Another wonderful story! This series was really good. Maryann Jordan writes stories about family and friends. How important to have someone to love and take care of and be loved and taken care of too in return. I felt the connection and I really loved her epilogues especially in this book.

The story was about Tom, 30 and Carol, 26.

It started before Laurie (book2 h) moved to Fairfield.

Tom's a detective. He was hit by a car outside the grocery store and Carol was there to assist me. She's there unt

I love Maryann Jordan. It is so hard to not only write a story but to make you fall in love with the characters. I feel like part of the "family". Carol has had some major obstacles in her past that she had to deal with and to find her way. Not only was she able to overcome them she meets a man that helps her by being the man she needs. This a a great story. So sad to see the series end.
My Love of Books
I beta read this book for MaryAnn and I must say that it an amazing read. I always enjoy reading her prologues for she has the best ones I have ever read, I love how it gives you the background of the story first instead of bit by bit in the book.
Out of all the 3 books I think this one has to be my favorite, I am really sad this is the end and to have to see these characters go, my heart is invested in them :)
I really like how fate brought these 2 together, two broken souls bound by destiny to

I have loved writing each book in the Fairfield Series. Carol's Image is the third and final book in this series and it is the romance between Carol and Tom. The theme of the book may be similar to the others, but each couple is unique in their personalities, needs, and relationships. In this book, I have explored a theme that is not often found. One that I think many readers will identify with (essentially how we see ourselves). Of course, there are alpha men, independent women, sweet romance, ...more

2.5! Stars. OMG this book took me FOREVER to finish! I struggled to stay interested. I really think it was because I already knew what happens because of the previous stories. That and Carol was a bit annoying and a bore. Tom was sweet. So good to her and handled her issues very well. He was a man-whore. Not as bad as Rob, but bad enough to to run into a couple of them. Wasn't too bad though. But he committed the same crime of thinking about his past too much. Again, not as much as Rob in the pr ...more

Ahh What can I say that I haven't already about Maryann? LOVE this woman and her writing. After reading the first book in this series I didn't think anyone could replace my love for Jake and Emma...then came book 2 and I didn't know who to love more them or Laurie and its book 3 with Carol and Tom, LOVE LOVE LOVE these 2. (but I still have love for the others) This story was so good. So believable. So amazing. I truly recommend this. Sweet, hot and loving. You will want a Tom of your ...more

Maryann Jordan did an amazing job with the third book to the Fairfield Series.
Carol's Image is astounding and captivating all at the same time! Once again you have a very strong willed female that has had a challenging past but does what she needs to do to overcome adversity! And TOM.... OMG... Who doesn't love a man in uniform. This is a sexy romantic read that will leave you swooning over alphas all over again!

The most exciting thing about reading a author from the beginning of their writing career is watching them grow. That is what I have been privileged to have done with this author and noticed her also how she had started it out in a series when she did. I would say by now though she is no longer new but accomplished for this is the third one in the series. Her writing style started out fantastic but now I would say it is phenomenal. Words are very powerful and she has taken this place Fairfield f ...more

This series keeps getting better. I am captivated by the characters of Fairfield, I feel like I know them well and I am a part of their town. I love how they are all intermingled in every book, yet each couple has their stand alone book. I love these characters. Carol is a strong female who has had to overcome a lot in her life and continues to be a daily struggle that she will have to be aware of and deal with. She is sweet and a caregiver, she meets Tom, who wants to take care if her. Tom is a ...more

I hate to see the series end but at least I know there are many more great stories to come. This book did not disappoint, I like that all the females are very independent. I like even more that each male makes them all feel safe enough to trust and be loved. Isn't that, after all what true love is all and trust?! Each one of these books that have been written isn't so much about independence and alpha males as much as its about falling in love with your soul me. I feel tha ...more

The 3rd installment in the Fairfield Series really touched me. I don't know why that surprised me because everyone of MaryAnn Jordan's books have touch me in one way or another. MaryAnn has hit another homer! All of her books are relatable and I can see being friends with these characters. I enjoyed experiencing Carol and Tom's journey in their self discovery and also the journey to help bring them together. This is a story about "surviving" family, being comfortable in your own skin, and lettin ...more

Absolutely fantastic read! This is the third book in the Fairfield series and MaryAnn just keeps getting better and better. I LOVED Carol and Tom's story! It's been amazing watching an author I truly love and admire just get better with each subsequent book. If you love a strong alpha male, a strong independent woman who's been through some hard times but is still amazing, a wonderful plot and surrounding characters that are unique in their own right then you must read this series!

This book was GREAT! I definitely recommend this series in reading order (this is # 3) but I swear, it won't be a hassle. This whole series, so far, is chock full of possessive, OTT Alpha males that know how to swivel their hips in all the right places. This one was no different.
From the beginning to the end of this book, I was hooked. Our H was a GREAT OTT Alpha and our h was no wilting flower.
Beautiful love story, while remaining hot and sexy.
Definitely recommend this great read!

