the Summit can help abate some of these attacks. A certain bitch, who we all love to hate, attends and causes trouble. The Summit was interesting and the meeting regarding Morgan and her niece will have you angry and longing to spar with one particularly she-wolf.
The different side threads that develop in Summit of the Wolf added interesting. A budding romance, pack loses, and quality time with our couple added depth and allowed us to gain some footing between the action scenes. Shanley manages to add humor and normalcy despite the threats. After dealing with intense moments, we are rewarded with some tasty bits of information.
Each novella in the series has strengthened the series and I am curious to see what will happen next. Since each novella builds off its predecessor, I recommend reading The Clan Wolf series in order. Copy provided by publisher. This review was originally posted on Caffeinated Book Reviewer
I loved the plot, the characters, the action, the romance! Seriously the action scenes are so well written that they feel so real, like you are literally a part of it all. And the characters are amazing and I loved how they were unstoppable: all the hard times and battles and yet they would always overcome them, together. Because that's all that matters when you love someone. You could really see that strongly through the writing.
Tera Shanley's writing grabs you inside the pages and makes it almost impossible to stop reading and finding out what happens next. I'm just sad this is the last book, because I could read a million more!
Tera again I have to say..You are a wonderful and talented writer. I am amazed that I could not stop reading until I had completed the entire series. Love your work. Thank you.
DNF mfc is TSTL and too whiny to tolerate. knows how to fight but won't lift a finger for first 3 books. wants the mmc to check on her feelz endlessly.
She's a frigging werewolf why can't she cowboy up??
Summit of the Wolf is the fourth (and last? )installment of the Silver Wolf Clan series by Tera Shanley. These books are short novellas that can stand alone however its really not recommended. Summit of the Wolf starts where the last book ended and it basically continues the story of Morgan and Grey. As a short summary Silver Wolf Clan is actually about Morgan and Grey being turned into werewolves but instead of just ordinary ones they have shifted into two rare beings that are only heard of thru the werewolves oral legends. Morgan has turned into a Silver wolf whose coat is pure white and whose line has long been extinct but her allure is mostly because of her breeding potential. For only Silver wolves can breed pure werewolves and her potential to repopulate a dying breed is the source of all her troubles. Grey on the other hand has turned into a strong Wolf of legend as well. A beast or most specifically a demon wolf whose beast is forefront and is stronger than any wolf in existence. Morgan and Grey fall in love and eventually marry making her claimed as per their custom. But apparently all other wolf clans have stupidly decided to challenge his claim again and again creating a lot of tension and source of anxiety for both of them. The Summit, an annual gathering of werewolves is the only place that they can put a stop to these challenges but instead of finding the solution to their problems it just seemed to escalate even more.
When I started this series (I actually read from the second book onward and followed the story quite well despite of it) I was preparing myself for the uber alpha male wolf and the claiming of his mate type of romance. But much to my surprise I actually got more than what I anticipated. Morgan and Grey's story was complex and multilayered. As well as their character development. Morgan had agency, despite the fact she was being treated as an object, a brood mare as such. She became this bad ass she-wolf willing to be protected but was also more than capable of protecting herself. But it also highlighted the fact that she was living in a male dominated culture. So you can feel her every thought and emotion that she was nothing to the other wolves and it was only her clan that was treating her as something more. The story evolved because she evolved as well. Grey had the some problem but this time his beast was the one controlling him and he needed to be able to balance his human self with his wolf in order not to have the same outcome as the other demon wolves before him. Living life as pure wolf because it was easier than trying to control his beast. I love this two and the whole series. The book had a satisfying ending but you get the feeling that the author is still willing to take this series further but for Morgan and Grey they have fought for their peaceful existence and won it.
Grey and Morgan are just returning from their honeymoon when they are attacked by another pack determined to take the Silver Wolf. Regardless of Morgan and Grey mating, people still think they can take what they want. After losing one of their friends in a battle over Morgan, Grey and Morgan realize that they need to go to the yearly wolf summit to announce their presence and take a stand.
This book picks up a day or so after the events of the last book. I think that each book reads like a serial, and together they create one complete book. And, just in case you missed the "serial" aspect I just mentioned, that means that the books have to be read in order to get the complete story. Yet again, I love this series. It is action packed and deals heavily with the mate bond which is one of my absolute favorite things to read about.
I have made my feelings clear in the past how I feel about Grey (and Wolf), and in case you missed it, I am madly in love with him. He (they?) can do no wrong and I just want to hug him, or eat him up, I guess it depends on my mood. In the past though I have been conflicted about Morgan and her worthiness to be with my man-beast Grey. Well, my negative feelings towards Morgan have completely resolved and I absolutely love her in this book. All of her past indecision and mopey-ness have been thrown aside and it their place is a badass She-wolf who can defend herself as well as her mate. Morgan totally redeemed her past misdeeds here and I thought she was awesome. Kind of makes me want to have some swords to swing around...
