Mann combines the picturesque nature of Texas with the needs of family, business dealings with romance, emotions with sex to create an unforgettable novel that held me captive. This emotionally infused novel not only took me directly to Hidden Gem alongside the characters, it also made me look at life in a slightly different manner. Mann brings real life to the pages of her novel in a way that creates a story you won’t be able to put down.

I loved the cast of characters in this novel. Nina’s wor

Very good book. Nina is the single mother of an autistic son. Her life revolves around taking care of him. She is also a city girl who has never understood the appeal of cowboys, but her son is fascinated by all things horse and cowboy related. When she is offered the chance to take Cody to a weeklong horse camp for special needs kids she takes it. She meets Alex the first day there and begins to understand...

After finishing the first book in this series, One Good Cowboy, I started this one right after. I liked that this book focussed more on the ranch and used that as the setting. This book focusses on Alex, I didn't like Alex too much in the first book, but we get to see a while different side of him here. And he's actually more alike Stone than I expected, they are both quiet hard working men who love animals. While in book 1 the focus was one the

They can’t deny the attraction but she is their for her little boy but this man unsettles her, the moment that he sees her he is intrigued but he has no idea that his grandmother has a test for him that involves her.

This is the second installment in a series that took me by surprise. I know that I am going to have to read the first book in this series so I can get to know Alex’s cousin and the woman that he went out with. I loved how they made a part of their ranch into a ranch

Pursued By The Rich Rancher by Catherine Mann is a wonderful story in her Diamonds In The Rough series.

Single mom Nina Lowery will do anything to protect her special needs son. She herself never understood the appeal of horses and cowboys but her son Cody loves everything about them. Nina is drawn to the sexy cowboy that has taken an interest with her and her son.

Alex McNair loves running the Diamond Gem ranch and all its programs. With his ailing grandmother asking for a special favor Alex is t

Here’s another charming diamond in the rough short novella by Catherine Mann.

Pursued By The Rich Rancher, single mother Nina Lowery is not sure if she is ready to be bowled over by the sexy and millionaire, Alex McNair. Her plate is full with taking care of her autistic son, who is her entire world and getting over a past of pain and fear. Coming to the McNair ranch means only thing to her and that is for her son to be a part of the camp for special needs children.

But Alex McNair falls head ov

I thought this was a sweet and charming read. I could not really find a 100% connection to either Nina or Alex. Well if I have to be honest, it was more Nina that I found to be a 60% likability. I understood that she came from a damaged marriage but I found it annoying quickly when Nina would not let her walls down as easily when it came to her heart and feelings for Alex. One moment Nina was guarded and the next moment she would start to open up just to quickly shut down again.

I didn't buy into the conflict between the protagonists and the tension fell flat for me. I did love the setting and the animals - always a high point for me in Mann's books.

Pursued by the Rich Rancher by Catherine Mann is a book I loved and I will read again! It is really a good read filled with hope, despair, angst-emotional and sexual, and the love of a grandmother who would do anything to make sure her 3 grandchildren did not turn out to be worthless trust fund babies like their parents were. The grandchildren love their grandmother and will do anything for her. She is dying of brain cancer and they

I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review, and here it is:

Nina Lowery, our heroine, is a divorced mother with an autistic child. Alex McNair and his wealthy family own and operate a multi-themed ranch resort which also features a one-week program for special needs children and their parents, focusing heavily on equine therapy. When these two characters meet, there is an instant attraction between them, but our hero has been given a challenge by the family matriarch, and the

Pursued by the Rich Rancher by Catherine MannMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Catherine Mann had me from the first page.  Pursued by the Rich Rancher is a story that warms the heart, stimulates the mind and is just plain entertaining.  It deals a serious issue.  Dealing with autistic child through alternative means.  I had never thought of stimulating reaction in a special needs child through animal therapy before.  This book is a treasu

I enjoyed reading Pursued By The Rich Rancher a Diamonds In The rough series by Catherine Mann. Alex McNair and his family run a ranch for special occasions. This one week they were having a special need children
special. Nina Lowery came with her special need little boy. The first day when Nina met Alex she didn't know his family owned the ranch. Sparks between them flew that first day. The romance has it's ups and downs. A must read.
Harlequin Books
"The camp setting provides a seductive backdrop for romance, and the author gives an accurate description of life with an autistic child. Alex is expressive with his feelings, even as Nina remains cautious — and the week-long camp is just the beginning" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).
