A classic book for teachers of creative writing...and college composition. Highly recommended for those who teach both! We read this in my "Teaching of Popular Fiction and Writing" graduate course at Seton Hill. Wish the book were updated into a new edition, but after Bishop's death it's hard to know who would do such a thing.