Anyway, this book has a lot of foreshadowing of events to come, at least in my opinion, and I am incredibly excited to see what happens. We have the future growth of both Denver packs to look forward to as well as the introduction of the vampires and one vampire in specific who I think totally has a thing for Marissa (who has always been one of my favorite characters and I can't wait to read more about her later, hint hint Tera). Also, I desperately need Alexis to get what is coming to her because I have had enough of that devil lady.
I love this series and I just wish each book was longer since I enjoy them so much and can't wait for the next installment. I am at the point where I would gladly read anything by this author.
I received this title from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. For more reviews visit my blog at http://smadasbooksmack.blogspot.com/
I love when I can pick up a book in a series & read it without need to find the ones prior to it. Ms. Shanley provides enough info in this book that you won’t have to read the priors to understand the story. (But she, also, makes you want to hunt down the prior books & read them.)
“Morgan gasped & clung to the grab handle of Greyson’s truck for dear life. A horrible screeching sound of metal on metal wailed out as the other car collided with the bed of the truck. The men chasing then pulled away, then floored it to catch up again.” Now if that alone does not get you wanting to find out what is going on … Guess nothing will. That is the 1st paragraph of the book. From there Ms. Shanley creates a world that makes you want to keep reading. Morgan is the ONLY Silver Wolf. This means she might be able to produce offspring. But since there hasn’t been a Silver Wolf in quite sometime, they only believe it’s a possibility. ”From the research we have gathered,” Marcus said, “& I’m sure many have been able to find texts, as well, so please add your knowledge if I leave anything out, the Silver Wolves were an ancient & thriving clan up until the early eighteenth century. They had outgrown their sanctuary in France & started branching out to other packs. Some of the females were able to bear full-blooded werewolf offspring, making them the only breeding werewolves in our known history. They were slaughtered by humans, & any who fled were hunted by vampires to rid our race of breeders. They were all white, even the males, & the females had light blue or purple eyes to signify they were born of the Silver Wolf Clan. They were thought to be completely extinct until Morgan was Turned.”
This makes Morgan a highly wanted individual. To put a stop to this, because she is mated to the Demon Wolf, Grey, they attend the Summit of the Wolf hoping to put an end to the attacks they have received since Morgan was Turned.
I do hope that Ms. Shanley continues on with this series. I would love to read the future of Morgan & Grey, plus I will be getting the 3 prior books.
Ok, Let's talk about how much I love this series... A LOT!!! This one is now getting serious. The werewolf world has found out about Morgan, she's the legendary silver wolf. She was attacked and bitten, and turned. So she is still trying to come to terms with being a werewolf now. She married and mated Grey. The have a pack, well, her Grey and Marissa. Lana being her neice/adopoted daughter. The have a friendship with the other Dallas Pack, who are helping to fight off all the crazies who want to kidnap Morgan and make her their breeder. Yeah it's as bad as it sounds. Grey will do anything to keep Morgan and Lana and Marissa safe. Dean and Rachel, the alphas of the other Dallas pack have also become friends and allies. So with this in mind, they all set off for the yearly meeting summit for all the packs around the country. Yeah sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. Some things just won't change.
Morgan and Grey are growing as a couple- FINALLY! Some things will always be a fight, but they get a few moments in between to be a normal couple. Until everything goes to chaos. LOL But when the elders make a statement, because Alexis and her evil self always has to pop up and stir trouble, it puts everyone at risk. Morgan won't lose Lana. Marissa doesn't want to lose either of Grey or Morgan. Rachel and Dean just want stability and to help their pack. This one is like a live wire that just won't quit.
I am actually really glad we got to see other wolf packs in this one. There's some new characters introduced that I know I will like in the future. There's also heartbreak because someone is lost in the chaos. There are rules and interests and suspense along the way we all have to figure out. I am absolutely thrilled with how this series is turning out. And there's something new as well, the vampires have entered the scene. It's about to get more complicated and I can't wait to see where this one will take us. I absolutely need the next book!! :) With that said, YES!!! I love this series and gimme more!!! 5 WOLFY PAWS!!! :) PS I love netgalley so much right now, because I got to read this one early!
Silver wolves have gone extinct, or at least that is what everyone thought until Morgan became one. Being the only one of her kind, and the only bloodline that is able to have werewolf offspring, Morgan is now in high demand. The rival packs will do anything to claim her, even though she has already been claimed by alpha wolf, Greyson. Will being claimed stop the bloodshed caused while trying to take her or will the ones in power have other ways to put her breeding ability to good use?
