Those of us who have read other books by Elias Zapple will already know that he is an author with an incredibly zany sense of humour, and with an extensive knowledge about slugs. This book is a great showcase for both of those attributes. Not only do we get an introduction to all the crazy slugs who are most notable in Zapple's world of slugs, but we are also treated to his favourite slug recipes, and to a smattering of slug facts.

This book had me laughing, even when I felt I shouldn't (will the
