Liv Taylor has always been a good girl, but when the tall and sexy stranger she meets at one of her friends' wedding starts talking about making choices between tongues and c*cks...she decides it's about time she became a bad...BAD girl!

This is free on Amazon... It is a prequel to the "real" book. It says it is just the start so there is no surprise to the reader it ends on a cliffy. I would be lying through my teeth if I said the cover didn't catch me, the idea of what vs what didn't hold interest and I wasn't easy when it came to all of the above. Guilty as charged.
What I read had the flavor of a 22 year old gal who had knee jerk reactions to a lot of things in her life; a dare, her comparisons to her sister from her parents, her need to be an equally good perfect girl like sis ...and due to these habits... she decides to do a sexual encounter with this guy. That is all fine...hot smutty sex usually works for me...I just had some issues with how it all came together and where, etc....
What came next, though, was the kicker... I know authors are looking for the hook... the thing to have us by the short curly's, frothing at the mouth and then leave us there to run to the next book... but what was set up was something which has the main guy in such a light... I do not know how he can be redeemable...and our gal's reaction... I just don't know...
So although this may be tantalizing... in the head...in the actual brain matter for me... I am thinking I will pass.

A short intriguing prequel. I liked it a lot!
Liv and her best friend Alice are both invited in another friend's wedding, well not exactly, they hate the couple getting married but they made up their minds to have a lot of fun.
And Liv certainly does when she meets a charming stranger that captivates her right away with his cocky smile and his devious tongue..
The one night stand that will follow will change both of their lives.. But there is a huge problem..
Liv will find the handsome stranger, that won't stop invading her mind the last few days, into her parents house a week after the awesome night they had.. There the things will get complicated.. Too complicated..

Wow just wow.....and no the magic word is not please.

Oh wow I loved this, cliffhanger and all and I can't wait to read to the full book, I'm going to be busy the first week of January since this is the third must have book which is out then, almost makes you wish christmas away...but not quite.

A Quick And Easy Read With A Twist
This book tells the story of Liv, who has a one-night stand with Xander at a friend's wedding. These two soon find their paths crossing again, and it appears unlikely that these two will be able to rid themselves of the other. For good-girl Liv, sleeping with Xander was a rebellion and a way to cut loose. She never thought she'd see him again, and she certainly never imagined the circumstances that would have them meeting again.
Most of this super-short book felt lukewarm to me. There were a few funny moments and the characters were likable enough. However it just didn't have that extra something that makes a story great. As the first book in the series, and a very short one at that, this book reads like a brief introduction to these characters' lives.
Despite the so-so story right up to the end, I will probably read the next book. Why? This book ends with one hell of a twist! Despite feeling pretty "blah" about 90% of this book, I'm curious to see what happens. I'm such a sucker!
I'll just hope that the next book in this series does not reference any oral sex performed by toothless wonders. Yuck! In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, that pretty much turned me off right from the start.

First of all I'd like to thank my good friend Eda for bringing my attention to this book so big shout out to you babe!
So lets start with our main leading woman which is Liv Taylor.
Liv Taylor has been known to be a good girl always but when attending a friends wedding she meets this sexy ass hell stranger which leads to a conversation about preferences of tongues or cocks (as you do at weddings lol) ,our good girl thinks you know what its time for a taste of being bad and boy oh boy she was a very, very bad girl!
Having experienced Mr Tongue's impressive oral skills in a random room in a church (very bad girl) on the floor Liz agrees to leave with the hot stranger to his hotel suite were she has the pleasure of fulfilling her first ever one night stand and might I add it was a HOT STEAMY one night stand!!

My absolute favorite and will read again and again. I strongly recommend! It has outstanding qualities. The characters are wonderful and surprising and multi-dimensional. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. The plot is astonishing with twists and turns weaved into a well thought and planned story. There’s no pretense and romance was well balanced and done entirely correctly with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors and incredible, undeniable chemistry. Predictability is at an all-time low. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. Overall, Favorite, must read again, recommend!!!

JS Cooper is such a Tease! But, I guess that is the point right? To tease us with what is to come? And this Novella did just that! Now, I can't wait for the novel! This was a fun, sexy as hell, short story about Liv and (Mr. tongue) Xander's one night together. He tells her it's just one night, she wouldn't want to be involved with him anyways...and she lies and say she is trouble, with a Capital T and he wouldn't want anything further with her either, if they only knew how true they were that night! Things are going to get a whole lot of complicated! Can't wait for One Night Stand!

This is one hot and spicy read!!! This is about an amazing one night stand between Liv and Xander. Meeting at a wedding turns into one hot steamy night. Without knowing each other's names wild sexy in every imaginable positions insuse. The ending is so awesome because sometimes one night stands are supposed to be just that. So why is Xander at her house when she comes to visit her parents? Read and you will find out. This is a short but well worth read. It left me wanting more. I loved it and can't wait for One Night Stand.

I've been in a book slump for awhile now and So I jumped back in reading one of my favorite authors- "That Night" is the prequel to One Night Stand. This is a short and sweet naughty little novella about a couple girlfriends at a wedding that should never have been, but is. About girlfriends having conversations at all the wrong times after drinking mimoses and the "Hot guy" appears outta thin air overhearing things you don't expect ANYONE else to hear besides said girlfriend-LOL!! And be goes by the name of "Miracle tongue"...Need I say more;D.