Morgan is a strong woman and wolf. Due to events that have taken place in her past, she has some trust issues that she is trying to work through. It seems that when she finally makes progress, something else occurs that will set her back. People she has grown to care for are dying while trying to protect her. Morgan and her mate travel to the annual summit so that they can stop rumors and address the other packs directly. The tension was there and it kept me reading but I would have liked some of the loose ends wrapped up. We meet a character in the beginning, who appears to have some importance, but he never shows back up or is explained. It was as if he was just written in to take up space. If there are more novellas in this series, hopefully he will be explained in greater detail.
Summit of the Wolf is the fourth novella in the Silver Wolf Clan series. I was unaware of this when I requested the book from NetGalley because neither the description nor the cover indicated that it was book four. I only realized that it was part of a series when I opened the book on my Kindle. Though I was able to read the story fine without having read the previous three installments, I was left trying to fill in the missing pieces. Enough was mentioned in this story that I can guess what happened but I really wish I knew exact details. In my opinion, this isn't able to stand on it's own so be sure to read the others before this one. It was an enjoyable read but having read this one first, I'm not likely to go back and read the others since I know how it all plays out.
I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
After the small disappointment of the previous book, I expected a lot of this continuation and finally I was delighted that the things set out again on hubcaps. After their quick marriage, they left out of honeymoon quite as fast which is enclosed by an enemy attack, once more again. We start with the action, we quickly connect several events and revelations are made, the things advance rather well. Romance and sensuality are here, as well as combat and information in any kind on the universe of the Silver Wolf. A good book as we needed it to set out again in the adventures of Morgan and Grey.
As that was the case in the previous book, the narration is much centered on Morgan, what she feels and how she lives her marriage. Grey still has some words, but in a less marked way, leaving a share of mystery on some of his choices. It is interesting to see how their couple evolve since their marriage, the affection too as well the marks of confidence who have changed. That it is more natural, or more difficult sometimes, there is still some work to do.
The second Dallas' pack is always also present, besides Marissa and Lana of course. The more the things advance and the more we have the feeling that they form only one and large family, with some confrontations all the same. The duels and the attacks, in spite of tragic consequences, all of that bring them closer, which is a good thing for The Summit coming soon.
The Summit is without any doubt the turntable of the series, making the things official and more dangerous. We learn about the wolves, their hierarchy, their history and dissensions. New nice faces are met, but I would have done without the bitch queen, Alexis… In short, the intrigue fasten between the small hello from the vampires (interesting person), Morgan's nature, just like her couple and their future.
A good book which could have been a conclusion, if there had not been the mystery of the vampires and Dragon. That still remains pleasant to read, even with the sad moments, we manage to smile in the end. The door is clearly open for the continuation which I hope to be interesting!
Summit of the Wolf the fourth book in the Silver Wolf Clan Series by Tera Shanley is my favorite book in the series. I was impressed how everything fell together. Morgan Carter has been claimed by Grayson Crawford. Despite that, others still want to use the silver wolf like a mindless broodmare. Morgan and Grayson are a great couple. They have overcome a lot of obstacles throughout this series. It is really unfair everything the two have had to endure.
Tera Shanley did a great job tapping into every emotion in this story. The plot was well constructed and written. The characters have grown tremendously. I love that Morgan is tough and helps in fights. I’ve always liked Greyson. He is the ultimate protector. This series has come a long way. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Summit of the Wolf is a strong, dark extremely powerful addition to this series. Morgan Carter is a Silver wolf. A breed long thought to be extinct. Female silver wolves were able to birth baby werewolves. The only other way to become a were is to be bitten and changed and that is iffy at best. Because of this the Silvers were hunted by horny males and vampires. The vampires killed them to keep the population levels equal. In this book Morgan and Grey are now mated but it hasn’t stopped males from coming to challenge Grey for her. They take a chance and go to an enclave where they hope the Elders will help them get some sort of semblance of peace. At least have them order the horny buggers to back off. I recommend reading the first 3 books before reading this. This can be read standalone but you will get a whole lot more out of it if you read the first 3 first. This is a short intense ride. We are introduced to some new characters that could make this series very interesting in the future. I look forward to seeing where the author takes us next. “I received this book from netGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is in no way affected my opinion of the book, or the content of my review.”
I can't say I'm impressed but fairly contempt with the outcome of the story. Yes, it was typical, predictablep, average and quite nice. but you know what ? that's OKAY, for it was light, short and very satisfying.
