The book itself was a decent guide to manifestation. It's very straightforward and gives a lot of good advice. When people new to manifesting ask me how to learn to do it, this is what I will tell them to read first. I'm not sure that people who have studied manifestation before will find much new. Regardless, I liked Birch's approach and there were some suggestions I hadn't heard before. The accompanying audios are wonderful. Those are a cross between guided meditations with neurolinguistic programming, with some shamanic journeying depending on the week. Those alone are more than worth the few bucks I paid for the book. This is the first time I have ever been able to consistently keep up with a meditation practice. I find myself looking forward to the meditations every morning and evening. Thanks, Alida!

This is a thorough approach to goal-setting and one of the most beautifully written that I've seen in a long time. Though I am not enthused with the drum beating meditation discs that accompany the book - I respond better to chimes and woodwind instruments - it does allow for progressive practice of the concepts covered in each chapter of her book. I enjoyed the wise statements of others that she uses to season her text, and overall, I found the book inspiring.

Was interested in what shamanism has to do with reaching goals. I'm not sure I ever figured that out. This is a good book for beginners.

Written in the language of love, to transmit the skills towards creating the highest good for the planet. The most grounded book I have read on manifestation that root from love not ego.
