In Part Two, you'll learn to work with sigils, hypersigils, and magical entities, as well as explore powerful techniques, such as visualization and invocation, and the controversial realm of pop-culture magic. Presenting an understanding of the core concepts of chaos magic, this book provides insight into how to embrace chaos and unleash the mad scientist within. Your reality is yours to create.
Very easy and practical book, I’d say a perfect guide for a complete beginner, especially that it contains a list of exercises you can follow or use as inspiration for your practice. Ivy has a talent for describing everything in an approachable, yet intelligent way, and her literary style is really pleasant :) The reading list attached to the book is both insightful and useful, and my eyes shone bright at the sight of it :D I also follow her channel and I adore her energy, and it’s thanks to her that I finally accepted that my style is very close to chaos magic, and that I should stop trying to put myself in dogmatic/ceremonial esoteric currents and suffer as a result (especially as a person with ADHD), and it has opened the whole world of endless creative opportunities for me, which I had discovered and followed before, yet now it’s with full acceptance.
This book is an introduction to Chaos Magic, focusing "belief as a tool", sigils, servitors and magical experimentations/exercises. The instructions to create sigils, alphabets etc. are short, practical and to the point, making me feel like a magician already. You should have an "Alice" for every exercise as this is the beginning of your journey. This book is for anyone who is curious about Chaos Magic, Ivy provides that information simplistically, this book packs a punch within its 112pgs or so. It can be for intermediate peeps that have been in this space and wish to revisit a practical modern approach to magic, I guarantee you will have some AHA moments. Overall: this book was great! Easy to digest, intriguing, uncomplicated, practical exercises after every chapter. A solid book. A+ - Thank you for creating this Ivy, love it!
