When John Smith wakes up after blacking out during a laboratory staff meeting, he slowly realizes that he's been relocated to an extraordinary world. Smith has entered Quad World, peopled with Joan of Arc, Robin Hood, Napoleon, Elvis, and other notables, and where death comes instantly if he sees himself through the dimensions.

Total Recall meets, um, ComicCon is the closest thing I can come up with.
A man wakes up from his boring business meeting only to find he's now 200 years into the future and happens to be a killing machine.
