We Are Not Alone

Fantastic tale - and in the manner of Lord of the Rings - the co-operation of and with others - is the Key. Humans and Orks and Elves and Dwarves and Wizards and more - Dragons and Intelligent horses no less - but not all are as they seem - and witches and orcs and ogres and dark forces and other rogues are there to beset and betray and confuse. I was lucky enough to receive this book as a prize from GoodReads Firstreads.

Wow. Although this is NOT my usual genre l was totally immersed in the story. Ogres and elves and flying dragons began to seem the norm, and yes l too was upset when they died.

Great characterisation throughout. Brilliant dialogue. l don't know what genre l would call it - perhaps science fantasy.

Thank you for choosing me as a winner otherwise l would not have chosen to read this marvellous book by Christopher Bramley

Fantastic Fantasy fiction!
I loved every minite of this book. Characters were well formed and the evolution of the characters through this book is great.
I did find some of the combat went a little over my head and I found it hard to picture what was happening but I think thats more to do with me not knowing much about it than anything else!

Great start to what I hope will be a long lived fantasy series.

Fantastic fantasy story that steers away from cliches, and mixes mythology with sci-fi.
The first in the genre I've read, and I was hooked throughout. Detailed, with great depth of character, a book that keeps you turning the pages to find out more.