The book is quite good, so far the main character have had a rough life, they experienced all kind of emotion turmoil Sadness. Despair. Hopelessness. Depression. Impending doom. however as the story develops we see flickers of hope. friendship. loyalty. and most importantly Love. I liked Grey's and Morgan's chemistry, the romance in this one was not that overwhelming it did not overpower the story . it was properly balanced. very appreciated. In the end, this was a great read and I surely enjoyed it til the las page.
If you’re looking for a relatively light paranormal romance, and you like werewolves, .(where there's claiming, mates bond, fights for dominance ) then try this one out, however if your searching for blown your mind serie, not suggested
Morgan Carter and Greyson Crawford went through a lot. From Greyson helping her that fatal day when a rogue werewolf attacked and killed Morgan’s sister. In the process of assisting Greyson was turned into a wolf which he is now known as “Demon Wolf” to Morgan being bitten and turned into the Silver Wolf an ancient breed of wolf and the only type of wolf her kind that has the capability to have children. In Tera Shanley 4th book of the Silver Wolf Clan, Summit of the Wolf, Morgan and Greyson must face their ultimate foe. The only way for them both to come out of this battle alive is to trust each other.
My Take: Tera Shanley Silver Wolf Clan series is..I can’t think of a better word than outstanding. Tera will bring your emotions to the forefront, she will have you cheering one minute then crying the next. Summit of the Wolf was a book like none other. If you enjoy reading books about shifters and Alpha wolves add Tera Shanley Silver Wolf Clan: Summit of the Wolf to your reading list.
Daaaaang. This book was one heck of a book. Talk about the women showing packs how it is truly done in this book. Even after the mating ritual and the wedding of Grey and Morgan, challenges keep coming. Because of one challenge in particular, they decide to go to the Summit Meeting. Here, all sorts of new things happen and are learned. The challenge for the best fighter at the end of the summit was probably the best part about the summit. Watching Grey and Morgan both in their primes with fighting. The ending of the book made me weep. I will not tell you why, because I do not want to spoil anything. Just know that even though I wept, I cannot help now but to chuckle and shake my head. I truly hope that more books come out in this series. It has been an incredible series so far. Besides, we need to know what happens with the vampires!

SUMMIT OF THE WOLF the next book in The Silver Wolf Clan series, and it is action packed and emotionally charged. The story line and characters are well-developed. Morgan and Greyson have come back from their honeymoon and find two clans waiting to fight Greyson for Morgan. They do not care if Morgan is already claimed, they want her. To stop these attacks, Morgan and Greyson must go the The Summit where all clans get together and take care of clan business and have fun. I loved this book. The chemistry between Greyson and Morgan is hot. I recommend this book and series to everyone, and I give SUMMIT OF THE WOLF 5/5 STARS.

When I first requested a copy of this book, I was unaware that it was the fourth book in a series. So, I immediately went and read the first three books, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The fourth book has a great turnaround from the frustration I felt with Morgan's character in the last book. She has come to terms with being a werewolf and having a mate and really starts to shine as the kick butt female character that she is meant to be.
This had easily become a new favorite series for myself and has given me something to look forward to with the upcoming books.
Just the right amount of dark, romance, and paranormal to keep you flipping through the pages and wanting more.
Great addition to the series. This book picks up basically where the last leaves off, it is full of action and some hot scenes between Grey and Morgan. I really liked seeing the side of Morgan that came out in this book, she was badass. Grey and Wolf per usual were absolutely amazing. If you are a reader of the series definitely pick this up. If you haven't read any of them yet, go back to the beginning and read them all through. I am curious what will happen next for our favorite Dallas Packs...and hello the vampire and Marissa?? Need more on that!! This was a complimentary e-copy provided by the author/publisher in exchange for a honest review via Netgalley.
Well I got this book not knowing it was #4 in a series. The title didn't say. I know I am being whiny. I wanted to read it because I like shifter stories. I have to say I was a little lost at times, but I did fine. You can't read this as a stand alone for sure. I liked the humor of the author. She made Morgan a very sassy sarcastic woman. Marley seems like he is ways int turmoil. Heck the whole book it utter turmoil all the time. It is like the characters cannot survive if there isn't something bad happening. It did get tiresome after a while. You just wanted it to work out and everyone be happy. It seems like it will be at the end.
Without a doubt this might be my favorite of the series... Morgan and grey finally united in all ways but challenges come left and right fm other packs that want the silver of as their own. History states it's the only blood line that can creat a full blooded werewolf baby. What an amazing gift, this book shows Morgan in all her glory and her strength from being kidnapped and abused. Love does prevail. Love love love.. And really hoping for a new one??
This book was my fave, but ended way way way to soon. so sad... I feel deflated, sigh... Please please please tell me there is going to be another one soon... the anticipation to find out what happens next and how things are going to play out is so overwhelming, to a point that my skin is crawling with with the unease of waiting.
