This is book 2 in this series. I was really looking forward to this book because book 1 was such a great read.

I did not enjoy this book as much. This is Charmaine and Jasper's story. I loved the couple and I thought the storyline was excellent. However, there was too much emphasise on the minor characters for me and not enough about Charmaine and Jasper. I would have enjoyed the story much more if the book had focussed more on how they over came the tragedy, how they could fall in love inspite of the accident and more about how they felt about each other. I felt I knew more about Persia and her story than I did about Charmaine and Jasper. I wished the author had spent more time developing the story about them and how they fell in love and how they felt about each other.

I would still recommend this book as a good read!

The first time I read this book, I gave it a 5 star rating. Now it's a 3 star rating. I personally don't feel like Charmaine was the one for Jasper, something about her just rubbed me the wrong way. I think the buildup between her and Jasper was so quick that it had me thinking, "When did this happen?" To me their relationship was more lust than love. I also didn't like that I knew so much about Persia. She's not who this story is about, she's not moving the story along, so why are we presented with her storyline so much. And why is it that the good, nice, Christian guy always falls for the 'bad', non-Christian girl or vice versa? I get that she "changed" at the end, but I just don't get this storyline. And I noticed many spelling and punctuation mistakes. Don't get me wrong, my spelling and punctuation isn't perfect either, but the mistakes were so noticeable that I couldn't believe I didn't notice them before. Overall, I liked the book. The only reason it's not a 2 star rating is because I liked Jasper's character, to an extent, but I liked him the most. And also because I like the overall theme of forgiveness.

I enjoyed this short emotion packed novella. This is an eye opener book, the love story is unheard of and original. It really draws on the act of forgiveness. It makes you do some thinking on what it means to truly love and forgive. There are always something hurtful that tears at us and it really brings that to life. But it does not leave you there, it lets you know how to recover and move on. The writer really touched a lot of base on self-forgiveness and the importance of it to move forward. The love story was so beautiful between two with so much differences yet they got through all the trials that came their way. Love is shown to not be just easy in this story but a working progress daily throughout the book. I definitely would recommend this book to those struggle with a pain that they can not get over or love that is being faced with many obstacles. Sometimes you need to remind yourself to find the good and realize it could be worse, and this book after reading makes you feel that you can get through it all!! MUST READ

I'm a sucker for a love story, and everyone knows it. I've read several of Michelle Lindo-Rice's books, and she has yet to disappoint me.

I practically fell in love with Jasper from the moment I started reading; his strength, courage, and conviction spoke volumes to me. The book took me through a range of emotions from anger, to tears, to hope, and happiness. I love the fact that there's always a timely message within the story, and that the characters go through real-life issues, The story flowed well, and it was an easy read; I love it when a book makes you engage with the characters, and this one definitely did!

This was a great read, and I throughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

Unbound Hearts

This story is too good to be so short. Jasper and Charmaine had me turning the pages of the story eager to see what would happen next.

Michelle Lindo_Rice, I hope you will consider writing a longer Interracial Christian Romance in the future.

Such a great story on forgiveness. Charmaine and Jasper found love through God and forgiveness. The interference from Matt and Jasper's mother hindered their union but they made it through.

This author can write some twisted stories! This one did not disappoint. Blue eyes always wanted Miss Brown eyes and even after such an horrific interaction he still practiced forgiveness. Charmaine was selfish beyond anything else, and she made irrational decisions. This woman needed an intervention before she would be eligible to be loved.

It was very evident that Charmaine was really grieving the death of her dad! Grief is difficult to move away from without the help of God because we are forced to deal with a new norm of life. She was so angry at God. Many of us become angry at God for allowing our loved ones to die, but God has a way of breaking us down for our purpose in Him that He get all the glory!!! Great book to recommend to book clubs. One thing that I never saw coming was Matt and Jasper's mom teaming together to set Charmaine up......that was not Godly lol I really enjoyed the story and it is a great read for book clubs
