I would have loved to read the two previous books first, but the "chips" did not fall that way! From the first page to the last, this book is full of adventure and excitement! Apparently, a group of previously acquainted youth and families have experienced many adventures. Now a group of the youth, plus new individuals, are given the opportunity for a Youth Camp experience on a new spaceship for three days. The youth having exceptional skills and abilities, are chosen from different planets.

Mystery and excitement rolled into a neat package.

This third instalment in the Caramel Cardamom series adds another mystery solving adventure to Caramel’s belt. The main plot centres around our favourite elven hero being part of the inaugural flight of the shiny new Stellarcadia space ship. Along with a group of high achieving teens, she embarks on the journey of a lifetime and takes part in an on-board conference that showcases their talents, set to culminate in the longest hyperspace jump ever

DAUGHTER SAYS:

This book is about a girl elf, Caramel, who goes on a spaceship named “Stellarcadia” with her friends to a Intergalactic Youth Summit. But she discovers that people aren’t who they seem to be and they are all in danger. I liked how they got to go on a spaceship and how they could eat anything they wanted. I liked that the e

What I love about the Caramel Cardamon Trilogy is the heroine is small and has a handicap yet solves issues well beyond her years which still being a nice person. It is wonderful that such a person is the center of the story. This story helps students empathize with her while simultaneously being impressed with her cosmic talents and abilities, and knowing she won't miss a beat and will solve any problems that come her way. She has a talented group of interstellar friends who each have their own ...more

Third book in the Cardamon Trilogy will not disappoint fans of the first two books, and also provides an interesting stand alone science fiction, fantasy space travel adventure. Caramel Cardamon is back with her brother and gang of friends who again pool their talents to save the day.

At the outset, Caramel and fifty of the most talented youth from all over the universe are waiting to board the newest passenger space vessel and battleship, Caramel Cardamon Crystal Spaceship. This group of talente

Couldn't put it down!

This third book in the Caramel Cardamom series starts as Caramel and her friends are about to board the great starship Stellarcadia on a once in a lifetime trip. If you’ve read Escape from the Forbidden Planet and Return to Cardamom, you’ll be ready to jump into this one wholeheartedly. If you haven’t, I suggest you start with those. But even if you have, I recommend you follow up quickly, as it’s a fast starter and I took a while to remember who the friends were.

Princess Caramel is off on another adventure, this time on a spaceship. . .but not just any flying piece of old metal. This ship is filled with fantastical surprises and dreams come true. As in the first two books of the Adventures of Caramel Cardamom series, fantasy is not a foreign word. Kids will love exploring the ship with Caramel and her friends as she discovers new and amazing things around each bend. And, of course, there's a bit of excitement, mystery and a pinch of danger thrown in.

What do you get when you cross mind-reading elves with intergalactic space mystery?

An amazing book, that’s what! First off, I love the prose style. Although younger MG’s may need help with a few of the words, the writing is engaging and easy to read. And even though the protagonist, Caramel, is elvin, many of her emotions are human, making her easy to relate to. I loved following the adventures of her and her friends against a villain so devious, he must be seen to be believed. Finally, the tens

I am a huge fan of Ms. Grasso’s books. She writes fabulous adventures for young people that make you keep reading. The action was non-stop! Caramel is a great main character that one really wants to know more about. She interacts with her friends in a positive way, and is always curious! I like that the characters travel into space in this book. The story was a quick and easy read for me, but a fun read. Ms. Grasso ‘s writing style keeps a smooth flow to the story. The plot is solid and keeps yo ...more

My ten-year-old reader says this is brilliant, and very clever! The writer made the plot very clear without it being boring and it was a brilliant story and made bedtimes worth looking forward to.

This book was fantastic! I finished it in a day because(A)it's a quick, easy read and(B)I couldn't put it down. I feel like I would have understood it much more if I had read the previous two books, but it stood on its own pretty well. I notice that the synopsis on the back said it was the conclusion of the trilogy. I certainly hope based on the way it ended that there will be more books in this series.

With a background in paediatric nursing, Julie Anne Grasso spent many years literally wrapping children in cotton wool. Every day she witnessed great courage and resilience from the tiny people she cared for, which inspired her to write stories about a little girl elf just like them.

She has a degree in Nursing from Queensland University of Technology and has been published in her nerdy nursing spe
