Seeing as this is six novels within one, I'm going to review each individually. I am also going to base my rating for the anthology as the average of all six books.
Carter Reed by Tijan
3 Stars
It stared off great but around the half way point I found it slightly boring. It was a great read but it wasn't what I expected. I thought there would be a bit more action. Maybe a bit more of a mob type story, not just knowing that Carter is connected to the mob.
One thing I really enjoyed was the sex scenes. Even when Carter and Emma do have sex it is not described in great detail like other novels would have done. It would have taken away from the story if that was the case. It's mostly glossed over and when it is written it's done with little detail that doesn't feel forced. So thank you Tijan for doing that and not being like other authors and writing smut just for the sake of it.
The writing was brilliant. Tijan is very good at showing emotion through her writing. When Emma was in shock or disorientated from a situation you could clearly see it and feel it along with her.
I will definitely be reading Tijan's other work!
Jake Undone by Penelope Ward

Wow! What can I say? I don't think I'm ready to part with these characters. There is just something extremely special about Nina and Jake that I wish I could never stop reading about them. I loved every second of their journey.
Jake just became my new book boyfriend. Yes he's flawed but who isn't? And the all the cute things he does for Nina made my heart melt. Even when he was joking and being way too honest you cant help but love him.
I'm going to leave it there because this book should be read without been given any spoilers. Just pick it up, read and enjoy.
I can't wait to read more from Penelope Ward and I really hope I catch a glimpse of these guys in her companion novels.
Highly recommended.

Such a great read. Easy and light with no angst.
I would have given 5 stars but I felt that there should have been a bit more drama. This has me conflicted as I hate drama but I felt there should have been a bit more "umph" to really round out the story. Yes, there is issues that the characters deal with from their pasts but there wasn't really any drama for their present that had me flipping the pages needing to know what going to happen next.
But nevertheless, I really did enjoy this book and I will definitely be reading more from Vi and I cant wait to read the rest of this series.

With the exception of Lauren Blakely's book, I have to admit I was really, really disappointed with this anthology. The structural mechanics of this book are SO sub-par that it's almost as if they turned in their first drafts without any edits to make a deadline.
Many of these books feel like they were written by high school students (showing vs telling, way too many cliche phrases, poorly executed metaphors)
With so many of these authors being "best selling authors" I was really surprised at the poor quality of the stories.

I love this box set! I love every book in it!
Carter Reed by Tijan
This book is amazing! I admired Emma for her braveness, her courage, her heart. I mean, the girl did what she had to do. I adored Carter. He was so protective and caring, and at the same time so commanding and dangerous (to everyone but Emma, of course). This was my first Tijan book, it will definitely not be the last. I highly recommend. <3
Jake Undone by Penelope Ward
This book blew me away. Penelope Ward has an amazing knack for writing books that drag you in and hold you tight. You feel everything the characters do. Her female characters are absolutely relatable and it's impossible not to fall in love with her male characters. One of the things that I loved about Jake (one of many, many things but still), was that he went out of his way to bring Nina up, to help her get over her fears, to make her laugh and smile. This book is utterly beautiful. I can't recommend highly enough. <3

I love how they were both broken each fighting something that haunts them from the past, not to mention they are complete opposites, yet they fit each other perfectly. I adored Nico! Such a tough, strong man being so gentle and sweet. Impossible to resist. I really felt for Elle and what she went through, I admired her courage and determination. I highly recommend. <3

This book was mind blowing! I loved it! Kellan was frankly, sex on a damn stick. He was beyond amazing, I can't even accurately describe. Phoenix was also amazing. I like how determined she was, how she stayed true to herself regardless of the situation, and the girl has an amazing heart. This book was captivating. I highly recommend. <3

This was my first Aurora Rose Reynolds book. It will not be the last. I utterly loved this book! Nico was amazing! I loved how protective he was and how he absolutely refused to let her push him away. He was going to make her his and nothing was going to stand in his way, I loved that. I really liked Sophie as well. She was courageous and had heart, and yet she was real. She was relatable. I highly recommend this book. <3

It was only a matter of time, of breaking past each others barriers, and moving on from their pasts. I highly recommend this book. It was a beautiful adventure. <3

Amazing
Absolutely amazing!!! Each story ending with me thinking omg this is my favorite!!! I want so much more from all of the authors!!! These all were fantastic!!! Couldn't put any of them down! Devoured each one!

I truly didn't know what to expect. let me start by saying I'm a book a day reader. As you can see this set of books took longer. These books took me by surprise. . All of these books kept me on the edge of my seat. My friends would ask what I was read/listening to at work cause I was so into the books I didn't chat much. ( love when that happens) There were moments when I felt happy, sad, laughed and cried. They were emotionally draining at times. But I thank the authors for such great reads. I could write so much more about all the books. I just don't want to ruin the stories for anyone else. Just know that you'll be glad you read all six.

Individual reviews are listed under individual titles....This was a great package deal, but there are so many other books associated with each one here, it would have been better to just get each 'series' on it's own. It did introduce me to 2 new authors, so for that, I'm grateful.

FOREPLaY!!!!!!! That is what I am talking about. All the stories were great. Some were a little darker than others and 2 were rereads but loved them again. Two new authors that I will be looking into. Very good reads!!!!!

4.5. Considering the price and the fact that i got to read from authors i haven't read yet, this was a good book. And I will be checking out thses authors other books. It was definitly worth it
