Woohoo! Now that's what you call stellar romantic suspense. Energized gave me everything I was looking for starting with one hella sexy (and sometimes grumbly) Marine. *swoons* Romance, awesome characters, fan yourself sexy times and one heck of a surprise twist...oh yeah. Loved this one to bits.

Now. I need Ryan and Ian's stories. omg do I!

Full review to come.

This has been a fun series from the get-go. The blend of humor, suspense and psychic paranormal romance has been nearly addictive. With this story, I can agree with a few others and say the author hit her stride and gave me my favorite one yet. There's something about curmudgeonly ex-Marines, teasing steely-spined heroines with a psychic crift, a dark killer, the bustle of a restaurant, and a potential family reunion all blended together to make for unputdownable reading.

Yes, this is the third b

All Niall Graham wants is some peace but a quiet life is hard to come by especially when Hannah strides into his restaurant with the news that a serial killer is on the loose and striking a little too close to home in this adrenaline pumping romantic suspense.

Hannah’s gift had never steered her wrong, not when it lead to her one night with sexy Marine and not when she felt the need to leave home and find her sisters but now it’s made her an unwilling witness to a brutal murder and the reader ca

Review courtesy of All Things Urban Fantasy:

Romantic thrillers are typically pretty formulaic. He has a military background and problems expressing his feelings. She has a shady past or a dark secret. They typically have sex super early on, then meet up again later on and it's a bit awkward but sparks fly. ENERGIZED manages to hit all those bases, but has enough original additions that helped me devour it.

Hannah's gift helps her get into the minds and lives of the people around her, but when she

I really enjoyed meeting the third and final Scott sister. Niall and Hannah were just as awesome as a couple as the couples that came before them. One of the things I love about the Tidewater series is that it has a great cast of secondary characters. We get to see a lot of old and we get a few new as well in ENERGIZED.

The opening chapter of ENERGIZED did a great job of showing the reader how absolutely into each other Niall and Hannah were going to be for the rest of the book. They both develop

ENERGIZED closes the Scott-sisters arc, but I am hoping that this wont be the last book of the series. MBehre's style is addictive, entertaining, and hopeful, with equal amounts of sci-fi, sexy and romance thrown in to make the stories jucier.

4.5 stars - My review cross-posted from Wit and Sin: http://witandsin.blogspot.com/2015/07...

Energized is a deliciously addictive romantic suspense that will have Tidewater fans old and new reading late into the night. Hannah and Niall’s story is fast-paced and exciting, thanks to Mary Behre’s gift for blending heart-pounding action with a sweet, yet steamy romance.

In Energized , the youngest “crifted” Scott sister finds her way home to Tidewater. After the death of their mother, the three Sc

Well the third book in the Tidewater trilogy turned out to be much more of a suspense novel than I expected and it was fun to finally get to know the third sister Hannah. Hannah can barely remember her natural parents but has grown up with loving adopted parents who have protected her and her amazing gift . It turns out that Hannah like her two sisters has a power that sets her apart but hers is psychometry and when she touches metal objects she literally steps into the memory of whoever previou ...more

Energized is the third in the Tidewater series. The series focuses on three sisters who were separated when their mother died. Each book looks at one sister, her unique talents and her romance. The talents are those of the “mind” which is my favorite kind of supernatural. Their men have military and / or law enforcement backgrounds.

I thought Energized would be about the younger sister finding the two older sisters who hav

Objectively, 4 stars; 3 for my personal reaction

I had very mixed feelings about Energized. There are aspects of it I loved, and it is just as well-written as the other books in the series, but I found parts of it disturbing because of how much it goes into the head of a really sick serial killer. That’s very much a personal reaction; that sort of thing gives me nightmares (literally.) If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers, it probably won’t bother you in the least.

This has been a tumultuous series for me as a reader. I LOVED book one and raved continuously about it but then I couldn’t even finish book two and gave up around the 50% mark of the book. Picking up Energized was something I wasn’t even sure I was going to do, but it just called to me the other day and I figured I’d at least try it. I’m so glad I did because I really enjoyed this one and felt the characters were extremely well done.

This series has been a good one. It's got some paranormal elements, and this is the third sister, Hannah who has visions when she touches certain objects. When I say Paranormal Romance, I think we all think shifters or vampires. This is more along the lines of psychic gifts and ghostly visitors. There's also a suspenseful element that definitely had me guessing for the whole book.