The Fairfield Series is one of my all time favorites! I love the people in Fairfield. They are caring and Always protect their own. Carol had a hard upbringing. She had parents who cared more about themselves and their status in society then their sweet broken daughter. Carol ends up taking drastic measures to cope with her abuse and low self esteem. She lets her disease and her parents control her life for a long time until she finally realizes she doesn't have to live a unhappy unfulfilled lif ...more

Emt and DETECTIVES OH My!!!!!

I have received a copy from the author herself. Maryann the series just keeps getting better and better. This is the third book in the Fairfield series.

The main character Tom is a detective for the Fairfield police department and he's just yummy!! An unlikely accident that leads him to his angel and starts the course to a future he did not expect to happen. He is protective and takes care of his own. You will instantly fall in love with Tom and his way of thinking

I thought I was a Jake fan (Emma's Home) all the way.. Right up until I read Carols Image & I have to say, ill take 1 of Tom any day!!
The way he treats & speaks to Carol from the heart every time is just beautiful!
Carol is just a beautiful woman who has had a bit of a troubled past & Tom really makes her happy & brings out the best in her. She is fiercely independent & does struggle a bit with Toms overprotectiveness. But Tom doesn't budge, he persists because the Alpha male in him cannot stand

This series is great. I love being able to learn the background of each character and following them each through their journey's to find love.

Carol didn't have support parents in fact they were very judgmental and cruel in my opinion. To worried about their social circle and keeping up with the perfect family image, they neglected the needs of their daughter.
In turn she suffers the lasting effects of their neglect throughout her life and each day is a struggle. Until she meets the the hunky go

I am in no way surprised that I love this book. It seems that each one just gets better. Carol is a character we've met in the previous two books, but we really knew nothing about her! Her story will make your heart squeeze.
Tom may be my favorite of the men in least until I meet the next one! What I love about Maryann's books is that they are not just one thing. There is romance, intrigue, friendship, and all of the elements needed for a good read. Even sick it was hard to put it

Carol's Image what a great story that deals with a stalker and a women struggling with an eating disorder. Carol's always wanting to please her parents did everything that they wanted until she was sent to the ER and decided right there to change her major in college. Years later she is now an ER nurse and loves it because she helps others when she first saw Tom he was struck by a car and Carol was there for him until she had to disappear. Tom swears he saw an ang

MaryAnn has done it again!!! She has told a beautiful story of Carol finding her true love. Carol was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, unfortunately love was not provided from her family in addition to the wealth. Living up to her parents ideal image took a toll on her. Luckily as an adult she has been able to find her true calling and is no longer pretending to be someone she is not. However, this has not come easily or with out consequences. Luckily she finds Tom and he is able to break ...more

Carol's Image is the third and final book in Maryann Jordan's Fairfield series. It is the story of Carol Fletcher a nurse and Tom Rivers a detective with the Fairfield police department.

Tom gets into an accident and Carol rushes to his aid (it's the nurse in her) all he sees is this "angel" a beautiful blonde angel. He spends time looking for her and finally finds her and starts persuing her. They go on a date and end up getting along well. They have troubles but as long as they have each other

Tom is on the police department. He as in an accident one day and an angel came to rescue him. She held his hand till the crew came and then she vanished. From that day on Tom was on the hunt for her. Carol works in the ER and loves every minute of it. She also suffers from an illness. She's had a rough life so far but is living it day to day for her. One of the boys on the department got hurt and was rushed into the hospital. When Tom looked up he saw his angel. Carol invited Tom to the charity ...more
Lost in Romance Books
Maryann Jordan finishes the Fairfield Series with a strong story that continues the themes of relationships, love, friendship, honor, and care. In the first two books, we are given a glimpse into Carol and Tom's lives, but in Carol's Image we are treated to their story. Their meeting, their romance, their secrets and fears, and of course their HEA. We get to revisit with old friends and continue the sense of community. The author will be starting a new series with a character introduced in this ...more

This author just keeps getting better. This is the third book in this series. They are all standalones. In this series we meet and read about some really great characters. This is my favourite.

Carols grown up without any love. She's built a wall around her heart. Will the delicious Tom break down the wall? You need to 1-click to find out.

I really loved this story. Ended up reading it in one sitting as I didn't want to put it down. Great stories that you won't regret 1-clicking. Looking forward

This was an amazing book. I absolutely love this series.

Carol is an amazing woman. She is caring, giving, loving, and of course trustworthy. She has her issues but she over comes thwm to get her happily ever after.

Tom is a God. He is caring, living, alpha male, and a caveman. When it comes to those he cares about he will protect them. He has to fight to get his happily ever after.

Amazing book hope Maryann writes more in this series.

Maryann has done it again, perfect end to the Fairfield series. I fell in love with this book from the very beginning. I loved that Maryann portrayed Carol with real life issues faced by real women though out this beautiful love story. How could I not fall in love with Tom so willing to be his women's rock and her every thing. This book and series is a must read.
