I have read this book several times and keep it on my dresser so I can pick it up whenever I need it. It's very short, very practical, and really changes the way I think about, talk to, and work with my kids. It's also effective! Great for building up kids' sense of personal responsibility and self-esteem, as well as taking some of the pressure off the parents to "rescue" or "do for" the kids.
