About the author

Sarah Weeks has been writing children's books and songs for the past twenty years. She is a graduate of Hampshire College and NYU and recently became an adjunct faculty member in the prestigious Writing Program at the New School University, in New York City.

Her first YA novel, So B. It, which appeared on the LA Times bestseller list was chosen as an ALA Best Book for Young Adults and received the 2004 Parent's Choice Gold Award. In addition to being an author, Sarah is an accomplished singer/songwriter. She has written for television, stage and screen and a number of her picture books include songs which she both writes and sings for the accompanying CDs. Sarah's titles have sold well over a million copies, including several foreign editions.

Sarah is a tireless promoter, visiting schools throughout the country, serving as author-in-residence and speaking to teachers and librarians at national conferences including IRA, ALA and NCTE. She lives in New York City with her two teenage sons.

Cute book. Bunny has fun inside while it rains, and then outside in the puddles, all with his mouse friend. Cute pictures. Nothing super special, but cute rhyming lines. Would work well for fairly little kids. Could use for spring or bunny or rain theme.

What an interesting preschoolers book. Who would advocate these things? Let's have a pillow fight and destroy feather pillows! Bunny Fun! Let's make confetti and paper dolls from Daddy's newspaper! Bunny Fun! Let's puddle and paint with Mama's makeup and nail-polish! Bunny Fun! Clearly this is unsupervised play.

Must read to babies! I loved this book, its fun, colorful and fun sounds and words. Toddlers will also enjoy learning new words.Bunny Fun is a great book to share with babies and toddlers, with rhyming and fun illustrations. Drip drop rainy day bunny cant go out to play!

0-7. I was not particularly impressed with this book. Colorful art. The rhyming story was not particularly inspiring. Bunny cannot go out to play because it is raining. Bunny finds different indoor activities to keep occupied. By the end I had already forgot that it was raining (because this dilemma was not emphsized in the beginning.) then bunny goes outside and plays in the mud.

Fun, rhyming text, but everything bunny does (inside on the rainy day) is destructive. She paints with mom's nail polish, cuts up dad's newspaper, has pillow fights that spray feathers everywhere. etc. While toddlers might love it (it's the perfect length and great for reading aloud) I doubt the moms would be too thrilled.

Very bright and engaging. Doesn't really seem to follow a sequence or a story - just bunny doing random stuff on a rainy day and then playing in the mud when the sun comes out. But it's a more fun bunny book than What Does Bunny See?
