PT Um mangá em formato americano e a cores é algo pouco comum — e só isso já seria motivo suficiente para despertar atenção. A isso junta-se o facto de ser baseado numa das maiores franquias de videojogos: Elden Ring.
Este mangá procura manter-se fiel à história do jogo, e quem o conhece reconhecerá inúmeras referências a personagens e momentos marcantes. No entanto, senti que muitas dessas situações são apresentadas de forma demasiado apressada, o que faz com que quem não esteja familiarizado com o jogo provavelmente tenha dificuldade em compreender o que se passa.
O ponto mais forte da obra são, sem dúvida, as ilustrações — um verdadeiro espetáculo visual em cada página. Já a escrita é mínima, praticamente sem explicações nem desenvolvimento dos temas, o que é uma pena, tendo em conta o quão rico é o universo e a sua lore.

This manga aims to stay faithful to the game’s story, and those familiar with it will recognize numerous references to its characters and key moments. However, I felt that many of these events are portrayed too hastily, making it likely that readers unfamiliar with the game will struggle to understand much of what’s happening.
The strongest aspect of the work is undoubtedly the artwork — a true visual spectacle on every page. The writing, on the other hand, is minimal, offering almost no explanations or depth to the themes, which is a pity given how rich this universe and its lore are.

The art is very well done, but I think without the context of the game this work is pretty much incomprehensible. I feel like it didn't engage with the world, characters or lore of Elden Ring in any interesting way, apart from the visual aspect?

📚 Si no has jugado al juego ni conoces mucho de la historia, no te lo recomiendo.
⭐ Pero... si has jugado y lo conoces, te va a llevar de vuelta a esos momentos en los que paseabas por el mundo de Elden Ring.
🗣️ Apenas tiene diálogo, contexto o explicación, pero creo que lo que intentan transmitir precisamente es una experiencia visual similar a pasarte el juego. ¿Lo consigue? A la perfección.
🎨 La estética de Elden Ring me flipa, y en este tomo podemos apreciar un trabajazo artístico maravilloso para adaptarlo a formato cómic. Ojalá una serie animada.
⌛ En definitiva, si no conoces el juego, ni te arrimes. Si lo has jugado y te ha gustado la experiencia, por lo que vale, me parece una auténtica ganga.

Je ne connais absolument pas Elden Ring, même pas à quel type de jeux vidéo il appartient.
D'après ce que je viens de lire, c'est au moins du combat puisque ce tome n'en est qu'une suite. On ne sait pas trop pourquoi et contre qui le personnage qui semble principal combat (devenir le souverain d'Elder Ring ?), mais il passe son temps à combattre seul, en couple ou en groupe mais on ne saura jamais qui sont ces gens ni même qui il est.
C'est un challenge de vouloir écrire une histoire presque muette et le scénariste n'est pas à la hauteur.
Le dessin n'est pas désagréable mais il n'aide pas non plus à comprendre.

Quelle déception pour cette série que j'attendais avec impatience... Je suis bien contente d'avoir emprunté ce livre au lieu de l'acheter. On n'y retrouve quasiment aucun dialogue, simplement une successions de combat sans aucun contexte, aucune explication... Les dessins sont sympathiques, mais pas non plus hallucinants. Pour les personnes ayant déjà joué au jeu : c'est, au pire, une perte de temps, et pour celles qui n'y ont pas joué... Je doute qu'elles comprendront quoi que ce soit à ce webtoon.

This one very much attempts to give you the feeling of being in the game, but as a speedrun. There is minimal text which is for establishing scenes or monologues and if you are not familiar with teh game already you will be utterly lost.
If you are familiar with teh game, the art is gorgeous and you'll experience a very well crafted highlight reel.

This was quite a disappointment.
If “vroom, shoo, argh, Ahhhhh, bam, floof… badaboom, sling” is your idea of a compelling story, then go right ahead. But if you’re looking for actual dialogue and a narrative you can read, you might be lucky to find words every 25 pages.
It’s well illustrated, so as an art piece it can be appreciated. But as a story, it left me wondering… why?

Ich liebe die zeichnungen, aber hab nur kein ahnung was der Geschichte ist. Da ist nicht viel in der wenige Text was mir ein gute Blick gebt von der Geschichte. Ich habe das Videospiel nicht gespielt, aber mit diesen Art brauch ich was um das Geschichte zu begriffen.

Like happens to me with every manga y read, it has beautiful images, pretty desing, but bad plot. I’ll read the next one ‘cause i’m a fan of this game, but it’s not Good enought.

comprato sempre per lo stesso motivo di quello di dark souls, ovvero l' amore viscerale per i videogiochi di from, anche qui mi aspettavo molto di più. carino ma gli manca qualcosa
