Elora is a kind girl, who loves to garden, and has a soft spot for tiny creatures. She also loves to tell stories, and would be delighted if magic were real, but she knows it isn't. At least, she thinks she knows it isn't. Unfortunately, the fairy king has taken an interest in her, and she is about to find out how wrong she is. The fairy king plunges her into a world of ma ...more

It was a fantastic experience!
A witty exploration of what our world would be like with a fantasy element.

This book read like a classic fairy tale: magic filled every page with wonder, but there was so much that didn't make sense simply because of the nature of the magical beings. In fairy tales, you read about random things and don't force yourself to think too much into them: how can a princess feel a pea underneath 100 mattresses, and how can a kiss from a random stranger actually be true love? It's a magical fairy tale so of course it doesn't make sense, but it still drives you along to a satisf ...more

Balance is important in life. Everything we do and don't do creates this delicate balance of the earth. Sometimes that balance gets thrown off and the consequences can be devastating, especially if you are the fairy king.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened this eclectic story. There is something for everyone. A young girl experiencing her first love, lots of magic, mythical creatures and friendships that defy "normal". While fairies, unicorns and elves aren't things I generally look for i

I really liked this book!

It sometimes dragged a bit, but I was never bored. I always wanted to know what was going to happen next.
Jerad and Arial kind of bugged me a bit at times, but I'm sure they were supposed to with their stubbornness :P

I really liked the ending, so sweet. You really grow to like Jerad, even though in the beginning it was just a little bit creepy...

This book was wonderfully written and really placed you in the storyline :D I applaud the author for a job well done :D

I truly enjoyed this book. If you like fairy tales and happy endings then this book is just for you. The story involves fairies, elves, sprites, and a whole mess of magical creatures. The story is really good however, there where some slow parts but the story is good enough to keep you going. RECOMMENDED

Great read. Plenty of unearthly romance, and changing forms. If you like fantasy, if you like young romance, if you like happy endings, you will likely like this book. It has fairies and elves, it has a "unconventional" unicorn, it has ants as a fairy element, it has computers, set in a modern and fairytale world.

This book was an remarkable read for me. It changed the way I think about wildlife outside. I really liked how Elora is terrified of the fairy king, but the fairy king loves her. This a a great book, and I really wish you would read it to see my joy in the book.