Hannah has gotten visions since she can remember, and since being separated from he

Hands down the most shocking reveal in a story I've read this year.. And it wasnt just shocking it was sick, twisted, and sad.

I've been waiting for Hannah's story since the first book came out. We were given so little information about her so to finally find out who she is and what her crift was exciting. She had the gift of Psychometry which is a form of extra-sensory perception characterized by the ability to make a connection to a person from an object by making physical contact with that ob

“Energized” by Mary Behre is part of the ‘Tidewater’ paranormal series that is set in an unusual town in Virginia. The tale centers around Hannah Halloran, a woman who has the unusual talent of metal psychometry, allowing her to relive another’s experiences by touching something metallic that they have held. A searing one-night stand with a mourning Marine has unexpected consequences when she comes into contact with him again in his hometown, but neither expects the ties that come to bind them, ...more

Great Series!
This is a great series; this is the third book in the Tidewater series by Mary Behre. Hannah Halloran has a gift, if she touches metal then she gets visions. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read one you will want to go back and read the other books. She works in her parents bar and spends an unforgettable night with a sexy Marine after a vision she gets from touching his keys. She leaves him her number, but he never calls. She finds out that she is adopted and he

Initial Thoughts: I think I liked this one better than the previous novels. Though it started with a lust at first sight/one-night stand, I enjoyed how they grew to love each other in spite of the all-encompassing lust. Niall and Hannah were a fascinating couple and I enjoyed their journey. The mystery of the serial killer was gripping and surprising. My previous complaint about police procedures in the first novel is absent here. I do love a good "Plan B" though and enjoyed how the police proce ...more

Mary does it again, only she keeps getting better! I could not put this book down for several reasons. Hannah, the third sister is finally in the picture and travels to Tidewater, where she can finally reunite with Shelly and Jules. Karma, my favorite character so far, is back and becomes a quick friend to Hannah, also helping to get Hannah and Niall get together. And the page turning mystery and suspense of who is going around murdering the men of Tidewater! I must admit, Mary Behre threw a cur ...more

Solid middle of the road paranormal read. I read the first of the series and skipped the second and didn't feel that I really missed anything. The heroine's psychometry worked well for the story here. I did guess the villain but there was a decent red herring. The hero's actions sometimes seemed forced for the story and I thought he was a total ass to his brother most of the time. Jimminy. May or may not go in with the series.

Energized by Mary Behre is the 3rd book in her Tidewater series. I have been a fan of this series from the start, and Energized was the best one so far. It had a bit of everything…romance, suspense, mystery, fun, sexy hot couple & wonderful secondary characters.

Hannah Halloran is our heroine, and we meet her early on when she is tending a bar in her home town in Ohio. She meets our hero, Niall Graham, who is passing by. Niall is a marine, coming off duty after serving a difficult time in Afg

Energized is my first book by this author and my first book in this series. This also happens to be my first romance with some paranormal elements. I liked it but I didn’t love it. The book is about Hannah and Niall. Hannah has psychometric abilities which allow her to glimpse the memories of others when she comes in contact with metal objects. Niall is a soldier returned home with memories that nobody wants to have. When the two meet, Hannah sees into Niall’s memories and offer him some much ne ...more

Paranormal Romance
Mourning the death of his fellow Marines, the hero meets a stunning kind hearted bartender one night in Chicago. The heroine can see visions via metal objects and when she sees how desperately the hansom quiet man needs her, she brings him home. They spend one night together before the hero leaves to go back to Virginia. She left him with her phone number but then the hero is hurt to realizes it's a wrong number. When I discovered Mary Behre I was delighted to find an author who does paranormal mysteries without vampires or werewolves; instead the Tidewater novels explore characters that all share various psychic capabilities in a very realistic format. Energized is Hannah and Niall's story. It is not often that I am unable to follow the clues to help uncover the murderer, but this tale had me slack jawed at the reveal. I appreciated that the author left clues that had me pondering who the murderer could ...more

I really enjoyed this story. I like the banter between Niall and Hannah. Niall has some PTSD from his time in the Marines and is a definite control freak, but Hannah is strong and calls him on it when he crosses the line. They work well together and are supportive of each other. This is the 3rd novel in the series, and we get to see the couples from the previous books in the series, as the heroines are all sisters. Mary Behre could never decide which kind of story she liked more, paranormal, mysteries or romances. So it only made sense that she combined all three in her books.

All three novels in her Tidewater Trilogy are award-winners.
