Turning Points in Compassion is a series of essays by people of a very broad range of backgrounds. The essays, like the authors, vary wildly in approach, length, content, etc. What you end up with seems a little uneven at times. This is a powerful book for today's times. We have to become aware of the Earth's importance and therefore live our lives fighting for peace, compassion and other creatures.

Being a person who loves all Gods creatures and especially dogs and Alpacas and fights for their welfare and against eating them, I loved the book and read it from cover to cover and have ordered more for family and friends, This book needs to be in everyone's home.
