Fake It Till You Make It

Good characters. Interesting story. I rated 4 stars because I did not like that Sam was married. Not for a police detective. They should be honorable. Tiffany Black more to my liking.

Very interesting book. Love the uplifting style A.R. Winters writes in. Comedy and mystery are the best ways to write. Val and Jerry make the perfect odd couple for such a fun book.

I rated this book 4 out of 5 stars because ot was addicting and flowed well from the first book, "Don't be a stranger". Jerry brought the playful, fun side of investigating while Val brought the serious, big sister investigator to the book. I would recommend this book to anyone whom likes mysteries but not too much hardcore, intensity killing. A.R. Winters is a smart, witty author whom paints a wonderful picture of her characters in your mind while reading a fun, laid back, curiosity inducing novel. Go ahead, read both, "Don't Be A Stranger" and finish it with, "Fake it till you make it". You won't be left disappointed.

This my first Valerie Inkerman book

I would like thank Ms Winters for my advance copy for an honest review. This mystery is a quick read and really enjoyed the book. I found myself smiling laughing while reading during. The has some interesting twists and turns before you find out the truth about Rob. I love interaction between Val and Jer. They remind me of siblings. I give the book 4 stars because I wanted more pages. I would recommend it mystery readers of all ages. This is a clean fun read. I will read the first book to see how Valerie and Jerry met.

There a little man bashing but it was not mean in a bad way I actually thought it was cute.
I loved the way you introduced Tiffany Black and I love that series.

These books are fun to read but, flip of the coin, also disappointing. The main characters work together well but other characters are undeveloped and hollow. It seems some characters are introduced without reason. While there were many good suspects who could have developed into the "perp," the actual murderer's character was not developed at all. Would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for a real mystery; however, for a quick, fun read it's great.

I really enjoyed the second installment of this series. The mystery was full of twists and turns - I love it when the ending isn't obvious! I won't ruin the story for those who haven't read it, but I didn't feel the love triangle worked. However, there was enough mystery that I didn't need any romance. I'm really excited for the next book that will intersect Valerie with Winters' other female series character Tiffany Black!!

Light Mystery

Nice light mystery. The characters are well defined and the mystery stayed a mystery till revealed. Looking for the next book in series to be out.

Easy, fun, fast read when you just want some light and simple entertainment. I choose this book because I have read all of her others. This one was much the same.

This is the second book I've read in this series. Much like the first one, it's a quick easy read. The two detectives are amusing and play well against each other.

Another great series

I should have read this one before the tiffany black series. Even tho it's only two books it's still a great series.