Free download. Well this was great, a very quick read but totally engaging and kept me wanting more so I need the full length novel, I need to see what happens to Liv and Xander. Wow what a one night stand, talk about hot, not the most graphic description but it wasn't required, I imagine the rest of the story is going to be great, characters are great, and the plot will be a shocker I'm sure. Would recommend.

One little fact that you should know... when I first started to read it, I already knew that it was a novella and it will be very short, so while I would've love it to know more about Liv and her Mr. Tongue, I was more than happy about the ending, because it made me want to read the first novel in this series so much more.
Our story starts with Liv and her good friend, Alice in the Church while they were bored (and a little furious) and kind of made a pact, from Alice view and a joke from Liv's side: for Liv to make out in said Church for fun with a stranger...
Obviously, Liv doesn't give a second thought to this crazy idea at least until HIM...
Mr. Tongue is one of the hottest man Liv has ever seen in her life, besides he's charming, amusing and gorgeous. And the best part? He can make her forget her name in a second, by just a whispering a Word. He seems perfect, right ladies?
Well... for one night stand... he really is! He makes her live the best (and adventurous ) passional night of her life. Damn... all the things that man made ME feel! I was convinced for a second that Liv will give up and ask him to date her (I would've done so in her place!)...
But Liv knows that it will more easy to get over him since he's not really her type of boyfriend, so she just wants to remember it as a good memory until the reunion with her familly when she finds out the most shocking news of her life....

I love Liv... she's such a different character by letting herself be free of the social views and she just owns every action she made without being sorry for it. And it was refreshing to see a woman who's not afraid to say what she wants with the guy she's attracted to. Besides, for a novella, there are many things that happen and we'll make you want to read the next installement right away...

Our story starts with Liv and her good friend, Alice in the Church while they were bored (and a little furious) and kind of made a pact, from Alice view and a joke from Liv's side: for Liv to make out in said Church for fun with a stranger...
Obviously, Liv doesn't give a second thought to this crazy idea at least until HIM...
Mr. Tongue is one of the hottest man Liv has ever seen in her life, besides he's charming, amusing and gorgeous. And the best part? He can make her forget her name in a second, by just a whispering a Word. He seems perfect, right ladies?
Well... for one night stand... he really is! He makes her live the best (and adventurous ) passional night of her life. Damn... all the things that man made ME feel! I was convinced for a second that Liv will give up and ask him to date her (I would've done so in her place!)...
But Liv knows that it will more easy to get over him since he's not really her type of boyfriend, so she just wants to remember it as a good memory until the reunion with her familly when she finds out the most shocking news of her life....I love Liv... she's such a different character by letting herself be free of the social views and she just owns every action she made without being sorry for it. And it was refreshing to see a woman who's not afraid to say what she wants with the guy she's attracted to. Besides, for a novella, there are many things that happen and we'll make you want to read the next installement right away...

That Night by J.S. Cooper is the prequel novella in her new series One Night Stand. This book offers a brief introduction to a new story line by author J.S. Cooper that is off-the chain wicked steamy [*Gleefully rubs hands together*] !
The epitome of a good girl Liv decides to walk the edge and go a little wild. Receiving the best orla sex of her life in a deserted room in a full church just before the wedding begins definitely counts. Following that she winds up in his hotel room for the best (and only) One-Night of her life.
No names, no questions, one night.
When she disappears after the night of pleasure she feels like she is ready to take on the world. She had her night, she was wild and now she's moving on.
The person she never expects to see again showing up in the last place she'd expect to see him throws a wrench in that machinery.
I cannot WAIT to carve out some time to dig into One Night Stand.

Possibly not fair of me to rate and review this, not having read the "real" story. But oh well, of you don't want a prologue reviewed on it's own merit, don't release it as a separate book. *shrugs*
The beginning of the book - two friends getting drunk at the wedding of a frenemy - was somewhat amusing, and when Liv, our protagonist, hooked up with a guy at the wedding, I laughed and got ready to enjoy the fireworks. Unfortunately, the sex scenes felt rushed and lacking fire to me. I thought perhaps this was due to the timing and location (a cupboard) and that later on, when she and "Mr Tongue" had a whole evening together, we'd be treated to some real heat, but no such luck. Even the hotel scene was written like the author (authors?) wanted to get us in and out as fast as possible.
And the end - oh, yuck. I appreciate a good cliffhanger ending, but this was just icky, and any (little bit of) like that I had for Mr Tongue / Xander has just gone out the window. I don't know how he'll explain himself, and I don't care. Next!

Girl who says she doesn't do one night stands, ends up letting a compete stranger go down on her at a friends wedding. In the church. Classy. She also manages to bit him on the shoulder while she's going down on him. Bendy. As she doesn't even know his name, she calls him Mr miracle Tongue. Again with the classy. She goes back to his hotel with him.
Sex scenes are icky, rather than sexy, turns out there is a connection between them. As this is a prequel I suppose the characters get together again. Cheating, especially on family members isn't nice, she might not have know, but he certainly knew he was recently engaged to someone else.
I won't be reading the rest of the series.
